We love this place, wish they open a store in Victoria! Amazing staff! They go the extra mile in customer service. The meat selection is outstanding. We usually get a sandwich made for our trip back on the ferry. They have quite an array of other products too! Especially nice to give during the holiday season or have on hand for entertaining. This place is my absolute favourite lunch spot at the mall. Family run, super friendly, really take the effort to be personable with their customers. The selection is amazing, the quality is always good, and the price is SO reasonable for what they sell. Get a sandwich for lunch, you wont be dissapointed.

A friendly German style deli with some treats if you like European foods. Fresh meats, fresh sausages, fresh knockwursts, also, lots of imported European packaged foods you cannot get elsewhere. Good lunchtime takeout sandwiches. Their rye bread is excellent.

Great selection of European foods. Deli products are delicious and the owner comes out to talk to customers all the time. I usually come for the paté and smoke ribs, wieners, cabbage and pickles. The north american variety of these are really way too far from the European ones that I grew up on. Definitely recommanded.

My favourite German delicatessen store! I've been a customer for over 25 years. They have the best sausages...all prepared the way of the old country. They also have items that are imported for Germany, such as Spatzle, chocolates and other packaged gems. Of course, they have a variety of prepared salads, meats and cuts. The fresh leberkase gets sold out very quickly but is a "must have". The store is very clean and tidy, and the staff is attentive, professional and friendly. Do not miss visiting them.

Well the product is outstanding. So good in fact I have it shipped to me from West Vancouver to Campbell River. My specialty items like smoked goose liverwurst, buntnerfleisch, Lachsschinken, Hausmacher Ring, Tyroler bacon. All available and made by them. The German salami is the best I have tasted. The staff has to be amazing to deal with someone from this far away taking up so much phone time to get an order in and transported. Love this deli !!!

The best dry cured bacon in Vancouver. The spaetzle were slightly disappointing (could have done without the nutmeg). Good place to pick up some of the harder to find Euro foods too.

Be careful when you see items that are on sale because that usually means that its past the best before date. I have never come across a deli that sells (on sale) items that are past their best before or expiry dates. I visited this store few months back and when i walked in i was so happy to see all the products from Europe that i have missed so much. I was very disappointed when i got home and tried one of the sweets i bought. The taste was just so awful and when i checked the date It was past the best before date. Then i looked at all the items and found half of my purchase was past the best before date. When i contacted the store, the owner was just so rude and was quick to give me a lecture about the difference of things being expired and best before. So rude but in a polite way (if that makes sense). He did mention that when he has things on sale that its always past the best before date. It would have been nice had they told me at the cashier. For me its more important having something that tastes good and the way it should rather than saving a few cents. Also the salmi that i bought tasted really bad too, and that one didn’t have a date so who knows how long its been sitting there for. So i ended up throwing most of it in the garbage.

Top-notch selection of European grocery imports, bread, and unique finds for foodies. Not to mention all of their speciality in-house made charcuterie, meat pies, goulash, potato salad just to name a few. They also have a daily hot soup/stew selection, as well as a create-your-own sandwich offering. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make this long-standing North Shore deli a real treat.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I don't think I have ever been to a place where the customer service is outstanding. I love every staff member that works there and the manager is the sweetest person ever. I think amazing is an understatement for how delicious the food is there. This is always my go to place for all my deli needs and their sandwiches-soups there are to die for. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know and I have gotten all my sandwich lover friends hooked on that place.
