We have buying cakes from here for awhile, however the last two visits/purchases the quality has been awful. For a birthday party they wrote the name wrong even though the order was done online and spelling was correct. The cake was dry and the food coloring on the frosting stained everything. When I called to make a complaint the man speaking to me was talking over me and said that is the way the cake is. I guess dry and stale is how they like to make cakes. When I told him of the spelling error he just said oh well. He did not apologize for the errors or the quality he just continued to speak over me. He also answered another phone call while speaking to me on the phone. At the end he said next time remind me of the errors. He did not take down my name or number. There won't be a next time because we won't be ordering from here.

They have MESSED UP the Sfoglia Strawberry cake order TWICE!!! At time of the online order, there were specific instructions on having the in between layers to be filled with fresh cream….no custard. And what did we get….CUSTARD!!! Regardless if no custard indicated or not, it SPECIFICALLY STATED CREAM FOR IN BETWEEN LAYERS. I raised the issue to the manager and he stated the instruction wasn’t cleared enough….hence, that’s where the confusion came about. How much more clearer does it need to be??? In both occasions, the birthday person didn’t have the cake! How embarrassing!!! SUB SERVICE STANDARDS….one star is more than generous. The owner basically doesn’t admit it is their error….once ordered online…why do I have to make a call and reiterate it again!! WE DID THAT AS WELL AND STILL THEY COULDN’T GET IT RIGHT!!! HOW INCOMPETENT CAN THEY BE?????

I went in last week shortly before closing, I was craving for some cannolis. Unfortunately they were out of stock. When I asked if they could make a dozen, they didn't hesitate at all. The nice lady went out of her way to make a fresh batch. I highly recommend this bakery. It has been a staple in the community. GREAT JOB LADIES.

I’ve been to this store twice, the first time it all went alright, yesterday, I went to this store to buy hamburger buns to have burgers with my family at home, I thought there was no need to double check my buns as it seemed like a good place, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the buns but when I got home and opened the bag I found out that they were MOLDY, I am quite disappointed specially considering that they probably knew as they gave me a discount for no apparent reason, and they chose the bread as I asked for their advice. My advice is, if still choose to go, please be cautious with everything that they sell, I find it quite disturbing how they are willing to sell a product that is a potential health hazard. As of me, no thank you, I’ll pass, a message to the owners, in these times of pandemic, all customers want is a good and fast service that we can recommend to other people; not moldy bread.

I really liked this bakery, I have visited this place for many years, but in the last month I have bought 1 cake and a cheese cake. The cake was bad and the cheesecake came with mold on it. You can see for yourself through my photos. If you planning to buy any type of cheesecake make sure it is fresh.

Excellent service and products! I ordered a tres leches cake for my daughter's birthday party. We anticipated that it would taste great (based on trying their tres leches pastry), but the cake surpassed our expectations! It was beautifully designed, moist beyond belief, and not too sweet! We received many compliments from our guests, who kept asking where we got it from. Thanks again to the staff at St. Pio's!

I can recommend the cakes the bread are fresh and delicious, but it is definitely the last time I buy here since the consumer service is bad, the store workers treat you with bad looks, they are rude if you ask something do not answer you or do it whenever they want. Got my cake done here and it turned out so good. My kid had a power rangers birthday cake and they were willing to accommodate. The cakes are light and fluffy and they are not overly sweet so you can really enjoy them. Love this cake store. Oh and thier cheesecake slices are sooooo good!!!

My fiance got me a custom made spongebob themed cake for my birthday, and I absolutely loved it. 3 layer vanilla cake with 2 layers of custard tasted so yummy, it was moist and cut perfectly even with a butter knife. It also wasn't super sweet which was a super plus. My favourite colours were used as well, with a light touch of edible glitter to finish it off. That cake was the highlight of my birthday, it looked so good I didnt even want to ruin it lol, great job and thanks!

Went here for the first time last Saturday and will likely be my last at least for purchasing their buns which were hard and appeared to be stale. I typically don't mind a crusty outside of a bun but you hope the inside of a bun is soft. However, I definitely did not get those ones and even the next day, the buns were like stone even despite putting them in the microwave in the rare hope that they'll be soft enough to eat (barely!) Maybe their desserts are better but I don't know that I'll be back to find out.

My family order cakes and buys bread here all the time and usually have no issues. However the last few times we came we have been receiving horrible customer service from the employees. When I was asking them questions they would answer and look at me like I was bothering them. Very rude staff! If you don’t want to work then don’t come to work.

