This Butcher Shop belongs to the category of Asian grocery store.
Nice variety of what you'd hope to find. Good selection of frozen, fresh, and dry products.
Good market w/ different varieties of Asian products
best Chinese supermarket in Saskatoon
I have bought fruits and vegetables, always fresh.
Can't find certain things, unless you come here.
I can almost always find the harder to find items I need here. Friendly staff and fresh produce as well.
Tons of variety, always fresh and new stock coming in.
Much bigger than Asian store on 8th street. There are more meat, vegetables and some cooked food.
Lots of products from different countries.
Awesome selection
Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Asian or anyone interested in Asian cuisine should visit this market. There are floor markers and Covid-19 protocols. Of course it was quite busy on a Saturday and parking was limited at the front of the store. I believe that one could park in the bank. Very spacious and clean! I mean it even smelled cleaned, sometimes when you enter there's a certain smell to a store. The staff was quite helpful and there was huge selection of tofu, a bonus since my son loves tofu.
not enough asians tbh.
Great supermarket full of lots of popular brands from China, Japan, Korea, and more. Very big and organised. I imagine it is the go to supermarket for Asian-Canadian families who want familiar products. I have taken a star off because I felt put off by the big open buckets of raw meat and fish.
Overall a good store and the only place in town to get decent dry mushrooms, seaweed (Wakame, Kelp, etc.). Also a nice place for teas palm oil-free noodles, and rice noodles. The downside, it smells funny.
#1, BBQ pork is the best
It's fresh
Great selection of Asian food and ingredients, including a fine butcher shop. Give yourself some extra time to find what you are looking for if you are not a regular, and expect fun suprise finds.
The store is good with various Asian food. However the customer service in casher is really bad. The cashier didn’t say one word even I say “thanks”. She looked at me just like I did something really bad on her. It happened all the time.
I came from Regina and I feel this Asian market is dirty and smells bad compared to the ones we have. Also service was bad. The lady who bagged my stuff just threw the bagged items towards me and walked away.
Good asian products
Friendly with great selection
Good place to shop if you like to buy Asian food
Absolutely love this place for the little cravings and certain needs in my household such as jalapenos. Staff are kind and polite to customers and are following COVID-19 guidelines accordingly!
It's got a great selection of products that are hard to find elsewhere. It's my go to shop for pork belly and pork hock.
This is the only place where I find the meat for my Latin meals. Is better to go on Wednesdays for the meat. Also, the mushrooms are the best
Great choices. Excellent dumplings and desserts
A very well stocked and well rounded Asian (particularly Chinese) supermarket. All the spices and condiments you need for Asian cooking can be found here, as well as flavor packs for making soup or hot pot. Their frozen food selection is just ok, and it seems the stock does not turnover as quickly relative to other goods, so many items have sat in the freezer for a while. I wish their frozen tofu and fish ball inventory can be improved. Their selection of noodles and instant noodles is quite excellent, and you can find great prices for Korean or Chinese varieties very difficult to otherwise come across. There is also a good selection of vegetables that might be harder to find elsewhere.
only place you'll find bbq meat to take home, best selection of asian foods in saskatoon. clean, good produce. good prices.
I wish I'd known of this place sooner. It beats the prices of many other Asian groceries. :)
Does anyone know if they sell Koji culture?

(Translated) Labeled article of the day Overview of the ruins of the Château de Beauregard (2020). Two protective devices and a flag are installed on its foundations. The Château de Beauregard is a ruined castle located on a rocky outcrop at the entrance to the Val d'Anniviers, in the territory of Chippis in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. Of unknown origin and utility, it has belonged to the Rarogne family since the sixteenth century. In 1387, the castle was damaged by the soldiers of Amédée VII in retaliation for an uprising of the de Rarogne against the bishop of Sion, Edward of Savoy-Achaia. Thirty years later, it was destroyed in a fire from the consequences of the Rarogne affair. Archaeological excavations between 2008 and 2011 have revealed its perimeter and its ruins. The castle had a house served by a spiral staircase, a tower whose usefulness is not certain and a circular cistern unique in Valais, all surrounded by an enclosure. Access from the trail was previously ensured by a wooden footbridge and has been done since 2017 by means of a short passage in via ferrata. I love the selection. I love the pricing! Seriously, a lot of places that bring in specialty items charge through the nose. Not here! Beyond the great selection, there is also the fresh butcher who offers amazing tertiary cuts at cut rate prices.
