So in April I bought my very first car since my big move to Canada. I know absolutely nothing about cars by the way but I knew that I wanted a Honda because of its reliability and how stylish it is. Brought in our 2014 CR-V for a oil change and a couple of other issues. Melissa was our service advisor and did a cracking job. She was quick to let me know what was up with the vehicle after the service inspection. And make recommendations on additional issues that needed to be addressed. During the checkout process, everything went smoothly. Melissa was very efficient, friendly and professional, and I thank her for that. A+ The reason for the Four Star rating; 1. There was no service shuttle or offer of a ride (thankfully Uber is still an option) 2. The vehicle wasn't washed prior to pickup 3. The interior of the vehicle hadn't been sanitized, like my key that was returned to me (with much fanfare). Granted, during these times I understand that some customer care will not be addressed. However, these are areas that could be improved.

It’s a good dealership. I bought my car from a Clarence and Tony. I work a lot, and spending hours in a dealership isn’t exactly my kind of afternoon. I was grumpy and really fatigued/tried when I visited, but I bought a car the same day. I had several really bad experiences at other dealerships and felt like these guys were the only reasonable people I met so far. The market right now is super awful because for the pandemic. I was just looking to not get completely hosed. All things considered, I’d buy from these guys again. Clarence went out of his way to the process fast and straightforward, and Tony didn’t have that annoying stereotypical dealership attitude. They both seemed like decent people, which is what you want you your dropping a tens of thousands on a car. This is how you get repeat sales. Good stuff.

I took my Honda CR V to Alberta Honda for a simple tire swap, my service advisor named Danielle advised me that my Honda had a couple issues that they found with the engine and a damaged tire, which was all covered under my warranty. She explained everything in detail, she is very friendly/helpful with answer all my questions and she was able to get me on with my day as my car had to stay overnight. After having bad experiences with my previous car, and the dealership I was dealing with leaving me high and dry and decided I got rid of Kia. I started looking for a Honda and decided that an Accord would be a good choice. I was contacted by John, and he was amazing right off the bat. My current vehicle was in the shop and I had no way to get to the dealer so he offered to come pick me up! I was extremely impressed. We test drove an accord 1.5 with a cvt but my heart was set on a 10 speed auto with the 2.0L turbo. I also test drove the new civic si, but due to space and comfort I did not feel like this would be the vehicle for me. John ended up finding a 2022 for me. Although not my first choice in colour it was my second. I totally understand that there’s a huge shortage in vehicles due to the chip shortage. I got an amazing deal on my current vehicle and it was super easy to deal with finance as well! The entire process took 3 days, but I was extremely happy to sign papers and pick the car up on a Saturday! They even swapped my winter tires for me from my old vehicle to the new one which fit perfectly and worked with the pressure sensors. Overall I’m happy with the experience and happy about how I was treated. John is a great person who will take care of you and take your needs into account.

The one star isn't for the service the people did great. The one star is for the fact I was forced to go to Honda for a window because it wasn't available in Canada for any other shops so instead of paying around 200 I had to pay 1300 for apparently a common problem for the hatchback window to just explode on its own.

My parents and I came for a test drive, as they were in the early stages of thinking about getting a new car. John was the salesman who came to help us, and from the moment we met him, we knew that he was a sincere, helpful, and respectful young man. He was able to work with my parents in an upfront, honest way to agree upon a price that worked for both parties. A quick visit for a test drive turned into my dad signing the contracts and picking up his new car the very next day, and this is all because of John! We have been to other Honda dealerships, but felt that the people helping us there were only interested in the numbers; John's calm nature, sense of humour, and eagerness to go above and beyond for my parents made all the difference! We had excellent service from Gio while purchasing my first ever "new" car. Gio is patient, honest, and down-to-earth. He did not pressure us at all and was excellent with my husband (not an easy task sometimes). I would definitely recommend Gio if you don't like the experience of being pressured at a car dealership. I had a good experience with Alberta Honda. my complain is not about dealership but about the vehicle. I bought a Honda CRV 2018 brand new from this place and it is really pain in cold weather. there is no heat generated inside the cabin even after 45 min driving. if you buy a Honda CRV, you are going to suffer all long winter time freezing. and to make it clear, there is no fix for it, you will receive some tricks and tips but all are useless. I am dealing with this issue from 2018 with all back and forth emails to/from Honda Canada. Now I have no choice to sell this CRV and buy another vehicle ( definitely not Honda!). you have choice Now. JUST DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON HONDA CRV. no mather how smooth drive it has or how roomy and fuel economy it is, you need a warm and pleasant space inside your car.

