We have been buying from McIntosh before they had the store. Great family and loved there dogs so much we got a Boerboel. Back to the meat. We are extremely particular about where our meat comes from and how the animals are treated. McIntoch does everything right, from how they raise the animals, treat the animals, feed the animals and the customer service is spot on. Best butcher shop for grass fed beef, pork, poultry and fish from Kitchener to Listowel and surroundings.

The best meat matches the wonderful people to make a great place to shop. I can't wait to try the frozen gluten free lasagna! Update: I tried the lasagna and it's great. I keep in in the freezer and use it instead of ordering out on those days cooking isn't in the cards

We like buying our meat at a local butcher shop rather than a supermarket. Had whay we were looking for (sometimes not at a smaller shop), excellent quality, fresh and not overpriced. Friendly even. Enjoyed the visit and kee coming back.

This butcher shop has great variety and is soo welcoming! Everything from beef to fish and all sorts in-between. I like the different options and finding new local products there (try the Chutney and the Snack Sticks!). The owners really know their stuff and truly cares about where the products come from.

Got a Christmas turkey, some cheese and eggs. Really good and good prices, I'm so happy I gave a small butcher shop a chance. Now grocery store meat and eggs just don't cut it. Highly recommended! Adding to this 6 months later: so I just got the best lamb of my life from McIntosh's. I made skewers with it. I love this place. What have I been missing.

We bought a whole chicken and 2 packs of ground beef grain fed. Wow. So so so so good!!!! Even the beef when I was cooking had a better smell! The whole chicken was a fantastic size. Fed our family of 4 and we had leftovers for a couple days. I will be coming back for more delicious meat! Also customer service was great when I went to pick up my order!! Thank you!!

You may pay a bit more for your meat, but you can't find anything fresher. Bbq's steaks on the weekend, turn out moist, and there we no left overs.
