Worse customer service of all time. I wanted to return a faulty water boiler I bought 7 months ago and I lost the receipt. They told me they cannot accept it because it's over 3 months. I asked for a copy of my receipt to send it the vendor as it was still under warranty but the manager told me it's not possible to retrieve the receipt with your credit card. Never ever buy anything from them. A company with $480 billion revenue, never care about their customer.

Huge Store with a Grocery section and open super-late. Open until Midnight which is great since other stores seem to close so early in Vancouver. There is ample parking and lots of room so you can have your car door ajar without worrying about hitting your neighbors car. **The selection in the store is fantastic but CAUTION: Not all the items on the website s\are shown in the store. (The products are on the shelves, but the price hasn't been adjusted) So, you would never know it was on sale,, unless you brought it up to the cashier who will then over ride it. Its a dirty little trick.

Walmart advertises 100% satisfaction guaranteed but recently I was in Walmart in Sylvan Lake and they never had any power karts for the handicapped it is pretty hard to do your grocery shopping without a cart with the basket on front many grocery stores offer this service and I was told that their last cart give up last week and the store had not purchased or replaced the carts when they gave out for such a big Corporation one would think that this store would be embarrassed to turn away customers that aren't fully able-bodied so no for the handicapped people they do not offer 100% satisfaction guaranteed it was a sad night!

I'm from US and thought this Walmart was a bit lacking in selection compared to what I was used to. Also looked a bit old and in need of repair. Went during a heavy rain and sound like one section was going to start leaking at any point. It didn't leak though and I generally found what I needed.

It quite a bit bigger, the prices are a bit higher and theres not much variety in the meats section. Its a great store for toys, house wares and kids clothes. I will shop there because they do price comparisons and take most coupons. It's a good store for the middle class.

Although this is a Supercentre, this location isn't as big as some of the other locations such as Queensbourough or Lougheed Mall. This location used to be the old Costco warehouse, meaning small parking spots. Word of advice, don't park at the bottom of the parking lot as people don't put their buggies away properly. They will roll and smack your car (big dings and dents). Park at the top of the parking lot or on the street. The Supercentre is clean. And does get busy. Great savings all across the board. Price match is available.

Can't say enough about the Walmart experience. I never liked the store name or the brand. I refused to be part of what I saw as an exploitative company, but now, I enjoy shopping at Walmart for many reasons. I like to buy organic. I like buying English magazines. The produce is very good and products reasonably priced (4 boxer shorts by Hanes for $20). I luv the self checkout and the stores are airy enough to make shopping less stressful in these Covid times.

It is really a good store to buy grocery and other stuffs. But only problem is that it has only one halal section in the entire store and sometimes it goes out of stock as well. Has enough space for parking and wheelchair accessible entrance. When it comes to price it is good but not great. There are a lot of improvement can be made especially in the cutlery side. Or else in utensils section like other stores.

Cheap prices, but definitely not worth the commute if you don't live near the store. They carry Manic Panic hair dies and bleach kit, but only in limited colours. Check the online store before you go. I couldn't find the shade of blue I wanted. They were also out of plain yogurt:(

Customers seem to be the main problem with Walmart keeping up with covid rules. People are not giving each other space while walking through the store and now when it's more important that you return your cart to a cart return spot so it can be cleaned before use for the next customer people are still leaving carts in the middle of parking spots. Shame on all of us

Just like the Costco before in this location. This warehouse is terribly old and run down. There is no auto centre. The auto department is tiny. You can get only bare essentials for your car in terms of fluid and wipers, etc. No tires, no batteries. There is only method of access to the store if you want to use a buggy. You have to go up this long steep ramp. And for some reason, this location's prices vary between other Wal-marts: some items are more or expensive than the others. The only reason it doesnt get one star is that it is a Supercentre. If I need something late I'll head out to the Supercentre in Surrey. And whats with Google and aprostrophes?

Walmart is only closed on CHRISTMAS DAY . Walmart is open every statutory holiday (and every other day) from 7 am - 11 pm and only closes early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Walmart is always bad but this one seems to seek out rude unhelpful employees. if you want to wander around looking for items placed in bizzare locations while the staff hide from you then hit it up and you'll have a ball.

