Amazing product! ..and the service was outstanding! I ordered GM curry packs online with Shah Foods to be delivered to Vancouver, I expressed concern over the timing of the delivery matching the time I needed them. Mannu from GM Restaurant responded saying he was heading to the city and would hand deliver the packs to my place to assure their arrival! So thoughtful, kind, above and beyond!! He arrived with not only my order but extra packs for me to try! GM RESTAURANT IS NUMBER 1 BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN CANADA! I highly recommend eating there if ever in Maple Ridge! Thank you again Mannu!

Our favorite grocery shop for meat, fish and spices. 1. Love their mutton (ask for quality cuts like back leg, and shoulder) 2. Whole and ground spices - great Iranian saffron 3. Fishes like Catla and Rohu and Hilsa etc. 4. Whole chicken (they will tell the skin and cute for you) Good stock, very gentle staff members

Good for Halal Meat.Grocery items are much expensive than other Halal & Desi Store.They Don't have price Tag On their most Products.Recipt is not clear about the prices of Products. No Name of Item in the Receipt. Otherwise, They Have variety of option for a single Product.Frozen Pran's item is also available which is good at least for me.Overall,You should visit yourself and see how they are doing.

Halal food shop. Reasonable price for all the meat items like beef, goat, lamb, chicken. Various options available for different parts of meat. Frozen fish and shrimp are also available there. Sometimes they offer fresh vegetables. Most of the asian masalas and baking items are also available here. Groceries like rice, daal, onions, potato are also sold. The staff are friendly and talks in different languages like hindi Bengali utdhu, arabic :p I love going there mostly for halal meats.

All you need, one of my favourite places if pantry looks empty for India Pakistani and Bangali kitchen must haves. Halal meet and chicken. My fav prematknsted BBQ chicken ???? 10 out of 10!!!

Food is expired. Briyani taste as bad as there shop smells of rotten eggs. If you need groceries or halal just go to Walmart. Better prices and friendlier staff.

MAN, I really wanted some of that sweet juicy halal pork but all I could find was pickled Kukure. Anyways the one time they did have it they said that the owners child smuggled it all for him self, ehh anyways its GREAT overall ( btw maaz I'm just joking so, don't get your panties in a twist)

Horrible horrible service very rude. I just called there to ask about specific brand of rice and one frozen item the guy on phone rudely said I don't know come here and check. After that I called central halal store and they guy told me everything I wanted to know. Shah foods have some respect for your customers.

They are robbing people in the name of Halal. Most of the products do not have a price tags and they charge hefty amount if you compare the prices from Walmart and Superstore. I bought a pickle, which is sold for $4 at Walmart, for $6. When I told him that it's being sold for $4 then he asked me to buy from them. Similar experience for other products too. I stopped buying everything from them, except halal meat.
