They are RIP-OFFs and SCAMMERS! They OVER-charge all the time, charged for two heads of lettuce instead of one, four spinach in stead of two... I caught the first double charge on the lettuce but the very next item she double charged again. I got home and realized what she had done, went back, and she offered me two more spinach, which I reluctantly took, got home and realized she wrote refund on my receipt, for 2 of the 4 spinach, which can only mean she is going to take money from the till for herself. She is a con artist. Stay away from this store! Or Watch them like a hawk.

Best Grocery around with lots of great special foods and products and great produces and some amazing prices. 2 yrs later I don’t even bother going to the big groceries anymore. They have some glorious British pies and cheeses. Such friendly staff. Please don’t leave us!

This is a neighbourhood market which has a good selection of veggies etc. They have cheeses, milk cold meats, some canned goods. Their prices are fair and quite often much cheaper then others. You just have to pick and choose for quality..

What is called a supermarket is a small vegetable and fruit stand run by a Punjabi family. Stuff are OK and at times you could get good things but the whole stand is a mess and stinks, of course. No surprise.

This is the best little supermarket in uptown. Great prices, and an incredible selection. All kinds of international foods, and fresh fruit and vegetables. You gotta try the Dutch Fingers cookies they have in there!

Been shopping in Bob's store religiously for more than 8 years. Great price's and selection. But the customer service has become offensive, especially to seniors. I have witnessed many instances of rudeness towards the elderly, employees with no personality treating customers like they are an irritation and lately a few personal issues. Purchased some purple garlic and was accused of ripping of the stem. Told the girl the garlic was as I found it. She embarrassed me, a long time customer, and refused to sell the garlic to me stating it was store policy. Lately, many of the inexpensive prices on packaged lettuce and coleslaw is because the items are close to expiration and in many occurences well beyond expiration. Trying to return expired items, I was asked if I was returning expired items with a newer receipt. Give me a break............ I am now going to boycott the store and shop for produce on 24th avenue in the Peninsula Village Center across from Safeway. There I have found excellent service, polite employees that all say hello, all fresh goods and most only priced about 10 - 15% higher. And many of the potatoes, onions and yams seem to have a longer shelf life. Price is not everything! Quality and pleasant customer service IS! Treat your long-time customers better Bob. Your girls, although not all, really need a lesson on being pleasant, having compassion to seniors and looking their customers in the eye as though they value my business. Tonight I looked on this website to see what time the store closed. It said 6:30PM every night so I decided to drop by the store and speak to Bob personally. Takes me 15 minutes to drive to White Rock centre. I arrived at 6:15pm only to find the store closes at 6:00pm and not 6:30pm as posted here. I saw Bob in the back of the store and he saw me but just ignored me. So I decided to drive back home and post my review.

Very reasonable and the quality of the product has mostly improved. Service is so so but currently the cashier is very polite and helpful. We go there frequently.

Close to my house and is a very convenient place to shop at. Very good customer service (I always get helped to the car as I can not carry heavy items). Love the prices on imported cheese. I am not surprised that I rarely get my hands on the Gouda as it is a hot seller. Overall great places for fresh fruits and veggies at low prices.

Great selection, fresh produce with awesome prices. Fair prices on various cooking oils, cheese, milk. They also have a limited selection of other kitchen items like bread, chips, eggs, dried pasta, canned goods, just be prepared to pay as much or more compared to a grocery store for those items. Fresh produce has very competitive prices.

Great spot for all your produce needs and lots of grocery store items as well. Also some awesome sausages and cheeses in the coolers. Prices are better than the big grocery stores and produce is fresher. Highly recommend this store!

This place is good for buying staff but it is the most horrible place to work. I went there for training which was not paid and the owner lady was talking very very badly to their employees like nobody can behave that much rude. So, make the choice to work there after thinking twice or you do not have any other choice.

Just dropped by this gem of a store today for the very first time and I was blown away. The selection was great and the service was also great. I purchased a couple drinkable young coconuts and they were amazing! will be back for more.

I USED TO go here every once in a while for affordable" produce. Emphasis on affordable and "every once in a while" because there is a major tradeoff in food quality for price. Actually, prices aren't affordable anymore (even for low quality produce) but the quality has gotten beyond low quality. For example. Today I bought some pears that looked normal on the outside, but was completely moldy on the inside (I will be attaching photos). Couldn't eat it at all. That is why I won't be returning to this scam of a shop anymore. I've had too many experiences like this over the years at this place. I haven't made a review before because I figure this is a mom and pop sort of shop; support your local businesses, etc etc. But I'm done. I'm just going to stick with Fruiticana for affordable produce instead.

GREAT SERVICE!! I was here shopping the other day and I witnessed that the old lady in front of me did not have money to purchase her grocery as she left her wallet at home and the lady that is the owner kindly allowed her to take her groceries on the house without any hesitation. Acts of KINDNESS like this are rare now days and I am happy to support such a business. When it was my turn at the register she gave my little boy the candy he wanted at no charge which made his day! He was beyond happy and I greatly appreciate the service at this place along with the unbeatable prices and fresh and good quality products they carry. This place pretty much has everything one would need for even the craziest recipe. Keep up the good work guys!!!

One of the worst grocery store I have been to. The whole place stinks and so the attitude of people working there including the owner's daughter and his wife.Stay away from places like these.

Poor customer service! I went last week and one of the ladies working there was extremely rude. I believe she is the owner's wife. I thought maybe she was having a "bad" day so I didn't let her attitude bother me. I went again a couple of days ago and she was still very rude.