This Walmart has replaced most of their cashiers with self checkout machines. What tills they have left are often closed. One day I was in line and there was one till open with about 12 people in line. Another cashier came off break and was about to open up when their supervisor told them to instead clean all the garbage bins, run some product to the customer service counter, and perform a variety of other menial tasks while we all waited for the one obviously overworked cashier. The shelves in this Walmart are also poorly stocked, with product thrown all over the place and often not packed above the correct pricing labels. The store is messy, and just a general lack of cleanliness throughout the store. The stocking staff are often running around the store with their pallets of product, attempting to Death Race 2000 as many customers as possible per shift. I shop here periodically to save a few bucks, but the prices between Superstore and Costco are fast closing (and often tip the other way) and there is less and less incentive to continue shopping here. The management at this Walmart needs a makeover just as much as the store itself. Poor decisions, lack of staff, and some of the staff that remain are poorly trained and not overly helpful. If you can, shop elsewhere.

Often stock is not replaced, or is all over the place. Staff are hard to find, and when I come in an hour before closing, when my shift ends, navigating the haphazardly placed pallets, and stock boys moving down every isle with their pallets is both dangerous, and frustrating. Customer service is pretty good, but occasionally you have to wait 15 minutes to connect with a staff member to get an item from out of a glass lockup. The MY WALMART app for android and for ios is a great tool for checking prices. Just download the app and you can use your phones camera to check the price of any item in store!!!! this contributes 2 of the stars.

I needed to picked up a birthday gift for my grandson, but during the Covid-19 lockdown I had to shop online. I am not happy about it but I have no choice. But, then I found out that I didn't spend enough for free shipping so I though, no problem, I can pick i up. Then I found out during check out I had to pay a $5.00 handling fee! Again, because I didn't spend enough!!! I wouldn't have paid this is I could have shopped for myself. This fee should be waived during Covid-19 lock down!!

The stores might be OK but do not try to order on-line! “Useless” doesn’t describe them badly enough! Ordered a 5’ x 8’ outdoor rug. Was emailed confirmation, then actual “has now shipped” email with expected delivery date to my local store in Vernon, BC. Delivery date was a one week long window. Came the last day of that window and no call telling me order was ready for pick up, so I phoned the store. Was put through to on-line order department. They couldn’t find the order. Didn’t know if it had arrived or was still on a truck somewhere. Offered to give me a phone number and told it was my job to phone this 800 number to track shipment...MY JOB!!! Yes, they were very busy! So I phone this number and they can’t track shipment. No idea where it is. They then tell me this wasn’t a Walmart product so I should phone the actual supplier to find out where it is. Just could not believe I was actually the customer! Never mind that Walmart collected payment for the order the day it was shipped! I want the rug otherwise would cancel immediately. I will write a further review if and when I ever receive it.

Has a great selection in each department and parking is good, not crazy like other stores. Only disappointing thing is, each time I go to pick up photos I ordered I have to wander around and flag another employee down to page someone to photo. I get that maybe it’s not cost effective to have someone designated there all day, but at least have a more efficient way for customers to get someone’s attention and grab their order without wasting 10 minutes each time.

Produce is never fresh. Greeter that was fundraising for Children's Hospital was yelling at people to donate and you could hear her throughout the entire store. Cashier smelled like BO so badly that I needed to hold my breath. Bad experience repeatedly at this location.

Its a busy store but parking lot is ample cause there are no other stores in the area. Entering off Boundary street is hard because of the hwy 1 off ramp. Its safer to turn on Grandview hwy and turn right at Chevron to get to the parking lot.

Missing a couple things from their website but basically is always full of stock of everything else. Staff is mostly friendly, no one really around to help you, but I don't come here for that.

Just before closing time all personal were pulled off the pay check out isles so had to use self Check out isles which were so full I had to wait. I got lucky as there was a nice Walmart lady there who was helping direct traffic and trouble shoot check out problems who scanned my groceries in and bagged them for me. That saved me a big hassle cause I did not know the codes and menu's to use on all the different food items that had no barcode stickers on them.

So disappointed in their recent changes to check outs. A majority are self check outs and the few remaining that are run by cashiers are lined up 4-5 or more customers! What will it be like at Christmas? I have been a loyal shopper for years but have almost given up. Why should I check my own groceries? I am tired enough after a day shopping and then unloading and putting them away. I am feeling like it is not worth the small savings. I over heard customers last Friday sharing my sentiments and one person even deserted their shopping cart and said to heck with it I'm going to Safeway where they value their customers. I do not work for you. You are taking away jobs and creating long lineups. Sad to change but I am frustrated and disappointed.