This was my second purchase from Alberta Honda and I would gladly return and recommend others to go see Salesman Matthew Dickie. I was trading in my two door Honda Civic since I am expecting twins this March and I didn't know what car I wanted, I just knew it needed to be bigger! Matt worked with me to take the guesswork out by taking the time to understand exactly what I needed and wanted out of a new car, what my budget was, and what features mattered most to me. We decided on the Pilot and he took the time to help me understand the features of the trim levels and the add on's available to make sure I got a car that would meet my needs now, be safe in all driving conditions and grow with my family. After the delivery of my car I returned to Alberta Honda to have my Winter Tires put on, and my car starter installed and was very happy with the service department experience as well. The dealership itself is so bright and welcoming from the second you walk through the door, and I never once felt pressured or rushed. If you are in the market for a new car, and want a positive buying experience I highly recommend Alberta Honda and Matthew Dickie.

Quality for services provided declined over the years. bought my last 2 Hondas from here been coming here last 10 years now. I like the sales guys and I’ll continue to buy Honda, just make sure you don’t Get the lifetime oil change as there’s other places you can service your Honda don’t lock yourself to one places. I think for the amount of money we spend on dealership service an Uber ride should be customary with COVID effecting the shuttle services. Atleast at ford they call an Uber for me everytime I go for the truck service.

Went there to have my vehicle aligned, they did the alignment but could get the left front camber to spec, when i inquire what was the cause of that i was told Rusted bolds. Had an issue with my springs( not there fault) soni had to fix it and then take it back for another alignment. This time the reason for the left fromt camber is lower control arm. This is 3 days apart. The shop foreman was very polite, when explaining the situation. The highlight of my day wasn't even the alignment issue, but when i got my vehicle back they left their plastic cover on my seat, left the var in gear with the park brake off, i had some equipment in the back with my subs that they removed and just but it back how they please, now leaving me to figure out why my suns are not playing. If there is one thing i am certain of, is that i will not be going back there.

I went into the dealership thinking that it was time to trade off my car. I did have the 2021 Mazda 3 GT AWD in mind and test drove it less than an hour of walking into Alberta Honda. I wanted to test drive the Honda Civic to get an idea of my options and was greeted by Dean. The car I wanted to look at was not available so we found a 2022 Honda Civic Touring which I decided to take for a spin while they took mine to assess the trade in value. I was impressed by the car but also by the way Dean treated me. He wasn't pushy and just really easy to talk to. The process was easy, laid back and fun. Went in today to see a used 2016 BMW 328i. My brother Arsh was talking to Clarence and when we got the front, he told us his brother John would take care of us. Oh he took care of us... absolute garbage customer skills... I know dealerships make the most off their used cars so as a friendly gesture I simply asked John what's the best they can do on this used car. Mind this is the very first time I asked this while we are discussing numbers. He laughs at us and asks us "Didn't you check the price before coming in?" and proceeded to smirk and talk to us very rudely thinking we were penny pinchers. He had the audacity to ask me what my offer was when I was right at the door upset ready to leave. I was ready to buy that car right there and then but my self respect is worth more than a $26,000 vehicle. Please avoid this "salesman"... Terrible experience at this dealership... I've left my name and number with the front receptionist waiting to talk to a Manager. No call back yet.

