Excellent. Can't say enough great things about this place. Everything from the products to the service and the ambiance is just out of this world. If we focus on the meats, top notch. Even the "lower grade" cuts are great. The main problem is that if you like to spend money at steakhouses, after grilling one of these cuts at home, you'll never want to spend a dime anywhere else; so kind of a good problem to have, right? Try this place out, and if it doesn't "meat" your expectations, reply directly to me and I'll give you your money back.

The Miyazaki A5 Wagyu "Manhattan Steak" is to die for - It's expensive but it's worth every penny. If you want a little more meat for your buck, we also tried the "NEW YORK STRIP STEAK | WAGYU-ANGUS CROSS" and you can really taste the fat throughout the meat... Very buttery. And customer service is top notch!

I was in a scramble to find a Picanha cut for an upcoming birthday. Nobody within a 60 mile radius of me seemed to have this cut or even know what it was. I found this company on Google, saw they had a Picanha in stock, but was not sure if they could get it to me in time (called on a Tuesday, needed it by Friday). Let me tell you, this company did everything they could for me, and it got here by Friday. Not only did they save the day, but their cut of meat was called "the best steak I have ever eaten' by the people that got to sample it! All I had to do was dry brine it in salt for 5 hours before reverse searing it. I cannot speak highly enough about this company. terrific people.

The only thing that was good was their shrimp. Maybe they should change they name from Mean N' Bone to The Shrimp place. Hey I've never tried wagyu before and now after eating it..I wont buy regular steak. Please do yourself a favor and try the picanha. Cook it right and you wont regret it. I bought a medium picanha. Salted both sides with coarse salt. Slow and seared it to 80, flipped it, slowed it till 115, then seared above the coals till 130. Freaking amazing meat. It fed 4 people until they were stuffed.

UPDATE 06-25-2021 - After posting my original review dated June 20, 2021 Luis M from Meat N’ Bone contacted me, then followed by Gabriel LL from their Customer Service Division and offered to me the choice of either reshipping a new Picanha or refunding the cost of my order. I did choose to have my order refunded and Meat N’ Bone promptly refunded the total purchase price of $88.64 to me, thank you. I was very impressed with Meat N’ Bone fast response and their willingness to correct my order in a very timely manner, which showed me Meat N’ Bone is a very honorable company and they did the right thing for their customer. This shows me Meat N’ Bone is a stand-up-company regarding customer service and satisfaction, so I would give them 5-Stars in that area. Hopefully Meat N’ Bone will improve their shipping methods for future customers. ------------------------------------------- IF I could leave 0 stars, I would… On Sunday June 13, 2021, I placed an order with Meat N’ Bone - Order #60338 for Picanha USDA Prime Large 3-4 pounds at $59.99 with shipping at $29.99 including a protection plan cost of $2.99 and state tax of $1.96 for a Grand Total of $88.64 of hard earned cash which turned out to be a waste of money. I should have set the money on fire; I would have had more satisfaction watching the money burn than this inferior rancid piece of meat gave me and my family… The Picanha arrived on Thursday, June 17, 2021 in a sealed box. Inside the box was a sealed with tape Styrofoam container (lid to container), warm to the touch. I removed the tape and inside was the Picanha completely thawed with (2) small thawed gel packs leaking onto the vacuum sealed Picanha. These small gel packs are the type one would use for a short-term application like a bruise or similar application; they are not, or were not ‘dry ice’. Mean N’ Bone states on their webpage “ships in a cooler with dry ice”. Gel packs of this type are not ‘dry ice’ and will not keep anything cold or cool for long. The temperature of the Picanha was 49.4 °F on arrival. Had I known Meat N’ Bone would ship without dry ice I would never have ordered from them. It is my extreme hope someone reads this review and maybe they will not become a victim to such false advertising and waste their money on such an inferior product. I removed the thawed sealed Picanha from the cooler and washed the leaking gel substance from the sealed packaging the best I could under cold water and placed the Picanha in the refrigerator still in the vacuum sealed packaging. On Saturday, June 19, 2021 I made the Picanha via grilling and the meat was inedible. The meat had an off-putting smell and tasted rancid or spoiled; the meat was thrown away, uneaten… My best advice is to stay away from Meat N’ Bone as they do not even know what ‘dry ice’ is, so can you trust them with cuts of meats.

Weird place, it's like they try too hard to reinvent the butchery concept but they fail, terri le customer service, you need to wait a long time to be acknowledged and helped by their staff that are selling meat by design, off of a digital catalog...stupid concept, a mix of time share and and a jewlery store...people some customers just want to get their steaks and get going! Avoid it unless you have 1 hour to wait and seat down to hear their pitch.

