I used to buy only from Sobeys due to them carrying ADL cheese & having good gluten free products. Since they switched to panache prices went up, quality went down, & the panache gluten free stuff made me sick, so it probably isn't even gluten free.

The West Royalty Sobeys is a fantastic place to shop becuase they not only offer a wide variety of everything you could need but they are a community focused store that treats their customers like a member of the family. I have always has consistently excellent shopping trips at this Sobeys, and most recently I had the opportunity to be truly thankful for their continued kindness. I would like to send a big thank you to the store's Manager Carl for his part in making Mother's Day truly special for my Mom. You can see how this Sobeys is such an outstanding place to shop when you have people like Carl, who possess a genuinely caring heart for his customers, are at at the head of the store. Not impressed, I picked up chicken wings on sale for $8, but at the cash was charged $13.99 even though I explained they were in the freezer bin marked $8, then my bok choy rang up as $4., and it was supposed to be $1.99..at this point I just left it behind. Safe to say there's a reason I dont shop Sobeys too often!

Could find so many Asian foods but not all. The only place I'd suggest for groceries. Don't bother for airmiles and all, its of no use when Time and money is compared. Self checkout would make the visit more easier.

Went to this store to specifically pick up one item, veggie mix for spaghetti sauce, from the produce section. The shelf was empty but the ladies quickly chopped all of the veggies and did so with a smile. Great service!

Sobeys NEVER disappoints!! They are always fully stocked, and the produce section always has a wonderful, fresh variety of fruits and veggies. The store I normally shop at is always out out of Organic strawberries, but Sobeys ALWAYS has them. They may be a little bit pricier, but at least they always have what I need.

Most people on the island claim that sobeys meat is the best. I'm not so sure about that however, as I said it is generally of good quality.

This Sobey's is pretty good. Most of the staff are nice and friendly. I like that they are opened later on Sundays than other grocery stores. I miss them being open all night and do wish they could be open until at least 12am but I understand because of Covid that they have to close earlier. I would recommend this store.

Good selection but a bit pricey. Environmentally, Sobeys is the worst of the big chains. Not only do they not promote using your own bags but they make it hard. Basically, if you don't want a bunch of bags in the landfill, they aren't interested. Even packing your own bags for speed isn't easy due to their bagging set up. We won't go again due to this, id give them 2 stars for that if they didn't have good quality food products.