It's good
Has a great selection of Asian foods
We went here to
Good food and excellent produce
A little more expensive than the other Asian markets in town, but there's a wealth of the 'the wobbly bits': liver, tripe, kidney, sweetbreads. They stock BBQ pork and BBQ duck on select days as well. Produce is in good shape for the most part.
Love this place.
Everything you need from an Asian grocer and more.
Good place
So happy, to see this store in this new location. Big step up, congratulations.
Seems like a great selection for a small grocery store. Most items had English descriptions as well.
A good selection of Asian foods that you wouldn't find in your average grocery store. Staff are usually friendly but don't necessarily speak much English, which is unfortunate when lots of their items have no English on the packaging. And they often are missing some of the more standard English canadian foods that you'd be able to find at a convenience store.
They don't now what Natto is (on the phone) so assume they don't have any.
Their pricing on some items was not reasonable some times i feel they take advantage on some items esp. Those items that you can not find here in canada
Pricey Asian store. But will still buy from there cos there's nowhere else in the city I know
Found fermented kimchi and miso paste❤
(Translated) This city has a relatively large Asian supermarket, with a lot of frozen food and fresh vegetables. The products inside are also relatively fresh. (Original) 本市比较大的亚洲超市了,很多冷冻食品和新鲜蔬菜。里面的产品也比较新鲜,强推~
Staffs are so helpful
Yes they sell Kathy's perogies here. There were only two types offered (and neither were the Saskatoon berry). They accept credit cards.
Missing some stuff. Price is decent.
Amazing selection. Parking can be tough but it is the only place in town to get certain Asian cuisine items.
Great, exotic choices all in one place!
Very Asian, it's like stepping into China.
Lots of good options and hard to find products
Good place to buy some Asian food like dumplings
Has that traditional Chinese store vibe. Staff are friendly, prices are good but parking really sucks on the weekend and the lot should be cleaned up as the outside looks a little shabby.
It was super! Thanks for asking :)
Lots of selections of Asian spice . Great place to shop
As a Chinese, glad to find lots of cheap fresh vegetables. The transport is also convenient for me (Transit Route 17)
(Translated) Everything is too complete! Not expensive (Original) 东西太齐全了吧!还不贵
You can buy many of Asian food in this store. Basically, the price is fair.
Very accomodating staff! Love it
I absolutely love this place. Great deals, friendly staff, and delicious food.
Probably the best South East Asian Market in Saskatoon.
It was ok. Lots of variety of stuff. Relatively easy to find what your looking for.
Large selection from various parts of Asia. Highly recommend going here if you want fresh ramen noodles, too.
All I can say is they have alot of great food here
Very friendly and helpful staff.
A lot of stuff I can't find at the other Asian grocery stores can be found here. The only place in the city that I know that carries Japanese mayo and okonomiyaki sauce
Great had everything I was looking for!
they have everything!
Asian grocery store with a very large selection and really friendly staff.
A variety of asian selections, bit hygiene in meat section isn't great. Need to use gloves when preparing meat and use clean hands for packaging
Went there for some jdm drinks left with a box full of items I'll come back once I run out
Great place for a wide variety of groceries. When you go in, don't assume everyone speaks English. It is understandable so be patient. The produce is excellent, the service is more than friendly and its just a great place for any specialty item you might need for that dish you have always wanted to try.
Better Chinese/Asian grocery store in Saskatoon.
For all your Chinese, filipino, korean needs. Not a lot of japanese stuff though.
All asian stuffs, Thai, Vietnam, Philippine, and China
Good selection of noodles, but the staff are quite unhelpful and dismissive
Great for Saskatoon.
Excellent service and lots of products with prices very cheap, I love this Market !!
It's dankalicious
It has improved a lot since I was last there. Many more products to choose from now.
