I saw their Instagram and have been waiting to try their pastries. Today, I was so happy to have found time to come here. They offered me samples of their cakes and other pastries. The staff was friendly and everything looked like it just came out of the oven. I tried their Black Forest Cake and it was better than all the ones I have tried at other bakeries. The size was double what you get elsewhere. I love the layering within the fluffy dark chocolate, cherries, and cream, well balanced and not too sweet. The Spinach Feta Strudel was very rich in flavor and very delicious. Unfortunately, the mini almond croissant didn't make a good impression on me. If you like to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is the place to go!

I ordered around 20 different assorted items for a COVID friendly office party. Bisou helped my vision come to life by individually packing each pastry in their own containers and went the extra mile to specially make the tiramisu for me (which they normally only serve on specific days). Everyone absolutely loved the pastries and agrees that it was all absolutely delicious! Their customer service is really good as well. Highly recommend it!

Cute shop with super sweet staff. Everything wasn't overly sweet. I liked the coffee cheesecake the best. Their cakes are too dense, though (roll cake and opera cake). Tbh it didn't taste so fresh... The cream used also tend to be too heavy for my liking. The donut didn't taste super special. The muffin is too dense and not very moist. Try the cheesecake, though! You won't regret the coffee cheesecakes I promise ????????I wouldn’t go fir the cakes again. They taste not so fresh.

First of all, the service was fantastic, that's not why I'm giving it three stars. So, the baked products look amazing, but we felt they were lacking in some key areas. We had tried six separate baked goods. The chocolate croissant were a bit dry, and felt as if they were missing adequate butter. The tops of the croissant were not flaky, as is typical. The cheese and mint croissant, as well as the coconut chocolate ganache croissant, were all suffering from the same problem. We felt the need to microwave everything, which honestly shouldn't be necessary. Freshness was lacking. We purchased at 10:45am, so were hoping for fresh tasting goods. Hopefully the owners read this review, if only so they can improve in these areas. Would love to try again if these aspects are improved on.

Bison bake House of the best bakeries in Vancouver. Great pastries and friendly faces. I followed them on Instagram and decided to visit - their cakes and pastries looked exactly like they did online. They let my husband and I test the NY cheesecake and to our surprise they went above and beyond when we went to check out and gifted us a piece! I’m still smiling. Thanks guys :)

Bisou Bakery has the most delicious selections of all kinds of baked goods. Their almond croissant melts in your mouth, the muffins are loaded with all sorts of yummy bits of chocolate, nuts or fruits on every bite. I could say many more things about their products, but one of the best parts of this place is it’s service. They treat you with yummy samples and even a complementary coffee! Service is top notch!

This is such an excellent place to go for tasty pastry and delicious desserts. Ordered one of their Stollen Loafs this year (2020) and ended up buying three because they are soooo good!!! Must have for the christmas season. Staff in store is always great and you can try so much of their products because they always offer tastings.

I've been to Bisou Bakehouse on 3 separate occasions so far. Each time I go, I'm always acknowledged and greeted by someone behind the counter. They offer samples of different pies but I'm not really a pie person so I decline. However I am a fan of their delicious croissants! I like their almond and chocolate so far. I got some goodies for my family and I was told the pear danish is quite delicious ???? I like how they have a smaller version of their croissants and danish. Sometimes you just don't want to eat a large pastry. It's also a great way to try it out before committing to the regular sized one! I noticed they now have individual slices of black forest cake which I will get on my next visit. Everything is absolutely fresh and tasty so far. The only negative I can think of is that I am not a fan of their pastry box. It comes in one size only and it's awkward to carry around. It's a large, flat box. Since the bottom is wide, it doesn't fit in any of my recyclable bag for me to carry with handles. Maybe they can work on carrying different size boxes. They make recommendations when you are not sure what to get but never overly pushy about it. I enjoy their customer service and products. I will definitely be back for more. Their pastries suit my palate as they are not overly sweet or heavy. I live downtown and don't mind traveling to the north shore for this little gem!

I ordered through Uber eats. I got the Montreal sandwich and the almond croissant. Unfortunately it was just average for me. The baguette was not really a baguette was just a soggy bread and in no way tasted, looked or had the texture of a French baguette. Also in the picture it’s shown cut in half and size is enough for two people, but in reality is just a small sandwich. The almond croissant wasn’t flaky or had the texture what you would call a French croissant. The almonds on top are good and the filling is decent. I can’t speak for the rest of their baked goods as I read some good reviews about their cheese cake and danishes so maybe if it’s your first time go with these items. But if you are looking for French baguettes and croissants I would say try else where.

A welcome edition on the shore. Plenty of parking for quick pickup and unbelievable selection. Its a short walk/bike/drive to the waterfront park and Kings Mill Walk! I am gluten intolerant but had to try it. We sampled apple and pecan pie. International baking with an emphasis on French!

I finally got the chance to go to Bisou and I hate that I waited that long, while at the same time, my eyes get some much bigger than my stomach when I'm there. I got the pain du chocola, raspberry Danish, and the pistachio, cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious and fresh (I went in evening). The staff member who was there helped detail everything that was available (because I wanted everything) and was easily a highlight of the visit. Great compliment to the pastries. Loved it, I will be back although I'm try and make not too often.

Beautiful baked goods and incredibly helpful staff. I rang to see if they still had croissants left for Christmas but they’d all sold out for those baked that morning. Instead they offered either frozen ones I could bake with instructions or for them to bake the dozen we needed fresh. They were ready exactly when they said they would be and are the best I’ve found in Vancouver after 9 years searching. Thank you so much to the Bisou team for saving a Christmas Day tradition.

Lovely neighbourhood bakery. The pastries are light, crisp, and very tasty. Everything we tried was excellent. A variety of cakes and pastries and breads. Service was good and everything was surprisingly reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again. Parking was plentiful. Located off Pemberton behind the Cactus Club.
