I waited over a week for them to get back to me and guess what they didn't, gave them all are personal records and the guy looking after it Quit with no notice, so how safe is our information, so I talked to another clown of a finance manager who had the nerve to yell at me, didn't go over well, if I was the owner he'd been fired right away. Do not trust these guy's with your personal records ,I'd give them no star's if possible, terrible customer service ????.

Worst mistake I ever made purchasing a car through Elmwood. Within a day it was dead in the water. They said they fixed it...the battery was loose. Less than a week later, completely dead in the water again. They said it's the starter and they put a new one in.. it's now been a little over 2 months since I've had the car. The starter just failed and I was dead in the water with 3 kids half way across town. New starter hey?? Can't wait to see the report when the car is done being fixed to see if it really was a new starter. Do not buy a car from here unless you want more stress and an owner who actually the first time it broke down said well you already signed the papers so I don't really have to do anything. Not impressed. But lesson learned. So please learn from my mistake and bypass Elmwood's when shopping for a used car. I waited this long to write a review but 3 strikes and that's it. ********UPDATE: $608 repair bill to replace the "new" car starter Elmwood put in, the battery which they also switched out, and the ignition switch...which was apparently very obvious it had gone and should have been replaced immediately when the starter was apparently brand new and put in. Shocked that this company can get away with this. Wish I had read the previous review about the gentleman having similar issues. DO NOT SHOP HERE EVER!! THEY SEEM NICE TO YOUR FACE BUT THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY OR THAT OF YOUR KIDS. ANYONE ELSE HAVE ISSUES LET ME KNOW BECAUSE THIS CANNOT CONTINUE AND WE NEED TO PROTECT OTHER PEOPLE FROM THIS COMPANY. **** January 2018 update....the car is now worth $300. They did not disclose all 3 ACCIDENTS ONE WORTH $6500 IN 2015!!! Car should never have been put back on the road. I got screwed. AND all these 5 star reviews say nothing at all about actually purchasing a vehicle...so be leary about their reviews. I have the proof they are not honest people. ..but the best liars are the ones who can look you in the eye and tell you everything is okay and not to worry.

I applied online for preapproval and couple hours later Ive got a call back asking me for further informations. After that I've waited for a week I've never got a call back. So I've decided to call to see the follow up and they said "they are still in process in finding me a car" and, it's already been additional week in wait. This is reminder to people who are trying to buy car at elwood car sales. Don't bother to waste your time with salesman named mike. He is really inefficient and bad in service through thi I've wasted my time and credit. Now they have all my personal informations that they can sell to a third party behind there back!

The worst by far. Thanks to Nathan, Shawn and Kerri for putting my family at risk for giving us a vehicle that needed fixing not even 24 hours of signing the contract. They told us we can trade it in 6 months with no missed payments. That is a lie. We had tried contacting the people who sold us the 2013 black chevy equinox AWD with oil pipe cracks & leaks, only being told a trade was not in the contract and that we had to sign another contract which means extra monthly payments and extra insurance payments. I warn you now you will be stuck with the lousy vehicle until paid in full. 9 months into this now and we have paid over $5000 in fixing it. Thanks a lot guys.

If you need a car, go see Mark! This is my second experience with him and both times were awesome! He works really hard to get you what you want in your budget (and I’m picky!)with low interest rates! The trade in process was so easy and both SUVs ran great! I honestly wasn’t expecting to get a new car but he got me such a good deal where I was able to upgrade vehicles (newer year, less kms, basic model Ford Escape to a loaded Nissan Rogue) with a lower interest rate (half of what I was currently paying) and kept my payments the same. It was a no brainer and I LOVE my new Nissan Rogue! Thanks again Mark!

Just be aware that their advertised vehicles do come with mechanical issues and dashboard warning red lights but the salesman will not tell you on the phone. Their strategy is to let customer come to their lot and then inform him that the salesman “forgot” to mention that the vehicle has some issues that are not advertised....... I left their business right away for their dishonesty .......

I dealt with Barry the Sales and Financial Manager and he was outstanding and had a deal for me within a half hour the vehicle of my choice. He was prompt and efficient . Bought my car there 5 months ago and they started out really nice and friendly but come to find out the car I bought needed over 3grand in repairs for things that weren't properly check when inspection was done. I went back to dealership not hoping for much but to get something and was basically told it was my fault and I should have brought it in earlier when it was this staff that told me to take it else where.

I bought Toyota Venza from Elmwood on 27 May, I have been told car has no mechanical issue and produced self generated inspected report. I had told salesman Rabbie please clear everyone that I will be driving from fortmcmurray and paid $500 deposit, and will be driving with 3years old baby on my way to fortmcmurray 5 hours drive, AC was dead in 24 c temperature, driver side struts have leakage,was a nightmare, do not waste your time I put my family safety on high risk.

The treated me like a valued customer, gave me some amazing options, found me the car of my dreams and I could not be happier.
