This store has good produce and is well stocked with things we paleo lovers enjoy. I just wish they had a butcher shop. You can get fresh soup and salads for lunch and dinner, daily. Lots of healthy stuff in there. There's a section with good quality vitamins and supplements. They have good quality essentials oils for body and infuses. They stock empty bottles for your oils and lotions, too. Customer service is good. You can sign up for free healthy eating classes, as well. I like it here.

I'm so grateful for Choices Market. As a person with Celiac Disease, this store is a blessing to my health. They have a blue sticker on the shelf below every item that is GLUTENFREE. This is enormously helpful as many items appear to have no Gluten in the ingredient list, however they do contain hidden gluten and Choices won't have the Blue sticker under these items. Yes, you do have to be aware of your prices, but I find many items can be less expensive than at other stores (even large chain stores). Then , there are sales where frequently items are much lower priced than elsewhere & worth waiting for. The selection of produce, both Organic and non, is great!! They also have a very well stocked, clean, bulk food section. The clean, open design of this store makes it easy to shop in & well worth checking out. They have the Vitamin/Health supplement Section staffed with knowledgeable people from opening till closing. Also, You can book a free store tour with a dietitian to help you with whatever your dietary concerns may be. Great store with helpful staff. Definitely a shopping pleasure. ????????????????

This place is always been awesome it's a little expensive but they carry the most wide range of healthy organic as well as regular groceries supplements Meats and other hippy dippy metrosexual hipster kind of foods and drinks. But I've found myself buying things I would have never tried before in my life because they're on their Shelf example avocado chips oh my God I'm addicted best thing I've ever had in my life never seen them anywhere else. place is always clean quick line friendly staff and you get points for every certain amount of dollars you spend you get $20 off and you'll spend it fast there

It's nice to have another grocery store that carries "unusual" items but found at other supermarkets. Having said that, they aren't usually the lowest in terms of pricing. But perhaps that is the cost needed to offset the inventory of specialty items.

bought a build-your-own-sandwich here for like $7, was not bad. better than subway lol. wish they had fresh jalapenos instead though to put on your sandwich. the tomato soup here was really good! nice and hot and fresh, good flavour. the store itself doesn't seem bad but I didn't actually browse the store or anything, just came here for a quick bite to eat.

Was here during Covid times... wasn't too bad. Self serve food items were unavailable. Staff seemed helpful. I just came in to grab a small cheesecake to satisfy a month long craving. It was clean overall but prices are higher than normal. Of course... some meat items tend to be decently priced for what you get in quality especially compared to superstore, no fris and walmart.

A very beautiful, clean store full of organic, fair trade and local produce and products. Recommended to anyone who cares about quality in their food, skincare and household items. Plus, this place has a wide selection of vitamins, supplements and specialty dietary foods (vegan, gluten-free and keto) that are hard to find elsewhere. Some of the brands this store carries: Zevia, Lily's Chocolate (both chocolate bars and chocolate chips for baking), Califia coffee, Good To Go bars and Coconut Bliss ice cream. This is an excellent place to shop.

This is more a high-end grocery store for the wealthy. Prices are too high for the average consumer but you get a better selection of items to choose from and most of it is certified organic. Food waste is also a concern and probably is why the prices are higher.