I bought a cake for my son birthday and I showed a picture of Jordan cake. And the cake was not even close to the picture . I was very disappointed and the 10 piece cake was so small only 8 people could eat . And it was very expensive . I don't recommend for design cakes don't waste your money very bad when is a special occasion for your son you change $140 very spenser for the job you guys perform very bad. The owner replied to me tell me this Thanks so much for your understanding. This is bad the cake was so small you can't even make the right portions only 8 person eating this day I have to go to Metro to buy a cake $24 tiramisu 10 times better I recommend to you guys if you can't make design cakes don't offer you ruining people's occasion

Was the original St. Philips Bakery and it disappoints compared to the old bakery owners. Coffee is poor and pastries average.Didnt have their bread but as a place to sit and sip a coffee is say pass and go somewhere else.

Great service, friendly attentive staff, fresh food. i Was parked across the street wondering where the heck I was going to get fresh bread to make a deli sandwich at 5 in the afternoon? Normally bakeries only bake fresh in the morning, something made me turn my head to this bakery, I had never been before but thought hey why not try, they have a deli so two in one for me, soo glad I did. The bread was fresh out of the oven and honestly went home so excited to eat my sandwich must say probably the best ive ever had!! Im definitely going back and telling everyone I know, I cant believe ive never been here before.?

This bakery sells bread, cakes ,and sweets. Prices and taste are good and reasonable. However, there are no price tags, and sometimes they charge you more than the usual prices if you don't ask for a price. We are regular customers and we know the price for the three cake sizes, we were charged the price of medium cake on a small cake. Never coming back nor recommending anyone here again.

I've always bought my cakes from this location (so have my friends and family) and never had anything bad to say. However I went and bought a birthday cake this past Saturday which cost me a little over $75... I chose one like the one they had on display I assume it was going to be what I would get. When I picked up the cake it was the face I wanted but with different colors... the colors were all way different nothing like the one on display, when I mentioned this to the young girl who was helping me out she said " the colors on the display have faded away" I did not say anything because I know it was not her doing and not her fault... if the colors on the display have faded shouldn't they put one that has the correct colors? should not they mention this to the client before buying and paying (I had paid at time of ordering) ?... I was upset but did not say anything else because I don't like to cause any problems... did we have the cake yes we did, did we enjoy the cake yes we did, did we like the colors no we didn't ... but regardless of weather we liked it or not enjoyed it or not we paid for it.... I'm just upset that I was sold something that wasn't what I had asked for. My family friends and myself will never buy anything else from here ever again.

I just wanted to say one thing. I came into this bakery to look for a good cake and thank God I found the right place and the perfect person to help me find the perfect cake. I was looking for a cake for my mother and it turned out so beautiful and very delicious. Grace has amazing customer service she helped me prices and flavours. She explained everything amazingly! Very friendly and made it very easy! The best employee you’ve got! Some staff I know should learn from this! Overall I highly recommend this bakery to others!

The churros are very good but the customer service needs improvement. I guess I continue to come here because some of their pastries are pretty good but I think I will no longer be making the trip here. Especially after the lady that was taking my order today was not wearing a mask! That lady did not wear her mask the entire time and was talking over the food. I hope that this establishment takes things more seriously with covid.

For some reason the staff here aren't that friendly. I hate ordering cakes here because of this but its the closest bakery to me. I recently went to order a cake for my grandmother and was helped by Cass. She was amazing! I was surprised. I assume she's new. She has great customer service. The older staff could learn a few things from her. If she's there often then i will gladly return. Manager is a douche and the vanilla cake is dryer than my elbows

My husband ordered my birthday cake here because he enjoys their fresh bread. He wanted the cake for today but they called him yesterday telling him that the cake is ready for pickup. The fondant icing was very dry and the entire cake decor was almost falling apart. Maybe because it’s a day old but the pricing for the quality? It was definitely not worth $120. We are never ordering here ever again. Disappointed.

I buy here my bread and cold cuts so am a regular customer. I tried to ask for a customize cake for a friend’s daughter, i was told to order ONLINE. I tried ordering online but it does say not available. I tried another type of cake but it shows the same. I tried to call but i was told i should do online! I tried explaining my problem bit she hang the phone???? Am frustrated with their behaviour????. I got reply here but pandemic is NOT AN EXCUSE to be rude to your customer!