For all your Asian market needs. Awesome prices
Good place to get various type of fishes and cheaper seafood.
Amazing store. They have everything from import snacks to fresh baked goods, and everything on between! Staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is very unique in a good way!
So messy. Arrow directions on the floor were confusing.
Nice place to find foreigners traditional food.
This market has a wide variety of Asian products. We love purusing the aisles for our next 'new to us' treat and there is plenty to choose from. This market obviously covers a large selection of regular Asian cuisine cooking products as well as snacks. Definitely a great stop if your looking for a larger selection of products from Asian Markets.
Love this store it is my favorite place to shop if I need to quickly pick up some groceries. the fresh produce is very affordable and great quality as well as an excellent selection for the small space. They also have some of the best prices on meats and frozen Asian dishes. They have a unique selection of snacks and when compared to the other Asian markets in town they have by far the cheapest prices for the same items.
Nice selection of spices and meats
Love it here. The prices are good despite having to import the Asian items from far away places. Very wide range of items too.
Great Chinese food selection.
Great butcher counter
Great for Asians
A good place to buy asian products!
It's nice to buy grocery items
We got our grocery asian items that we need in this store.
Cheap deals
Fresh produce and cheap prices
Good place for cheap fish
Just okay! Unwelcoming atmosphere. Probably, my expectations are hight.
(Translated) Saskatoon's largest East Asian food supermarket, things are more comprehensive! (Original) 萨斯卡通最大的东亚食品超市,东西比较全!
An abundance of products and produce in stock.
Almost everything you expect.
A variety of Chinese product. Good service in both English and Chinese.
They've got a hot food bar where these two lovely ladies have hot and fresh-made Filipino food (delicious) and all kinds of fresh food, frozen food, and snacks
Fantastic selection of Offal, they have snout, liver, kidney, tripe, feet (of all shapes and sizes) and much more. Staff is very friendly and the selection is excellent. Sometimes the vegetables selection is a little thin and/or not quite on the fresh side. Highly recommended.
Dead place .. The place smells bad and some of the products are expired
Great place. You can find items from your hom country. I found the grated casava and some fish from home
One of the most popular Asian market in Saskatoon. You could find 70% daily require Asian style food here, and you may find what you need specific items in this market. For all Asian markets in Saskatoon, they all provides 10-15% or more specific items which provides only from this store. I always find some new snack or special food here which i have never tried. Also, the shop keepers and workers in here are very nice, I would have great chat with them during shopping. Hopefully you could find what you need in Asian market.
Great little place to find Filipino food, etc..
Wide variety. Helpful staff. Great prices.
Store smells like unsanitary slaughter house, rotting meat. Mouse, pee and poop on sacks of rice! Bought noodle packs thinking they were ok because they were wrapped in plastic, got them home only to notice holes in the side from mice! they frequently sell expired goods. Super Gross Asian Market!
ALL IS GOOD
Well stocked on many Asian food items, fresh, frozen and dry.
Good place with lots of stuff but the service Quality is really low. Some of cashiers don’t even say a word or look at you. I’ve been there for couple times the same cashiers would always provide bad service.
Great selection of Asian goodies, friendly staff, not a very good parking space as you have to turn around and wait for parking space when it’s busy.
Great little place seams to have all the things you need all in one little place at a reasonable cost
Best Chinese supermarket in Saskatoon (still expecting a T&T though...)
Great bbq for a quick fix
good
decent amount of stuff but somewhat inconvenient location
Always something delicious waiting for you at the super fresh Asian market. Stocking many items that are not available in most grocery chain stores, the market will tantalize your taste buds. The parking lot is always dicey to get in and out of if you are driving to the market so I would recommend parking on 12th street to avoid the headache.
Don't know anything about Asian markets but I did like shopping here and trying new things.
Here can buy Asian seasonings, lotus root, bean sprouts, leek, LAOGANMA,the most important is can use WeChat and ZHIFUBAO to pay!
Good Chinese food store
This place was great when I went. Wonderful selection always good to have in your community.
