You may have noticed that it has an average rating is quite high, and it's based on a high number of scores, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put scores when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Butcher Shop belongs to the category of Grocery store.
Sabor Latino is a pan-South American supermarket with an in-house bakery that seems to be running at full speed throughout the day, judging by the trays of fresh baked goods and buns constantly coming in from the kitchen. Even on a mid-day, …
You just lost a daily client. Poor client service at the food station. Had been waiting for 10 minutes and they started giving service to people who had arrived in line after me. When reminded they rudely said that these people were here before me. Lost my lunchbreak over this basically. Also, important to point out that I just found out that out of my 20 coworkers, 3 people got food poisoning from that place....
Excelente, muy buen servicio y las pupusas y tamales, deliciosos very happy to finally find a well establish Latino place, the personal, friendly …
In this place you'll find an area serving ready-to-eat food and sweets, and a grocery store with a meat's section. The food and most of the products are brought from central and south america. They have a really good selection of products.
My wife's go to place for all things Mexican.
This is one of the favorite grocery stores of the Latin community in Montreal. They have recently moved to this new location which allowed them to have a larger stock of groceries from different countries from #Latin America. You will find mostly products from #Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela and San Salvador. The owners are a friendly Colombian family that have been able to expanded their business and bring more products in. The store is divided into two sections, the supermarket and the cafeteria. The prices are fair and not overpriced if with compare them with other #Latino grocery stores in Montreal. If you go on the weekend, be patient because it gets crowded and service can take longer to expected. In the cafeteria, you can find: chicharrón, arepas, pupusas, #empanadas, buñuelos, tamales from different countries, fried fish, soups, desserts and more.
Very inconsistent and discriminatory service as far as kindness and consideration (to non-Latinos?) is concerned. The woman at the hot food register was quite rude and graceless to me today. I will never go back, and will share my experience as widely as possible. Good thing Andino is just down the street.
Great place to buy latin stuff, really exciting to find these kind of products far from home. Some a little bit expensive but they are good.
They are counting on their clients volume but quality is very average. It's an old style policy where management counts on increasing clientele volume based on price little difference from other competitors and offering more products …
I arrived there, and I'm like : "Awesome! All the latino products I need". I turn the aisle to see what type of tortillas they hold, and my head *exploded*. …
Delicious empanadas !! Exotic products!
I am a NY Puerto Rican living in the Montreal Area and this is one of the few places I can go to get the spices and ready made food that I am used to at home. …
A little expensive but you can find Inca Kola y panceta ????
A lot of variety of Latin products and very friendly staff
Nice place to find latinamerican products and food. Located near metro Jean-Talon. Normally go to also buy beef, since I do not like the smell and the dryness of beef in supermarket chains. There, it is fresher, softer and well priced.
I just visited the new place this commerce has. As is bigger, they have better spaces for products, so it looks more organized than before. The main entrance is also bigger, so it's easier to get in an out with packages. They have a good quantity of latino products from Mexico, Peru, Colombia and others, you can find bread, meat, dairy products, candies, etc. All sections are very well identified, the restaurant offers delicious juices and sodas and you can order to eat there or take away. Employees are very polite and helpful, the building is clean and well distributed. Right now (August 2018) there are some reparations taking place along the St-Hubert street, so be prepared, I strongly recommend to take the metro instead of driving. If you want to eat, do it first and then you can go shopping, because with purchases you can block the path to people. Remember to bring your bags, but anyway, you could get some there. I took the time to go to the bathroom which is downstairs and it was very clean. If you have any problem going down using the stairs, there is a bathroom near by the restaurant for handicap individuals. I really thing this change was for better. I felt very comfortable while visiting, I found everything I was looking for and I think I'll continue visiting you in the near future. Well done!
Small Hispanic grocery store which you can find all your little needs to do a Latin inspired dish. Courteous service, reasonable prices and a nice variety of goodies with a diner style restaurant!
Great food at a very reasonable price. Edit: I have been here often and must say that the quality of the food served is inconsistent. Often NOT good, but when it is good, it is VERY good. Great place to get avocados and other staples for Latin cooking.
take-out is delicious! but the service in the store is poor due to the fact that most of the staff don't speak french or English at all. last time i went 3 months ago things might/should have changed so i would recommend to at least give it a try!
Awesome new location. Staff is always friendly. They have a crazy offering of imported latin-american products. Fresh cooked dishes on location. What I had was nice, except for the "pupusa" that took long and felt a bit burnt. But I'm sure it was a mistake. Will go again.
very expensive products, Food looks fine ! variety ..
I love generous portions but GEEEZ! I felt like my tummy was about to explode! Awesome and friendly staff! Delicious and authentic products
I love sabor latino. They have so many things latin things and I really appreciate the products. The sabor latino at Jean Talon has a confusing layout but is way bigger and has more things than the one in St. Laurent. The people is very friendly and the different things they make there, are delicious.
Some interesting products but most things seem so expensive. I was actually shocked at many of the prices. I don't know if its always been like this but this seems to be a place to grab a specialty item or two, not do your regular weekly shopping. Staff are nice.
I enjoyed this market. I found a lot of familiar items that remind me of home and that made me happy the hot foods where a bit expensive but to be totally honest I would go again for a cheese pupusa.
This was my first visit and I loved it! If you are Latino/a or need to cook a Latin American dish, this is the place to go!!!! Everything you need is available from plantains, avocados, all kind of cheeses, tortillas, etcetera. Prices can be a bit higher than I expected but the variety is awesome, staff is helpful.
This place is not so good, is dirty and don't have great products
Sabor Latino is a gem. Best churros I've tasted to date, and their cafeteria is top notch. Their empanadas are to die for. If you're looking for anything mexican, they've got it. Super friendly staff, very accomodating. Their new location is much more spacious too. Go there!
If you have 2$CAD buy a fresh salad; if you have 7.50$CAD buy fresh sweet tamales.... My self-care is to keep eating until I explode! After a difficult Thursday juggling too many teens and too many bills, I knew my …
Not impressed by my first visit to the new location on St Hubert. More expensive than I remember, food did not look that fresh. Hopefully they'll get things in order. When in search of special products from a Latino country you expect to pay a premium as everything is imported, however you do expect it to be edible.
It's delicioso, good service and price
Good store for latino groceries. Large variety. A bit expensive but probably priced for the pandemic. Store layout could be better.
Just Great!!! Large variety of products you can't miss and the food is amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
This place is awesome! I needed some ingredients to make my Superbowl chili, and I bought a bunch of dried chilis, some epazote, and some fresh poblanos. Selection and prices both excellent.
They have good chilean empanadas -avoid the fried columbian ones- and decent pico de gallo. The churros and tamales aren't good. Their juices aren't bad. Service is friendly. Parking can be a pain. The prices for the prepared foods are now ridiculous after they jacked them up recently and super market prepared food is definitely not worth that price.
Very good selection of latin food. From Mexican to Argentinian ingredients. The butcher shop has a selection of nice cuts and fresh cheese.
I absolutely love this place, papusa's, rice, empanadas, chicharron, and loads of Latina foods and store items. Delicious ...staff is super nice
Great choice of products from Latin America. Great deals on fresh cut meats and you can get unique cuts from them. Same for the cheeses. …
Fruits and vegetables very limited, for pantry the option variety is just okay but a bit overpriced, whereas the restaurant really good flavor-porcion-price. Bakery not the best
Great variety of latin american products. The restaurant food was ok although it is difficult to estimate how much eating there can cost because some choices are paid by weight and some have a fixed price. The photos of the dishes in the TV displays change too fast to read and appreciate to compare.