Edit: Booked an appointment for today to have my tires balanced and fluids topped. Service Advisor felt like she was challenging me in regards to the balancing even though I told her none of the tires were balanced and tires were new from Honda. The shop foreman however was incredibly understanding of the situation and checked the balance to find out that the tires weren't balanced. Did it on the spot and also topped up the vehicle fluids. No change in rating as overall the experience was over 50% but the issues should have never happened. Good Sales, Very Questionable Service Received a new 2021 Honda CR-V a few days ago and had a great time with Clarence & Tony. We received everything that was negotiated and no issues there... After 120km of driving, decided to have a look at the engine bay. All fluids were good with the exception of the coolant (25% above minimum cold) and windshield washer fluid barely having anything (minor thing but it's these types of detail we would expect to have for the price paid). Picked up our winter tires as arranged today but had to spend about 45m-1hr at the location; presumption was that they were not mounted/worked on before we came in as arranged. Tires were nicely bagged and tossed in the vehicle for us. Came home to find out the lack of attention for the tires. Very disappointing as you pay for a premium due to it being a dealership as compared to a specialized tire shop (KT/TT/FT/CT). Three key points are noted: 1. Euro paste was still left on the tire and not cleaned. This indicates typically a rush job and lack of detail; no issues with it being left on but it's just getting grease on your hands and everywhere. 2. Tire stickers left on the tire. Minor issue as tire stickers could potentially throw off tire balancing (measured in .25oz). Would attribute to laziness of the service technician, but... 3. Tires were not balanced. Unless I happen to receive 4 perfectly balanced tires (even getting 1 perfectly balanced is group chat worthy due to rarity), all four tires were not balanced due to the lack of wheel weights on both sides. Directions of the tires were correct (2 left, 2 right) so it means the technician knew what they were doing. Overall, experience was good for sales but upsetting for service.

I live out of town , when I made the appointment to have 4 recalls completed all at once, I specifically asked the appointment coordinator to make sure all the parts are in stock so I don’t have to come in and make another appointment. She placed me on hold to confirm and told me “yes they’re all in stock” . I picked up my vehicle today and one of the parts is on back order according to the service advisor so they couldn’t complete the last recall. How is it that this coordinator confirmed all the parts were in stock if one was on back order. Very inconvenient and frustrating. I was also told at the time of booking that it would take a couple of hours. What is the point of making an appointment for 730am when it doesn’t get done until 4pm. Get with the program Honda. Disappointed in the inconvenience this caused-but the people were all friendly .

Everyone I interacted with while at Alberta Honda was genuine and that’s so important for me. I was originally to meet with Justin (sales) but our schedules didn’t align. He was still fantastic. Not only did he arrange my meeting with another sales member to ensure I was taken care of, he made sure to introduce himself when he saw me come in for my 2nd visit. Clarence (sales) was amazing, very attentive, respectful and patient (cause I asked a lot of questions and thought a lot!). Truly a no pressure experience as I navigated my decision to purchase. Can’t stress enough how refreshing it was to not feel rushed and to be encouraged by Clarence to take as long as I needed!!! Chris (sales mgr) made sure to come by to introduce himself and let me know that if there was anything I needed to come to his office, open door policy. Sandra (finance) was excellent at explaining all of the paperwork and what everything meant. It’s a big decision and she was thorough, making sure I understood everything I was signing and where the numbers came from. When I came back a couple days later to pick up my car, exact same experience! I was treated just as wonderful and they had already made the sale. As I was taking a picture of my new car beside my old car Chris (sales mgr) came out to congratulate me on the new car and thank me for the business. He graciously listened to me reminisce through memories of my old car and the bittersweet experience of purchasing a new vehicle. If you're looking for a van (as so many of us are) the Odyssey is the best bang for your buck! We set up an appointment with John Percia who listened to our needs/wants and showed us that we could get into a brand new vehicle and on budget. Added bonus, the base model Odyssey has more features than the Sienna and the second row is much more versatile and functional for a large family. I've never owned a Honda, but after the wonderful experience I'm sure to go back. Thanks again John, see you in a couple years for my next new car!

