I am typically a die hard Save on Foods points collector but I find myself gravitating to this grocery for the energy and awesome customer service! The produce is pretty fresh too. I now try to split my grocery shops and support this store as much as possible. Last week I was in there looking at some turkeys and a young gentleman asked me if I needed help. I said well I’m trying to decide if this price of $15.99 is per turkey or per pound...without hesitation he reaches into the cooler grabs the biggest turkey and says I’ll be right back...comes back 30 seconds later and says it’s per turkey! I was shocked at how willing he was to go out of his way for me. Then someone rang the “great service bell” and you hear everyone in the store start cheering including a off duty staff member who was shopping himself and high fives some customers. The whole vibe of the store is just awesome! Support this store!

So far i have to say i really love this store. they carry a wide variety products and have excellent sale prices. They also open at 0700 hours which is a total life saver for me! the staff are all very friendly and always ready to help. My wish for the store is that they expand their product selection in the future to have a few more low carb/keto products.

Beautiful store! Everything looks so fresh and clean. Lots of staff restocking and cleaning. I will definitely shop there again! Love that the buggies do not have the coin slot at all and that there are two different sizes of carts. VERY convenient for those that don't have the strength to push the full sized ones around.

Been there a few times now seems like a nice little store. Selection isn't comprehensive like others have commented, but it's a good convenience stop and has all the essentials at least. I'm sure it has the business grows that their selection will grow as well. I'm probably not inclined to do all of my shopping there but I do like it as a supplemental Quick stop store. I do like the layout and the aesthetic of the store as well.

Their deli/warm food section was amazing. The idea of having a self checkout at the deli section is super smart. Also saves me the drive to Superstore on the other side of town. The place is also very clean and organized as it is new. Definitely will be back. :)

It has an above-average (but not a great) selection of premium PC products with generally friendly staff to help you out if you need it. However, it feels like you're being harassed by the PC Optimum credit card employees on your way out of the store.

Well stocked in their first few weeks of opening. They do have similar Superstore deals, and it is nice if you do optimum, but i do find that not everything is a bargain, which is like most stores. Do enjoy their fresh counters, but it wish they had more cake flavour options.

Independents Pick Up Service is top notch! When you call to advise that you've arrived, they ask you if there's anything you've missed. They will shop for you to add anything that you may have missed, which I find very helpful. I love that they carry Alberta made products and support local. Their team is always smiling and willing to help. They made my daughters day by giving her a bouquet of flowers would have otherwise been thrown out. If you haven't tried their freshly squeezed orange juice, make sure to grab one!

I originally gave 5 stars but I had to change my review after stopping here a few times. The staff are friendly and there are almost never any line ups which I appreciate a lot. However my concern lies with a few of the staff (specifically the guys that restock products and such). Everytime I stop in, I always see the same few gents not wearing their masks properly. It's consistently the same people and it seems management doesn't mind as they are never being corrected.

Exceptional service. I switched from Superstore because of the long wait times. I was waiting up to 45 minutes some days, and despite speaking to the manager nothing ever changed. This was a very positive thing as I found Independent Grocer instead. Same fantastic prices, most items are in stock, and if they are not they replace them with very similar items. They always give me a call ahead to ask if I need to add anything or make any changes. Best, they are always out within minutes for the pickup service. I never had to wait more than 3 minutes! So yes, the 20 minute drive is well worth it!!! Superstore should take notes on how well this store is doing and apply it to their own staff/ training.

I came here a couple of times and I was super happy with the experience. I was so happy they open this location, it’s a very convenient location, the store is very organized, clean, they have several options to eat on the go. It’s a bit more expensive than the other PC stores, prices compare to Sobeys or Safeway, not sure if that’s how these independent grocer stores are anyways. Less selection than bigger stores but overall a very nice store. The staff is super friendly and I really like it.

I was at the deli counter to pick up lunch meat along with two other costomers behind me. I waited for about 5 minutes until an employee came up and said no one is available to help me until 5pm maybe? It's 4 pm. The employee then says they do this all the time with a confused look. Time to do some training with other staff...

