I actually ended up buying some sausage & steaks to try out was very impressed by the quality and taste. I come once a year and can say this is my go-to store when buying meat. Great vibe and environment!!

First trip here... And couldn't wait to get home to try so yea. Super delicious beef teriyaki Jerky. It is sweet but a slight BBQ flavour, the meat is cooked super soft and chewy, but if you don't like your meat sweet, I wouldn't suggest this for you. However I would say, try it once. Amazing guy .. helping out and giving advice on what might be the best choice...

To start off the customer service is outstanding, they are always happy to help and give their recommendations with full honesty. In general you will always feel welcome and want to come back again. The product is just as good, one of the best quality meats I have had, they have the best cuts you can think of. everything is properly vacuum sealed, clean, and fresh. If you are in the GTA definitely check this gem out, specially if you are looking for quality halal meat which can be hard to come by.

Before ordering from Adams Natural Foods, I was not entirely convinced that antibiotic-free meat was going to be much different than regular old supermarket meat. Boy was I wrong! Besides it being succulent and flavorful when cooked, the best way to describe the taste is clean and fresh. Another reason why I love ordering from this company is because they have fresh ajwa dates all year round basically. And they really are fresh not old and dried having sat for 2 years in some warehouse across the Atlantic. The fact that I can have their growing grocery selection delivered right to my door is obviously fantastic. May Allah put barakah in their business as they're really down-to-earth people as well and have great customer service whenever they come to my door. My only sore point is that they sell Nestle Water because it is an evil corporation.

Bought a lot. I had no idea halal and organic went together. I've thought about asking a butcher before, but chose to mind my own business. Prices are acceptable. Staff is polite and friendly (as Muslims should be! - which was a pleasant surprise, to see friendly and polite Muslims nowadays.) Will update after we eat all the chicken, lamb, and hot dogs - if it's extremely delicious, i'll make a YouTube video. I found the store by searching google for "organic steak near me". Really, I am still surprised organic can be halal.

Just dropped by today to check out the store. Amazing, clean, modern looking location. Even though I told the staff that I wasn’t buying anything today and was just there to take a look, they were super nice and accommodating to all my questions and concerns. Ended up speaking to them for about 10 minutes, they spoke about the inception of their business and why it was so important to them. Customer service was absolutely on point, 11/10. I have yet to actually try anything from their selection but based on all of the previous 5 star reviews, I’m sure it’ll all be amazing when I drop by in the next couple of days. Went here for the first time today and I’m very impressed. Huge selection of organic chicken. I bought a half chicken and two breasts, simply added a homemade rub and baked it, and it might be the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. I can’t reccomend it enough. My 1 year old started to cry when it ran out, he loved it. Also a huge selection of hormone free grass fed beef. I will be returning in a few days.

I didn't give it 5 stars because I wish to purchase fresh, not frozen meat from time to time. However, I will shop with them at least once a week for meat an eggs. You can't go wrong because they present us with halal, organic, ethical, antibiotics and hormone free meat and eggs. After having a good experience with shopping here previously for ribs, I decided to try the AAA Angus Prime Rib Steak and I am extremely disappointed. I cooked it medium rare but it felt like eating rubber. Most of it was inedible due to the chewiness, which should not happen when cooked medium rare. As I sit here with a sore jaw, all I can say is that I am very disappointed with my last experience and do not plan to buy again

There are several reasons why I shop from Adam’s ! First of all, the store is super super clean. Whenever I visit their store, it always smells fresh instead of meat ! Moreover, the employees are very polite and friendly. They know that I am not native English speaker;therefore, they spend extra time to explain me whenever I ask any questions about their products. I want to give a shout out to Naveen (I hope I got his name right), really one of the coolest and most helpful dudes you will talk with. Anyways, halal is a term being used way too loosely today, as is kosher; animals being fed genetically modified feed, injected with who knows what, then being herded in droves to get them packed for the market as soon as possible — some places even have machines that kill chickens instead of people in order to hurry the process. For food nowadays to be halal, it must also be Tayyib (Pure). During the prophet's (saw) time, all these synthetic feeds, products and junk foods that cause health complications did not exist and everything was organic, the way God intended it to be. As an example, I'd never label anything containing artificial colours, flavours, preservatives and genetically modified oils as halal, ever — that is going to mess up your body and your childrens' as well. I know with these guys, their organic chickens are awesome and raised properly. I've been getting the soup bones to make bone broth, and it always comes out great, and the chicken skin you can use to roast with some salt (DELICIOUS!!) Gone are the days of guessing, we finally have halal organic, the closest we can get to tayyib, in Toronto. Thanks guys, from Muslims who are concerned for the well-being of the people.

