First time I felt obligated to leave a 0% tip. The waiter would come once every 45 minutes or so. We didn't even have water for the first 20 minutes. We asked to keep the pitcher of water, just in case, and somehow we finished the pitcher and didn't receive any more water whatsoever. The meal was not as pictured (wish i took a pic). Salmon was way overcooked. We even had to go ask for the invoice because they forgot us. The whole 1-service took 2 hour (8:22 PM - 10:35 PM). No Covid-19 consideration what-so-ever. Very few staff barely spoke french. They all speak english with a very strong accent, hard for us to understand. To be fair, we asked for more chicken because 4 chunks of chicken is not like the picture at all and they gave us 3 extra chunk each ... but when it arrived the meal was already over. Worst eating experience I got in years.

The owner will try to rob you, he will always change the price each week and he will laugh at you if you ask him why. He tried to overcharge us 3 times. Told us a price for shisha and food and then when we went to pay he tried to add extras and make the prices higher. My daughters saw a tik tok video where they showed this restaurant and they brought you the food to the car. Since curfew and shut down of indoors dinning.... this is like the next best thing. We brought blankets and open our hatchback of our cars and enjoyed the perfectly cooked meal which they brought to us at our car. The service was more than welcoming, they were very humble and happy to see people enjoying their food even if it wasn't at a dinning table. My picky 7 year old enjoyed the food gave it a 10/10 and 2 thumbs up. It's a big must return once fully open to get the full experience of this restaurant. The food was spot on for seasoning and grilled to perfection... nice and tender. Only thing left on our plate was part of the pita bread. It was definitely worth the 1/2 hour drive which I got to enjoy with my 3 daughters and bestie for mother's Day weekend.

We come across this restaurant by chance. We liked the food, it was delicious but we have been charged double price for a plate of grilled meets and sides. We have been told about the special menu for Saturdays, 35$/per adult: we were 4 adults and 2 kids. When we consulted the menu while back home, we saw that we’ve been served only one portion of grilled meeds priced at 69$ In the menu, but we have been charged 180$ for the same portion. Quite disappointing…

What can I said I use to love this place. the first time I went, food was good and fresh and for the price I got enough for me but I think that the fame went to their heads! I recommended the place to some friends and what a shame! Some of them pay 30$ for a shisha and others 25$ THE SAME TIME AND DAY why because even the staff don’t know what are the prices they charge what they want. and no MENU, they don’t have a menu what kind of restaurant makes us pay 40$ For food but they don’t even give you any choice like we pay and we get what ever the server brings ????????????

As soon as I got home my family and I were astounded as to what you get for the price! As if we weren`t already impressed, then we started to eat the food. OMG!! So good! The meat was so tender and delicious, the salad was amazing, the fries, rice and side dishes all amazing. To top that off you can see such care that is taken to package everything so that when you get home everything is hot and fresh and nothing soggy. We have just become loyal customers. I'm so glad my daughter found this place on TikTok. Great job Belyatchou!

Belyatchou is home to the best seafood outside of Montreal, no exaggeration. The grilled octopus itself could hold it's own against another top 10 Mediterranean resto on Park Ave. in Montreal that I won't mention. Belyatchou's octopus and shrimp is undoubtedly the greatest in the area. When a chef is passionate about cooking, it's evident in the nuances and surprising flavors of the dish, and this was my experience in the dinner I had in late December 2020. Everything from the chicken, to the grilled shrimp and the unforgettable fish shawarma (Mahi-mahi) was scandalously delicious. I can't wait for the pandemic to subside so that I can regularly enjoy a nice meal at Belyatchou. On one hand I hope more people discover this hidden gem, on another, I'd like to keep it a secret so I can enjoy a quiet meal in this lovely restaurant again once life gets back to normal. :)

I am very disappointed to say the least, we ordered some food quite late at night. We got nothing short of a disaster. Sandwiches were so soggy, not enough meat . Fries were horrible! This was by far the worst sandwich I have ever had, this is surely not Lebanese food. I don't even know what it is! The way the sandwich was done was ridiculous, so full of nothing but sauce! Food was delicious, probably one of the best Mediterranean grill places I’ve been to. However, they advertise bringing your food on a platter to your car which is grossly misleading as they don’t do that, even after I specifically asked for it. Secondly, this place is bananas on a Saturday, was told the food would take 20 minutes but was closer to an hour. Place needs to hire additional help desperately as there were many clients who were annoyed at the service. Bright side, the food is really good.