Walmart Yellowknife This is a normal size Walmart, not a Supermart. They have groceries but no cooler for milk or orange juice etc. Still a good stop with plenty of items. I want to point out an employee whom I asked where to find Krazy Glue. He knew of three areas and I went and found what I wanted. Great job on his behalf knowing where my item was located. This location is clean and can be busy. Good size parking lot and they have a McDonald's inside.

While shopping had to use the washrooms. Out of three stalls, one had a big bloody loogy on the seat, the other was covered in dirt, and the third soaked in urine. Its clean and the best deals out of any other big box general stores in Vancouver. No frills and superstore comes close though but Walmart has a large variety of stuff that blows any other place right out of the water. Wait times for cashier can be long compared to superstore but that's a small issue. Buggies are very easy to find and there's always a full stack of them out front which is great. Theres always staff in the aisles that are happy to help if you need it. Superstore has better variety of produce and prepared foods though. I will be back for the deals.

This store is trying to sell too many different types of things and will leave you not able to find what you came for and if you try to ask for help you'll be sent in the wrong direction or told that they "don't know where that is". Save yourself a wasted trip and go to the Superstore or Canadian Tire down the road, you'll find what you need there, it will probably be cheaper or the same price, and you'll get much better service while you shop.

Went to return an item (with the receipt) at the Boundary Walamrt because the North Vancouver one was closed. The cashier at the till said you can’t return it because the customer service was closed. I’ve come here for years but over the last month or so it’s gone completely down hill. I don’t know if it’s a change of ownership or if they’re just losing money but I went last week and today and have had the worst experiences. The aisles are barely stocked. Half the things I needed were sold out. Things I used to buy before there are no longer carried. All the fruit/veggies weren’t stocked and the ones that were weren’t edible. This Walmart doesn’t carry lactose free yogurt/cottage cheese etc which makes me have to go next door to superstore to get. 2 out of the 15 or so cashier tills were open today at 5pm... all the aisles were a mess with things in all the wrong spots. It’s like this Walmart has given up and just doesn’t have staff on anymore. I won’t be shopping here anymore

Of course like every other superstore this has pretty much everything you need but it is so big that if you need help with something it's impossible to find someone. Where do I start? I came here to quickly pick up a box of diapers which I always do from this store. They didn't have any but they had been taking out skids of diapers and putting them in the isles. I went to check the skids by myself to see if I could find them. Once I couldn't find any, I spent the next 10 minutes walking around trying to find someone. I ended up in the automotive department and caught a kind lady who said she didn't work in the area I was, but she stopped what she was doing to walk across the store to help me. We walked around to see where the specific diapers were and we couldn't find them. She then checked the label to tell me there were 14 in the store. I then thanked her for her help and proceeded to go to customer service for help as we both STILL couldn't find anyone in the baby area. I've removed this middle paragraph due to a character limitation. I will be sending this missing paragraph via email to the store.. I went to get them and came back to the front cashier which I tried to price match. He said the ones I chose were not the "super pack" which I gave a blank stare since I didn't know what that meant. Obviously he did since he made the distinction. I asked and he explained, which I asked for some clarification since the quantity on the as I was price matching had even less than the boxes I was carrying. Showing my frustration at this point because I've spent over a half hour going through this exercise where one twin was in the hospital the previous night due to a siezure and the other with a hand-foot-mouth virus, I had let the cashier know that the previous customer service associate at the front didn't offer any help and there was nobody in the back, and now this rediculously unclear diaper product difference. STILL STILL STILL no offer to get someone in the back to help me. The lazy cashier said "I don't know who is in the back". I asked if they could 0age someone for me and he refused. Right when he refused, the customer service lady from before was paging another associate to help a customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!? I just stopped talking to the un-empathetic cashier and 0roceeded to walk out of the store visibly upset. The cashier just proceeded to move to the next customer which got me even more upset. coming from a customer service background I would find it distasteful to complain about someone in the same role, but in this case I could not tolerate this type of behavior and think that they would treat somebody else like this. To the other side of Oakville to the Great Canadian Superstore to purchase the pack of diapers that I was looking for. I've attached photos of the Walmart label of the product I was looking for, a picture of the diapers that I bought from the Great Canadian Superstore as well as a picture of the store manager which I will be following up with. I think this experience was completely unacceptable and I hope that no other customer there will be treated in this manner. I don't expect anything except for in insurance. these employees will not treat other customers in the same manner that they did to me. I certainly still give praise to that one customer service woman in the back who took her time to help me as much as she possibly could. These are the types of employees you need to promote in your company and not the ones who are representing your company in the front of the store. I was at this Walmart location on Saturday September 15th approximately 9:15 p.m.