Friendly service with hood selection of products at reasonable prices
Has a lot of the Lee Kum sauces. Has a lot of the traditional asian foods, even lemongrass. Has a butcher there but looks a little sketch. Staff are very friendly.
(Translated) The most common domestic ingredients are available. The only downside is that the cooking oil is not very good. (Original) 需要的国内常见的食材都能买到,唯一不足的是食用油不太好
Friendly staff, but lack of Thai choices.
Cool Asian store.
Good selection of Asian products available. There are some products on the shelf but no pricing. Asked a worker and he said he didn't know either. They are opening a new location on 8th street. I asked when and the cashier didn't know.
Great selection of Asian products
Well stocked supermart though i didnt get the spice i went llooking for. Attendants are friendly as well.
The best Asian market in Saskatoon, has anything you want, as good as T&T but a little bit cheaper.
It's a good place for someone wanting to try out Asian foods or just making food but it was harder for me to make sense of other foods but overall I recommend it . I forgot to buy seaweed though .
nice shopping place for Chinese and Filipino foods.
I love buying there because I'm able to find ingredients that are not in regular grocery stores. I just wish they are diligent in checking best before dates of the products they sell. This one on the picture was taken 2 weeks ago. Today I checked the same product on their shelves and still found it with December 2018 best before date.
(Translated) Good range of goods (Original) 商品齐全不错
Some decent variety of products you can't get elsewhere in Saskatoon
I love Asian stores this one had great selection!
The lady at the check out was very friendly.
Nice Asian grocery. Good selection
First time visiting the store. Lots of inventory. Found what we were needing. Thank you
Associate was friendly, unlike the first I when their, two older Asian male make me feel like I was not welcome, but the young associate at the meat section was friendly,he shows me the product and explain to me.
(Translated) Chinese people like it (Original) 国人喜欢
Nuclear. Fire. Noodles. Awesome.
If you're looking for ingredients for your Shabu Shabu, this is the place to be.
So much cool stuff! Always busy.
(Translated) Chinese food is diverse, but the price is a bit expensive! (Original) 中国食品品种多样,但价格有点贵!
super wide of sea creatures and Filipino food, you can find the things you want here.
Best Asian supermarket in Saskatoon. With the most categories of Asian foods
Very large selection of Asian products. Frozen items and great produce.
Although not very big, still the best place to find ethnic Asian food in Saskatoon (which doesn't have many options)
Good as usual but .there meat prices are sky high .Went to buy to beef bones for my dogs and they were 2.99 a pound and that's bones!! .for to fresh bones were 18.75 they were big but still .come on little much don't u think ..
This is a great little local supermarket that has a lot of day to day staples as well as a lot of great selection of Asian ingredients at very reasonable prices. I often stop here if I’m in need of a harder to find ingredient or if I need to pick up some staples and don’t want to drive out to another grocery store. I’m sad that they are moving further away to 8th street but I suspect the move will allow them to expand their offerings and continue to give out the same customer service I have come to expect from this location.
Lot of vegetables and fruits
The market seems to focus on the spices and flavours rather than noodles a d vegies and meats and fish (and snacks) But I think if I lived in Saskatoon this could be a go to place for any Asian cooking !
Good place to find those hard-to-find items
Limited selection of items.
They had matcha kit kats
nice people and helpful
Amazing selection of import specialty foods
Great selection
At least two of those words are exaggerated but I'm always excited to walk in and find something new.
Awesome ethnic food grocery. Many things you can't find elsewhere, and very reasonably priced. Unlike some other Eastern Markets, I never felt out of place here as an anglo-saxon. We'll be back!
Such great selection of south east Asian foods.
(Translated) You are always waiting for something tasty in a super fresh Asian market. In the warehouse you will find many products that are not available in most grocery chain stores. found lots of asian foods that other grocery stores dont have. they have fresh vegetables and lots of seafoods.
Good selection and prices. Inventory availability isn't always there for more specific items but otherwise it will.meet most of your needs. Staff are super friendly.
Lots of Asian things near the residential area!
(Translated) Great Chinese supermarket (Original) 很棒的华人超市
Great Asian Groceries..
The vegetables are fresh and there are many Asian ingredients.
