Grumpy old guy? I would call him an interesting old-fashioned character butcher, German accent...the whole bit...like going back in time. We have been using his roast beef and smoked meat in our restaurant for decades. When you go into his shop it is really an experience unlike buying meat in a chain store.

If you are looking for great meat and German Bratwurst and Weißwurst - this is a good place to find it.For special cuts like Rouladen you have to call in advance. The place is a little old and so is the owner, a original German Schlitzohr.

The owner is a grumpy old guy who doesn't know the first thing about customer service. He is gruff and rude. We had 4 pigs done by him and, among other things, he didn't even smoke the bacon, it's just sliced pork!! When we called and asked about it he got mad and wouldn't even listed to what the problem was, he just hung up. Never again, even if he were the last butcher on earth!!! If there was a negative star, he would get it.

I would get my meat here over any grocery store. It's Clean, affordable, well kept, and so many delicious options. Burgers were a hit, absolutely love the back bacon & the pepperoni sticks were out of this world. 10/10 will be repeat customers. Thank you for such great service!
