I was looking forward to getting my lunch from here and was disappointed with the overall quality of the food and experience that I had here. The panini I got was good but left on the grill for too long. The cannoli and tart that I got were not good. The workers seemed stressed. One of them swore audibly, under their breathe when a big order was placed. No judgement, I get it, but time and place.

Great meats and sandwiches I like there Montreal smoked meat sandwish. The large sandwish we share its massive. You will need extra napkins . A little messy but id say its worth it. The smoked meats are above average with good flavors They have a clean store and friendly staff. I suggest this store a very good. Great job

Amazing sandwich! So I saw how busy this place was on my first visit to the Tangier mall. Walked in and ordered the Italian mix cut sandwich and shared with my mom. Their cannolis are dreamy. If you're in the area, skip the big name places and go here!

Montreal smoked meat sandwich, awesome. Get the small, unless you are really hungry. The service is good, it takes time to make the sandwiches. If it's busy you will need to be patient, but the food is worth it.

My mother and I went to buy a sandwich and cannolis. What grossed us out is when we got to the car and unwrapped everything there were long hairs in the sandwich. The cleanness was not to standard especially through COVID-19, no hair nets. The lady never washed her hands when handling the food, while touching counters & equipment, etc. The cannolis were fresh and good but the sandwich due to the hairs we found it was disposed and we left hungry and disappointed. I would suggest the employees to wear hair nets and plastic gloves when handling food, which wasn’t done especially under the circumstances.

I've wanted to try imperial meats Montreal smoked meat sandwich for sooooo long but it seems like we are always in a rush or on a mission in the mall. finally we were able to try it and it was pretty disappointing. First off, its alarming how filthy the place is. I didnt realize initially because I had smoked meat tunnel vision, so ordered first and took a closer look as I waited 20 mins for my sandwich to be ready. Here are some pics of my experience. The sandwich tasted great and I didnt die from food poisoning so I'll give 3 stars which I think is being pretty generous.

I had Montreal smoked sandwich. It was amazing. It was with cheese and toasted. The quality of meat here is so high. The turkey sandwich with tomato bread is irresistible.

I love this place. In fact, it's really the only reason I drive here from Barrie. The sandwiches are fantastic and specifically the smoked meat...which is carved right in front of you. Come hungry.

Messed up two easy orders. 1. I asked for a turkey sandwich, got chicken. 2. Husband paid extra for cheese, and they didn't include it. 3. I got very literally two slices of chicken on my sandwich. There's no way that was 8 ounces (220ish grams). I probably got 10grams worth. 4. I asked for tomato bread and got normal.

I had a regular coffee and small turkey panini. The coffee was bold and flavourful and the sandwich was surprisingly very good. The large sandwich can feed 2. Worth the money for sure.

Oh my goodness I had one of the best sandwiches ever here. Toasted turkey and swiss on tomato bread with pickles, hot peppers lettuce, tomato and sandwich dressing. It fed 2 people and didn't break the bank. Not to mention the service was fantastic from the girl who worked there. I wasn't even going in for a sandwich until she said hi. Her recommendation made for a great lunch. Try this place, everyone loves it!

Superb sandwich location. The Montréal Smoked Meat sandwich is fantastic. Also the large Paninis are great (very good value, compared to the small one). The sausages on a bun are amazing as well - try the spicy one.

do not recommend eating here, coming from someone who worked in the establishment for about 2 years. The owners do not care about health and safety, and more so only care about making money. the employees are told to sell food that is over the expiry date, and other food that has mould or bugs on it.

Really friendly service but unfortunately qlty has gone down. ALOT! Paid 35$ for 3 sandwiches there was barley any meat on the sandwich and toppings We used to come here pre covid and my husband and I could barley each finish our sandwich, now each had ours and left still feeling hungry. They used to put a lot of meat and now barley any. Will not return unfortunately makes me really sad because this used to be one of my favourite sandwich shops!

Finding this place was the most pleasant surprise! Their tomato focaccia is to die for, if you get the prosciutto sandwich ask for that bread. Their cured meats are definitely worth the travel!

Above and beyond service! Having no gluten free bread options, the ladies offered an iceberg lettuce wrap option instead. Even tho they were super busy, they took the time to make it work for me. It was DELICIOUS! My Mom also had a sandwich that was a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

I loved 'The Butcher Shoppe All-Beef Salami' they sold BEFORE Covid. It was the best Salami I've had in a long time. It had the label with the Butcher Shoppe logo and ingredients listed; the proper way a company sells food products (first and last photo below - it's being blocked). Post Covid, July 27, 2021, I purchased the Salami and got an unwrapped salami with no name, no ingredients, dark and dry - like it has been frozen during the lockdown. Such a disappointing experience and disgusting meat. I will never buy anything there again - until it is properly packaged from The Butcher Shoppe. (Photos below have been blocked to view).

mother and daughter work very hard behind the counter, both friendly, the daughter is very cheerful and upbeat. Portion size is awesome and prices are fair. Pannini’s are delicious every time I’ve been there. There is a bit of a wait, but that’s because they are so good.

I do really love this place. I come here a lot because they have great sandwiches and cured meats. The biggest concern at the moment is that the employee is wearing gloves and a face shield but NOT a mask. That doesn't protect or minimize the risk to the consumer if the employee is potentially infected. It just take one outbreak and your name is tainted and store closed down. Disappointed in the lack of care. Management needs to step up. Remember.... your employees handle food!

Bought the kolbasa and Salami. Both with good flavor. To bad they are full of water. Easy sign is that within hours of cutting a piece off the skin starts to get loose on the remaining. Both did this. Also, large chunks of fat in the kolbasa which should be lean and ham chuncks. Regardless, will try other products from this location.

Love the sandwiches here, spicey pepperoni sticks are delicious too. One concern is the variety of condiments to put on your sandwiches but all in all great place.

Good food. Inconsistent service. First visit, staff was able to cater to a no bun option on the sausages (serve with lettuce tomato). Second visit, staff gave us just a sausage (no lettuce or tomato). Supervisor at the time did not do anything. Staff said "too bad". Anyone with a gluten allergy, becareful! You may not be taken care of.

It was one of my favorite places to get a sandwich...NOT anymore. Paid $10.50 for the sandwich that literally had 6 small paper thin slices of meat. Before COVID the sandwiches were big and tasty. Now, don't waste your money!

We went to the Imperial Meats in Georgian Mall and it was terrible service, we waited 10 mins to get a sandwich which was cold, and the two girls working there were not getting along at all, 2 small sandwiches 21.00 and will never go back !!!