I've been looking for a reasonably priced (meat and shipping) butcher for almost 6 months now. I especially wanted pork with skin on and it has been really difficult finding quality meat that was priced reasonably. I purchase $150 to try Meat & Bone out and was not disappointed - delivery was first and foremost prompt and very reasonable. Second, my order was delivered the same week I placed it. Third, the meat was packed professionally and put to shame almost all other premium food purchases I've made. Fourth, I'm grilling some steaks tonight but I can tell from the meat that they will be awesome! I will be placing two additional orders (for delivery to the Rockies and to New England) to get my kids to weigh in but I'm pretty sure we have an awesome new place to indulge ourselves!

Nope. I should have read more reviews of this company. I placed an order and part of my order was missing. I called and they were unwilling to ship out the rest of my order unless I ordered another box. They didn't even refund me the proper amount. I called several times trying to talk to a supervisor but it never happened until I posted a negative review on Facebook. After talking with the supervisor their policy is the "policy" above the customer until the customer leaves negative feedback on a social media site. I would not recommend this company. Just buy from your local farmer.The owner is terrible at customer service. I'm surprised he lasted this long in the business. Go to Josh's Premium Meats instead!Stay away from this company! I have been trying to get better at skillet cooking higher quality meat this year. We had another couple coming over and I decided to venture away from my butcher box and wild fork steaks. Quick google maps search I found meatnbone butcher near my house. Walked in and was consulted by Gabriel for 30 mins on what steaks to get and how to cook them for a diverse group of tastes. I was kind of worried cause I’ve never cooked wagyu or dry aged ribeye. What a horrible experience on Christmas Eve. Spoke with a representative on Friday afternoon who assured me of a delivery on Monday for an afternoon pick up, only to arrive at the store and they not have the meat leaving me with no time to find an alternative. Showed me the different cuts, quality etc. it was educational and the price was reasonable for the service and quality I received. The meat turned out great in pictures and my family loved the way it tasted. Today I decided to order for a second time and I did it online for the 2 hour delivery. They called me shortly after i placed my order to notify me one of the sizes of cuts I ordered was sold out. My first order was shipped promptly and the meats were excellent. Loved the ribs and thoroughly enjoyed the pork belly. If I could give them negative stars I would. Had bought thousands of dollars of meat from them. One order was for over 2k. Lately I found thier meat fatty and overpriced. Bought 2 boneless lambs that were one quarter fat and tasted terrible. Threw the meat out! Ruined the whole party! One person contacted me from the company and offered to give me credit on one half of 1 of the lambs which I paid almost 20 dollars a pound. Found a butcher that PROFESSIONALLY cuts thier meat right and was only 8 dollars a pound. I smoked the lamb with the same rub, temperature and wood like I always do.. it came out incredible! Dont let them post thier generic reply on this one... that I never bought from them. Beware... stay away from Meat N Bone! Going to try Wild Fork Foods also.. they have excellent ratings.

Second year in a row, I entrusted Meat & Bone with providing us a fresh Turkey out of State. They delivered again, bird was delicious. Arrived when they said it would, and I added some extras that turned out fantastic as well. Ordered whole chicken that could not have been any tastier and the Boar Sausage with chiles were amazing , even used them in the turkey stuffing. Thanks again.

Ordered couple of cuts at a very premium price online. The cuts delivered with vacuum packaging completely unsealed, clearly not sealed properly, and thus has ice crystals all around the meat. When cooked the meat has very bad texture and no flavor. Very, very disappointed. Much worse than the prime beef you can buy at local supermarket at 1/3 the cost. Worst part is the seller does not stand behind their product. They refuse to issue full refund nor replacement. Instead they insulted me by forcing a 15% refund and never hear back from them again. I would not recommend this seller.

If you think excellent customer service is a thing of the past, think again. I purchased a very expensive order for a VIP client, and paid extra for next day air delivery. The air carrier lost the shipment and delivered it three days late. The products had thawed and were no longer safe to eat. True to its word, the folks at Meat N' Bone stepped up and replaced the entire shipment, including paying extra for next day air delivery (again), at no cost to me. The second shipment did arrive in excellent condition, on time, and resulted in a very happy client. Rather than leaving me to fight with the air carrier, the gents at Meat N' Bone took care of everything for me. You can't beat that for excellent customer service.

Bought two boxes from Meat n Bone and the meat quality wasn't good. The chicken breast had a weird texture, and the steaks were just okay. Never will order again. Absolutely horrible steaks - ordered Wagyu that costed over $300 and it was completely thawed! I would not recommend them for steak lovers. A complete disappointment and waste of money. I contacted the company and their response was “sorry there’s nothing I can do.” I was shocked.