Highly recommended!! Hats off to Fred ,Helen & Eric Fred at Alberta Honda will go well above and beyond your expectations of an automotive salesman. Fred went to bat for me on a vehicle I was very interested in purchasing which had people lining up for, in addition to myself . Unfortunately I was at a bit of a disadvantage being over 150km away and not being able to make it to the dealership for about 48 hours after my initial call. That didn't stop Fred from working his magic , he was able to complete alot of what he needed over the phone/email and also got me in touch with Helen in financing to get the ball rolling on that, as well as the deposit. Helen was able to complete everything needed to confirm financing in the matter of a couple hours and with results everyone was satisfied with. Fred still kept in contact with updates and next steps throughout the financing process. After all this, when I showed up at the dealership 2 days later to finish off the sale of the highly sought after cert, fully optioned 2019 Pilot elite black edition. the service didn't stop or slow even though at this point Fred knew I was extremely interested in this vehicle and that if I didn't take it he had a long list of people who would. Fred still went out of his way to be as helpful as can be, along with treating you like how a friend or family would expect to be treated. You felt more like Fred was a friend with your best interests in mind you were taking with you to buy a vehicle rather then a salesman who is trying to sell you a product. Even after I met with Helen and completed the financing and down payments etc, Fred never changed he still was friendly, helpful and clearly interested in helping in any way he could including offering me a ride to/from a restaurant while I waited for a cosmetic warranty option to be applied to the vehicle. His thoughts were this way I wouldn't be waiting around the dealership hungry with nothing to do for an hour or so during lunch time. How many salesman volunteer to drive you around at lunch so you can eat ? This was a first for me. I've purchased many vehicles over the years and hands down- Alberta Honda ,Helen, Eric and Fred were by far the most helpful and respectable sales and financing people I've dealt with in decades. If your into buying a new or used vehicle, a Honda or another make and model do yourself a favor and make Fred @ Honda Alberta your first call. Fred is now my first call and recommendation to anyone who is in the market for a new or used vehicle. He's outstanding . About a 15 minute wait to get into the express lube. Attendant drove the car into the shop. Check in attendant was very friendly and efficient. Went into showroom and waiting area and there was excellent separation between seating. Coffee was good. Wait was about 1/2 hr. I was paged and went and payed the check in attendant. Car was parked outside. Overall very good. Took off one star because $91.00 seems a bit high for a 4 litre oil change.

I feel like she was lied to by the salesperson about how the financing worked, and then lied to further by Tony the finance man, with him trying to milk the transaction for all it was worth, by either resisting her paying off the vehicle quickly, to selling all the scam-like insurance. The only positive was her being able to get the price she wanted, through a helpful sales manager.

He had the vehicle pulled up front (pictured below) warmed up, as it was a really cold day, and ready for a test drive before I got to the dealership! I purchased a Honda Civic and Richard was our Salesman. He did a fantastic job and really took care of us! He was very patient when we had lots of questions and were trying to decide between multiple vehicles. They made sure we got the best deal possible and applied every discount they could! The General Manager also spent a generous amount of time talking to us and making sure we were very well taken care of. Even the finance department was really good to deal with and was not pressuring us to buy warranty packages. Rather they informed us and let us make the decision. When we picked up the car, it was out front, spotless, with a big red bow on it (I’ve never had that before)! And Rich even purchased and installed a key fob cover on the key fob, protecting it and making it look really cool. Overall, it was an extremely positive experience and we are very very happy with the service!

Just went for my free oil change and they wouldn't do it unless I changed my differential oil and my engine and cabin filters. For like $200. I had already done the differential oil and changed the filters so much for free oil changes. Was thinking about another new vehicle but will maybe look elsewhere.