The owner chooses the prices according to the people. After 4 weeks in a row we are always given a higher price than last week! Each employee gives us a different price and each customer will have a different price. Every new week they invent a new rule to be able to make the most money. I compare the prices we have to pay with the table opposite and the prices are not at all the same! There were 3 of us who paid $ 40 each for their mandatory menu and we got 4 skewers (for the 3) and no frits, while the table opposite had 3x more than us for $ 35. The price of their shisha keeps increasing from week to week, going from 20 to 23 to 25 to 30 to 35 $ and this, depending on who you are !! The following week we are told that only to enter the restaurant you have to pay $ 40 and this, even if you do not eat ..... And finally they make you pay the bill as soon as you arrive at your tables, they expect to have a direct tip but the tip is supposed to be according to the service ... so how should we tip before even ordering and after 2sec sitting? (Original) je suis cliente depuis leur ouverture! l'ambiance est incroyable et leur nourriture très bonne. Par contre depuis le debut de mes visites le prix ne fait que augmenter. Le propriétaire choisi les prix en fonction des personnes. Apres 4 semaine de suite on nous donne toujours un prix plus élevé que celui de la semaine passé! Chaque employé nous donne un prix différent et chaque client aura un prix différent. A chaque nouvelle semaine ils inventent une nouvelle règle pour pouvoir faire le plus d'argent. J'ai comparer les prix que nous avons payer avec la table d'en face et les prix ne sont pas du tout les mêmes ! Nous étions 3 a payer 40$ chaque pour leur menu obligatoire et nous avons eu 4 brochette (pour les 3) et aucune frittes, tandis que la table d'en face en avait 3x plus que nous pour 35$. Le prix de leur shisha ne cessent d'augmenter de semaine en semaine en passant de 20 a 23 a 25 a 30 a 35$ et ce , dépendent de qui vous êtes!! La semaine d'après on nous annonce que seulement pour rentrer dans le restaurant il faut payer 40$ et ce , même si vous manger pas ..... Et pour finir ils vous font payer la facture des que vous arriver a votree tables, ils s'attendent a avoir du pourboire direct mais le pourboire est supposer être en fonction du service... alors comment devons nous mettre un pourboire avant même de commander et après 2sec assis?

Very disappointed!! The price on their online menu is different than the price on their actual menus... They double charge clients as they please... The bill is never clear and there is 0 decency!!! A restaurant's success is based on his consistency and how to make client not robb them and have them as a one time client!! Have good food does not mean over price clients and shoot your prices to the moon this is totally unfair, you should at least as basics for any restaurant to have good food so don't let it blow your confidence and mind and start charging clients left and right.... So let’s start food quality 5star yes but……… 74$ for barely any food that’s my problem. I ordered 1/2 kilo last time and was perfect had plenty of food and hummus and Babaganoush and came with fries. This time I order 1kilo with fatouche and what a surprise salade and sides barely enough for one person (yes one person!!!!) they used plastic containers and filed them barely. I’ve been eating Middle Eastern food my whole life and it was insulting the portion size. Not only that this time no fries !? If I would have known I would have ordered some. So if things have changed I would highly suggest increase your portion size because for the cost it’s 100% not worth the price. Stay away from cheap restaurants because usually if they’re cheap with their food I can imagine how cheap they are on their ingredients…. Food for thought. FYI had mother in law over and she’s Syrien/Lebanese ok the verge of calling the restaurant to complain.