I ordered on a Wednesday. Javier called me to say I probably wouldn't be able to get it for the weekend. I was a bit disappointed but I understood it was late in the day. As I was going away on Monday I would have had to wait another week essentially to see how amazing this picanha is. Well fast forward .........Friday evening I received my order and pleasantly surprised I put it in the refrigerator texted Javier and thanked him profusely for his great customer service. My wife and I just finished this amazing piece of meat. I sous-vide-rd it for 90 minutes, then seared it on a white hot cast iron pan while at the same time using a torch on the opposite side. The result was fantastic, perfectly cooked excellent taste I recommend meatnbone as highly as I can. I am a customer going forward. Thank you Javier for your great service and fantastic food.

I've used Meat N Bone several times now for deliveries in Miami and New Jersey and the meat has been exceptional every time. We really enjoyed the Uruguayan steaks, the kebabs, the ground beef, and flap. The pork ribs are awesome since they are very lean and are great with a dry rub. I had some meat sent up the east coast to family members and it was delivered promptly in two days the first go round (and they loved it) but on the second time it came very late due to delays on the carrier (UPS/USPS/DHL -- I can't remember) end. Other businesses could have said "your loss", but Meat N Bone did the right thing and refunded me for the order.

Christmas Eve dinner - Saved! I have to give serious accolades to Meat N' Bone management... I ordered a thawed, 9-10 lbs bone-in pork shoulder to be delivered on 12/23, so I could smoke it the next day for a Christmas Eve dinner. I did not get home until 10 pm that night. I examined the pork shoulder. It looked beautiful. But there was a major problem! It was only 6 pounds and change. It was not enough meat! The company made a mistake, and I was more than a bit freaked out. I brag about my cooking all the time, offered to cook for my our friend's Noche Buena party, and I had to deliver impressively. Hence, why ordered premium quality meat to start with. I sent the company a strongly-worded email, and I found that I could text them through Google, which I did. Within minutes, I had two principles of the company contact me. They were very understanding and apologetic, perhaps a bit embarrassed. In about an hour, shortly after 11pm, one of the principles, Luis, hand delivered a 9 lbs plus, gorgeous Heritage breed pork shoulder to my home. Luis even went the extra distance and left me with an additional meaty gift as a token of appreciation. Any company can make a mistake. It's how they correct the situation that sets them apart. This set them apart by a huge margin, as far as I am concerned. That's all well and good, but how was the pork? It was freakin' fantastic!! The most tender pork I have ever pulled. Simply delicious! Food for the soul. Dinner was an utter success. I received all kinds of praise. Felt like a rock star! Made their bellies full and my heart sing. I highly recommend Meat N' Bone, and I will most definitely order from them again!

Ordered a picaña and choose to pick it up at the store instead of getting it delivered so I can check out the shop and I am glad I did. The guys there are very knowledgeable, straightforward and care about sourcing. This place is a service to the community especially considering the prices. Needless to say, the steaks came out great. Edit: Sous Vide it for one and a half hours at 125 degrees with salt pepper and rosemary in the bag. After it's done, I pat it really dry to get it ready for the sear. I seared it on a cast iron skillet at 500 degrees using ghee, not regular butter. About 20 seconds on each side. Rest for ten minutes and devour.

Their product is very good, high quality. Prices are a bit high but consistent with prices for the kind of product they offer. They also deliver based on minimum order. One factor that I don't like is when you place an order online they don't tell you if they have the product available or not. It happened to me more than once that I place the order online and arranged to pickup on store. Once I arrive on the store they told me they didn't have the product (for which the accepted the order, took the payment and accepted the pickup on the day I choose). At the store they tried to push me another product (substitution). They insisted a bit but I push back and asked for a credit, which they did. I felt they wasted my time as the item they didn't have was actually what I wanted. A company dealing with premium products should not do this, they accept all orders even if they don't have the product and accept the pickup. The clear have a "do not decline any order, take it and try to switch the customer to something else" approach. I have reduced purchases from them due to that and will not order online anymore, if I need something I will go to the store.

I was surprised when I first walked in because it is not a traditional butcher shop that has freshly butchered meats in display cases. The fact that the chicken sausages with sun dried tomatoes and basil were frozen didn't matter one bit once I got them defrosted and cooked over charcoal before the Panthers vs Hurricanes game. They were some of the best sausages I have ever eaten and they turned our first tailgate since the before times into something even more special. Also, they sell some fantastic sauces, rubs, and wines.

I have never posted a Google review before, but please do not listen to the troll 1-star reviews you may see below. This butcher shop is one of the best I have had the pleasure of visiting. Their customer service has been excellent each time I have visited, and their meat quality is unmatched. They were extremely accommodating for my needs, and even brought out multiple samples of their USDA Prime 45+ dry-aged Porterhouse (vacuum-packed to maintain quality) for me to look for myself. I have not found a butcher shop as top-tier as this one.