I've been shopping here the better part of 20+ years. Most of the staff is good,some go out of their way to be friendly. Paying for bags and packing your own things is pathetic. Being pushed to use self checkout takes away much needed jobs and given the huge rise in prices why would anyone bag them too? Too many shelves left empty. Their change over to great value everything sucks and can often find better quality products on sale at Sobeys. Prices are no longer "good deals". This store and those in Red Deer AB all have the same issues but find Sylvan to be the worst. There's so few items that are decently priced with decent quality don't feel it's worth going out of my way to shop there. The self-checkouts rob people of jobs and forcing the tellers to stand at the end of the aisle to call in customers is degrading to the workers. Having women in yellow vests telling you to go to certain tills is annoying, makes me feel rushed when I'm not even sure I've got everything I need. Cutting back on the variety of brands is a bad idea along with almost all the new changes.Walmart makes enough money that their disability carts should either be fixed or better still, replaced and for such a large store, Sylvan branch that used to have 4 which wasn't enough had two break down permanently but very often leaves elderly and disabled waiting before they can even begin shopping. The place seems very disorganized having worsened over the past approximately 2 years.

I always have a love-hate relationship with Wal-Mart because it always seems to be out of stock on items I want, even if they are not on sale. However, as a general rule, the customer service is great and the selection is definitely decent in the entertainment area. Found prices were higher here than in Washington state. In USA travelers are allowed to sleep in parking lot at night, but in Vancouver we felt it wasn't allowed. So we left. Has all the same stuff as other Walmart.

Meh, I don't ever really have super high expectations of big box stores like walmart but this one was especially bad. Half of the shelves weren't stocked, and they don't carry some really basic things that was surprising. As well, I checked out with a cashier and they didn't give me a receipt which is fine I usually don't want one anyway. However, when I went to leave the store a man standing there asked to see it. I told him I didn't have one, was never given one, and then he said I couldn't leave until he saw my receipt. So I had to go back, stand in line, and get her to clear me to go through the exit of the store because she never gave me a receipt. Don't bother shopping here unless you're desperate, lol.

There is a lot to take in at this northern location. Common areas of the store are clean while not so visible areas, not so much. Staff are friendly. Busy location, lots of season merchandise to choose from, ship to store for free. Pharmacy is extremely busy, seems to be short staffed much of the time. I drive to this location from New Westminster as I am familiar with their product line-up with certain things I don't find elsewhere. One of those is excelsior whole bean coffee in kilo pack. On a recent visit, out of coffee at home, I was dismayed to NOT find the gold colored bag in the coffee section. Finding a customer service person, I asked her about whether the product was discontinued (horrors!) ... she did not know, but did check to see if there was any 'in the back'. When none was discovered, she offered to check if the product was discontinued and if not, would call me when it became available. A few days later, I got a call from the very courteous CS person (Choko?) informing me that the product was in AND she was holding a bag for me at the CS kiosk. Of course, I was delighted... picked up my coffee a couple days later and was able to find and thank this young lady in person. Her response was: 'it's my job to ensure the customer is well served'... something one does not hear that frequently these days. Kudos to her AND the management for encouraging this positive behavior ... Jay W.

This place was real busy and the customers were rude. Power went out while we were there and the staff (like any retail safety program I've seen) instructed the customers to go to the front of the store. I do most of my shopping here, but that's mostly out of convenience. It's very large, usually quite crowded & most of the staff are useless. However, if you know your way around it & don't have to ask for help to find anything, you won't have a problem. Their meat & produce isn't the best, but for dairy, boxed/canned goods, toiletries, diapers/wipes, household items, kids clothes, etc. they have the absolute best prices. I recommend going before 3pm during the week & definitely avoiding on the weekends - that's when it gets REALLY crazy.