We regularly go here about every 2 weeks right after i get my haircut in the area. The issue i'm having was.. So we're in the aisle where the jams/compotes are. We noticed some jams on special. Pretty much the whole shelve had deals. Mainly it was the "Bonne Maman" that was on sale for $4.99 with card. There was only one of them that didn't have a tag but i figured it was because it was the one on the far right which was on the other shelf and could have been easily left out of tagging. Regardless, i asked a stocker about it and he said "they should all be the same price" with uncertainty we kept pondering what we were going to get but then here comes another stock person with actual boxes of jams on her cart. We asked her and she said "absolutely they're all on sale at the same price" So we took it. So once we arrived to the cash. The teller runs the items through (Julie) and as i noticed the prices going up at regular price of $6 plus change. i kindly let her know that it should be $4.99. She responds with "well some of them are running up as $5.99" I'm like well they're all $4.99 with card and that 2 stock staff said they were $4.99. She immediately responds with "they don't know what they're talking about. Then she asks for a price check. The girl kindly comes over with the tag and as Julie grabs it from her she says "that's not the right tag" the girl says they're all on special at the same price. So now she holds up the line and has this attitude and i'm like what's the issue here?! You just said you're going to give me that price anyway and now you're making an issue out of this. She was cold and handed me my bill and didn't even look at us or say thank you or goodbye. My girlfriend was like what was her problem. The issue i had with this is. Don't call out your staff in a negative light to customers. If you have anything to say. You do it after shift or in the office. Things happen. Mistakes happen but to blame and or point fingers or mock other employees to customers it's unprofessional let alone the lack of usually warm feeling we get when we go there. Rant over!

This Choices Market was once an interesting, progressive store. Now is somewhat like the competition, Sobeys or Thrifty Foods, with some overpriced stock. Yes the help desk is near the front of the store. This Choices, doesn't have a public toilet, but they allow the use of their back room toilet, for employees, behind the produce preparation area.

Choices South Surrey is a great place to shop. To this day the cashiers sanitize the belt. NO ONE else does that! Everyone wears a mask - employees AND customers! Clean store, real social distancing & Great Service. It's not Superstore cheap, but it's not Superstore, or Fruiticana or.... Keep up the great job, Choices!

Check the expiry date! Bought whole bean coffee and realized it was 5 months past the expiry date. I wonder what else is left on the shelf past due. For a pricey grocery store I would expect more.

Be very careful if you order from the store. A sale ended on September 2 and I placed an order for 10 bottles of a product on September 1 at a sale price. I was told they did not have that many bottles in store but would let me know when they came in and I would receive them at the advertised sale price. Because they apparently changed distributors , they were not able to fill my order for several weeks but when they called me to say they were in I was assured I would get them at the sale price. However when I came to pick up my product they refused to give it to me at the sale price. At first it was offered to me at six dollars more and after some back-and-forth comments they said they would give it to me for two dollars more. However that was a total of $20 more than I was prepared to pay. The promised sale price was refused. The document showing my order did not show the price at which it was to be sold and it was not honored. Very lacking in PR. $120 order refused because I refused to pay $20 more than promised. I will of course will never shop there again.

I used to do my shopping at Donald's market, which I still love. I found however they don't have a great selection of meats or fish there. I went to choices and they had everything - healthy foods selection, organic, great selection of meats (they had bison). It is a good mix of a organic store and safeway.

I LOVE Choices on King George Hwy in White Rock, it warms my heart just to think of it. The good set up of the store, the friendly staff is great, The old fashioned, cozy, homey feeling is the only reason I shop there. I rather pay a few dollars more and come away with a good feeling in my heart and a smile on my face, an almost therapeutic experience that lasts the rest of the day. I abhor certain stores and avoid them like plague, even if they hand out freebies I don't want to see them even from a distance. I don't want to name them here, but these are the stores that ooze a warehouse feeling and that "I don't care who you are" attitude and I also suspect they don't treat their employees well at all, they sure look indifferent. So for me shopping is not just about selection or prices, it is emotional issue too. The only thing I don't like about Choices is the high price of fruits and vegetables. I also want to see a lot more locally grown food, eco-friendly merchandise and handiwork of local artisans, like on the island and in Victoria.

Clueless cashiers and customer service. Tried to use a $100 bill at 1pm on a Saturday and was told they couldn't break it. When I called after to ask about it I was told I could have gone to customer service, but this was never communicated in store, instead they got flustered and just said 'sorry can't help you'. The cashier did at least try to go get it broken at customer service but for some reason they wouldn't give her change for it, completely silly.

Choices Markets are similar to Whole Foods, but we thought it was much better. We found all sorts of gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options. The produce selection was outstanding, with many fruits and veggies that I had never before seen. Can't wait to go back.