Bought jerky, jerky sticks, sausages and the Angus burgers. So far had tried the jerky and stocks which are delicious. Both the teriyaki and spicy jerky stick is a fave in our home. Teriyaki was not overly sweet as I thought just the right touch of everything. The original is perfect for those 3pm sugar crash cravings. Staff was so welcoming and friendly. This store is neatly tucked away in the corner of Markham and Ellesmere. A boutique feeling yet very sanitary store and operations. Customer service is exemplary as the recommendations from their staff keep flowing or should I say keep me salivating. They do know their meats. Quality meats that I can rely on with my eyes closed. I've been a customer of theirs for sometime and would highly recommend their product lines as I've tried most of them. Its something I would always recommend to anyone in any season and more importantly for those who are into good quality, ethically raised meats and is traceable. This is not your typical butcher shop. If you love meat the way I do, you won't look to any other place. With BBQ and camping season around the corner, I recommend the rib eye steak, the sausages, breakfast sausages and beef jerky! Oh and lets not forget the beef patties.

In all my years, I have yet to see a halal meat store like this. I’ve been searching for a place like Meathead for years. Halal meat should not just describe meat that was slaughtered in a particular way. It should also mean that the animals were raised free-run and raised without the use of antibiotics and added hormones—and that is exactly what Meathead provides us, alhamdulilah. We no longer have to choose between halal meat and organic meat. It is in such a convenient location too! The store is extremely clean and has a modern twist to it. Thus far, I’ve tried their Adams Natural™️ Angus ribeye steak and their premium Jamaican beef patties. I will definitely be back soon inshallah. Too expensive, most of the products are from Switzerland, but they say it's from Canadian farm. Organic yogurt is $2.79 all over the country except Adam's store. They charge you 3.75 wow..

I been looking for halal beef jerky for a while now so i was more then happy to find out Meathead sells them, the beef jerky is a little pricey form what i'm used too but it taste fresh and the teriyaki one taste amazing so it's worth it and i'm sure they price everything fairly, they are kind people. their other meat is amazing, their bacon is made with real beef,best halal bacon i ever had. from Gabby - Oshawa

Extremely happy to have found this place. My husband and I have gone over a handful of times to pick up various meat products and have yet to be disappointed. It is a gem that they offer organic product alongside the other products as it is rare to find meat both halal and organic. I definitely recommend checking them out if you haven't already.

I was looking forward to try out this place. Their products seemed convenient for quick, good quality meals, especially with all the positive google reviews. We tried 3 things from here: 1) Angus beef burgers (the regular ones as well as the jalapeño cheddar) and my husband said they were the worst burgers he has ever tried. 2) Korean short ribs for my mom, she said the meat wouldn’t soften no matter what and extremely fatty compared to quality ribs from the butcher shop. It seems like it was just low quality meat 3) Spicy beef patties were very tasty. Everyone who tried it said the crust and filling were both very good. But I wouldn’t go back just for these. I also highly doubt that they make them on their own. One important thing to note is that this place is not a butcher shop. They get their meat from different butchers and then process it as a reseller which I was informed by the individual who prepared our online order when we went to pick up in-store. Overall, very disappointing, but seemed like a great concept. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Purchased the beef chuck burgers. I am not a fan of beef burgers because of the smell and taste but I am now committed to buying only meathead beef chuck burgers going forward. I would say for halal beef burgers which are lightly seasoned btw (salt and pepper) you will no doubt be impressed. Sometimes they are out of stock so check on website before making the trip.

My husband and I have purchased all our meat here the past couple months (chicken breast, marinated wings, marinated skewers, steaks, ground beef etc.) And the quality is unmatched. You get what you pay for - HIGH QUALITY product that just isn't available at your local halal butcher. Excellent quality of meat and service. This has become our go-to shop for meat. The meat is vacuum-sealed so super fresh when we use it.