What a great store! It is so close to our house so going to the Superstore will not be required anymore (did not like it anyway). The staff appear to be friendly and for a relatively small store there are lots of choices. The owners are quite pumped over the opening and are on FB promoting it and it looks good too! There were lots of items on sale and interesting items I had not seen before. There is a Newfoundland Purity Factories display that I had not seen before. Probably the nicest one yet. I usually go to Sobey's but might not go there either.... Worth visiting if you have not been there.

The store is showing incredible condition. Well maintained for most part other then people destroying the product. I don’t find they carry everything I need for groceries and would like to see more options for items such a chip dips, candy selections. I can’t switch from Safeway because they don’t carry fresh dog food but I can easily make it my quick shop for almost everything at a much cheaper price. I am really impressed by the employees Independent has hired, they are younger generation from my view and they are all so friendly, energetic and willing to do anything for you. One girl in the bakery tonight was exceptional. She went searching for a specific homemade cupcake for me which unfortunately was sold out. Regardless she made a big effort to help me at 10pm. She deserves recognition. Customer service isn’t lacking. Other then broadening the selection they did a good job. I would of preferred a better option for entrance as well as it seems quite cramped coming in due to the online pick up doors taking on part of the store but it can’t all be awesome! Good job overall!

The food selection is fantastic and fresh. The staff is friendly and are always willing to give extra help to disabled customers (in a safe manner). Items are in stock, even when they are on sale in the flyer. The PC Express Order Online, Pick it up Later works seamlessly. There’s no pick up charge if you are a PC Optimum Insiders member.

Not happy with service today. I had purchased a Chow Mein steamed noodles yesterday and today when I was about to make it I opened and realized it was molded. I called they said to come back with the package. My husband went and after 20 minutes of waiting for the Manger to come back from lunch as the front desk person had no clue how to do the transaction my husband got fed up and paid for it again. Not acceptable service at all. Yes we all need a break but you don't let someone wait for 20 Min for an item that was purchased rotten.

The store is brand new and very clean. I often go to buy cigarettes there because it is close to my house. But recently I had a bad experience, there a cashier Lu's attitude was terrible. I tried to ask him a few questions about products but he seemed very impatient, he pretended to read the files in his hand and tried to ignore my questions. I'm so disappointed by his attitude, can't see his working ethics? He treats customers differently and disrespects customers. If you had a bad day pls do not transfer to other people. Before I visited the store he looked polite in the customer service counter but he turned into a two-faced person in a blink of an eye, and sometimes saw him meet his manager with a hideous laughing full of hypocrisy, nodding and bowing like a pug who had just finished feeding food. Although your behavior looks like a cunning fox. But you can't choose customers to serve, and you can't choose colleagues to work with.

So, Sooo impressed today! Went looking to buy a holiday baked treats tray but they didn't have any. Before I could pick out anything else though the lovely young woman in the bakery came and offered to make up a custom tray just for me!! They went out of their way to find a tray that looked nice, carried it to the till and when he saw the lines were long took me through customer service!! Needless to say, I rang the bell!!!

The staff are terrible. Went there to get a couple of items that are on their newest flyer. When couldn't find the items I asked clerk near customer service desk but she was too confused to answer my question. I asked to speak to the manager. She asked if I would like her to call him. Obviously. A guy showed up and when I asked him he couldn't answer me either. He couldn't even find them on the flyer. I had show him. When I asked if he was the manager he said managed the meat department and would have to find someone in grocery. We talked a girl sitting on the floor. She told that it wasn't her fault they supply items on their flyer.

Really nice, clean store, new, has a really nice ambiance - surprisingly pleasant for a grocery store. The owners seem personable/friendly and seem to care about the community. Also, the selection and availability is fantastic; I don't know how they do it but they've always had everything we need and normally buy at the bigger stores, and then some. For example, we'd searched for two spices at numerous other grocery stores and come up empty-handed, but this store had both. They also carry products from local companies/local farmers that I haven't seen elsewhere.