Worst customer service ever. I called customer service more than 20 times in a span of an hr to only be transferred to employment services (she literally has to press couple of buttons). Finally after like so many calls, she picks up and finally transfers me to employment services, a man picks up and I tell him why I am calling and he says "is Ryan there?" And my response was obviously I don't know, I'm calling u, I'm not at the store and all he said was "okay okay" and hangs up.. seriously? If you can't do your job properly then quit because someone out there can do it better. I wouldn't even give this location a 1 star, it's worth negative five stars. I'll be calling headquarters to let them know of this location and file a report.

Good to see the mandatory mask requirement is in place but it is not always being enforced consistently. Lots of people coming in with a mask and taking it off in the aisle. The people at the pharmacy are awsome. I used to go to superstore but had opposite experience there. I have 3 discs out in my back and I do not want surgery! Everytime I go to wal mart they always have the pills I need to be able to perform my job. Superstore was always out of them and the lady there acted like its my fault for wanting pills that allow me to live and work like every one else. Its not wal marts fault about the old building. I purchased a Wahl haircutting kit from Walmart.ca on July 2, 2020. It was returned to Walmart on September 17, 2020 - well within their return window. I noticed in early November that they still had not issued a refund for the $86.44 that they owe me and called them on the 4th. The rep said that, although their system indicated that a refund had been issued, she would escalate the matter and have someone issue a manual refund. On November 6, I received an email from Walmart that said my "return request has been cancelled." I immediately phoned them to find out what was going on and they told me that, because a manual refund was being issued, they had to send me that "return request has been cancelled" email. It is now December 7 and I have not yet seen that refund. Therefore, I have just filed a complaint with the credit card dispute team and am now posting this negative review. Needless to say, we will NEVER shop at Walmart again and we will be posting negative reviews wherever and whenever possible.

In terms of Walmart this is a clean and well maintained location. Crowd levels are not too bad and I have never felt like it is "too busy." Finding staff within any given department is difficult and funding knowledgeable staff is even harder.

Most of their veggies are great but fruit can be hit or miss especially if it's out of season. The organic section is growing which is also nice to see. Their pharmacy section needs to get their act together. Great experience with 2 staff last night, in the Photo Dept. the associate helped with setting up my pictures I needed to print off, he explained the Walmart Photo App wasn't working probably. The second was the associate at the Self check out, explaining how to buy the product protection on the Oral B product I purchased. ENJOY CHEERS

I'm giving this Walmart a single star due to the fact that I can not give a lower rating. I had a purchase refunded to a gift card for a drone bought as a gift for my son. Approximately a month and a half later my wife attempted to purchase a gift with the card. She was told there is no money on the card. Essentially we have have had money stolen from us from this Walmart with only excesses made by the manager. I highly recommend not doing business with this store, they are theves. Will never shop the again!

This is just like any other Walmart I have been to. It has everything you expect inside. This one is a bit larger so it has the photocenter, haircuts, portrait studio, McDonald’s the whole nine yards. Bring the family to get a deal on soap and leave with your hands full of things you didn’t know you needed. There is one big area for self checkouts and another larger area with people working at checkouts too.

Clean, parking lot is kept clear of carts, decent selection of most food items. Staff are quick to attend to issues in the self checkout areas.

There is a little less floor space in this Walmart then I'm used to however it still has all what you would expect to see in a wallmart. Great place with decent friendly staff.

This was the first time I ever used the grocery shop online, I wasn't expecting such high quality to be honest. I will definitely be using this again. My eggs weren't even cracked or broken. How amazing is that!

It's called a Supercentre but it's not as large as the Supercentres you may be used to in more suburban areas. Still they have just about everything you need, and frankly it's nice to be able to get everything without walking miles around a massive box store.

The store it self us nice but the treat costumers very bad to be honest I've never been treated and embearist do bad the floor walker there because I had just got off work in construction I wasn't dressed in my best the floor walker liitraly was breathing down my neck like 2 feet away the hole time I was so mad I payed for my grosereys and was about to leave and I noticed that he was still watching me That was it I promptly went to costumer service and returned everything. If I could give minus 3 I would don't go there and please tell others of my story it the only way to teach these big stores the we the custermers is what keeps them going

Typical Walmart with pros and cons of its location: good: close to Hwy 1/Grandview Hwy/Boundary; bad: accessible only from Grandview Hwy which can be very busy at times.
