This store is one of my favourites ... especially for fresh veggies and garden stock, but they also have a butcher counter, a country bakery, and an aisle of spices and seasonings that aren't always carried in the big box food stores -- as well as offerings of hand-packed pet foods, wild bird seed, and outdoor yard art. As a priority, Briwood carries locally-grown produce, and ardently supports our local farmers -- and for that alone, they'd get my business. But it's more than just another small grocer ... you know that their fruit has come from local orchards, their meat from local farms, and their yard art from local artisans -- so all the profits stay within the local economy, not a corporate headquarters somewhere. Fancy it is not, so you can't compare Briwood against the big foodstore chains, of course ... and you really wouldn't want to - that's the point. For me, the Briwood Farm Market is a sparkly little gem that is irresistible in its country charm. It sets itself quite apart from the bland shopping experience of the big-name outlets, and is no less convenient. Stop by and see for yourself ...

This store is great! They have everything you need for your garden. Good selection of plants and vegetables. The generic bagged grass seed that they sell is amazing product. We’ve used it for a few projects and I feel like it does a better job than the name brands, but you get a lot more seed for about the same price. Special Tip: Briwood is one of the only places in St. Thomas that sells garbage bag tags.

Briwood has always had a great outdoor garden center. The selection may be limited rt now due to weather but they do have a separate cashier out back so you can check out faster if your just buying stuff from outside. This way you don't have to wait to get inside to checkout. They also have a good selection of local produce when in season. They also sell locally produced meat products. You can also call them right now for delivery of your order during Covid 19.

Really pleased to find a green grocers and prefer shopping at local business and getting fresh produce but utterly disappointed at the amount of plastic in store. Cauliflowers wrapped in plastic, cucumbers wrapped in plastic, plastic containers, plastic bags to collect items and customers all walking out with plastic carrier bags. So disheartening to see this, I was hoping everything would be plastic free in this day and age! Due to this I was only able to get a select few items.

They have some unique products. I don't like how they divide all the bulk products at the cash tils. The cashiers fill bags with bulk in between customers. I've never seen one of them wash or sanitize their hands.
