Love-love-love this store! The best deli meats, sausages, cabbage rolls, smoked fish (including the best salmon) and a large variety of perogies/pelmeni, etc. The staff is friendly and professional and you can tell that they take pride in quality of their products. There are always samples to try. Recently they brought lots of new foods from the "old countries". Never again be home-sick because they bring the taste of home here! Highly recommend! A+

If "craft deli" was a word (maybe it is?) I would use that to describe this place. The food is amazing and like nothing I've had before. The pepperoni is a classic! They serve this food at a local craft brewery (The Troubled Monk). Check it out if you are in the area.

The prices have gotten rather absurd; that's the only thing holding me back from 5 Stars. The in-house food they make and sell frozen is excellent quality, tastes very good, but has seen a massive price hike in the last year. For example, when they first opened their bistro, I could get a good size plate of food of several items for ten dollars. Best deal and best food in town. Today, that exact same plate is around $17! The frozen cabbage rolls have also seen a considerable price increase as well. I understand that the economic downturn on account of the government ruining everything over a flux hoax likely has something to do with it. I want to support local, European-owned businesses like this, but it has to be affordable.

Cabbage rolls are wicked awesome. Lunch was really good - I ate in the deli's dine-in area - hot Hungarian sausages, cabbage rolls and perogies were all very good. Great lunch spot - quick too.

I love the format of the new cafe. The hot plates are all filled with delicious food of every variety. They don't have any complicated combos or deals. They just keep putting good food on your plate until you are satisfied. You pay for whatever is on your plate and the prices are very reasonable.

Do you live in Red Deer or are just driving by ? IF YOU LOVE FOOD - YOU HAVE TO COME IN! Viva Dali is my favorite store! It has THE BEST authentic UKRAINIAN, RUSSIAN AND GERMAN FOOD IN ALBERTA! I go there whenever I crave sausage, smoked fish, meat, pierogies, pelmeni and cabbage rolls (all those are made from quality (!) ingredients in store, and can be bought hot/fresh or frozen). They also sell a lot of prepackaged Ukrainian, Russian and German food sweets, and some household products. The place is owned and operated by a Red Deer family that are German/Russian. They learned the craft in Germany! I have been to Germany many times, and lived in and Ukraine and Russia, but I have never had any smoked meat or fish that are THAT good! I can't get over their smoked salmon and sausages! My boyfriend will only eat the Viva Dali perogies! And I will only eat Viva Dali pelmeni! The owners and very friendly and a pleasure to chat with. Just stop by and see for yourself!

I was coming in looking for a traditional dry pepperoni that doesn't need refrigeration and the staff was so great letting me try different ones for free until I found one I was happy with, great service, great product!! Great little gem! Got there just as the peperoni were coming out of the smoker, if anyone is wondering what happiness tastes like, it tastes like still warm peperoni right out of the smoker. They have fantastic pelmeni as well. I will definitely be back.

I bought your frozen cabbage rolls at the Italian Centre shop in Edmonton and cooked them for lunch today. The rolls are so good! I'm super fussy about cabbage rolls because my mother's were the best. I'm going to go back and buy a few more packages to keep in the freezer. Would love to try your other items if I could buy them in Edmonton.

If you like Polish, German and Ukranian food then you must visit the Viva Deli! Everything is homemade and delicious. There is a large variety of food to pick from in the restaurant side. Perogies, Sausages,Cabbage Rolls and Borscht along with many other items. Everything is nice.

Unpleasant personal and a lot of expired products, be careful when buying, a lady at the till told me that those cakes are fresh but when I opened it at home there was mould everywhere inside the cake! It was said best before 2018! NOT RECOMMEND !!!!! Be careful! More than sure there are more expired products, not everything is written in English, but if you ask personal, they gonna lie to you that it’s fresh cause they just need to get rid of it !!!!!
