I just started a job next door to Barykin and at this point I’m basically working to buy food there because I can’t stop buying their food. This is the BEST FOOD I’ve had in all of Nova Scotia! To anyone passing through Port Hawkesbury or whatever the case may be, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

My fiance and I just moved from Calgary, AB and we ordered some seafood chowder with scones. The soup was fantastic and the seasoning was spot on. The scones were amazing as well. The customer service was absolutely great! Very friendly and we can't wait to eat from here again.

store is in the mall beside Walmart! we had to drive around a bit before we realized lol. local hot sauce selection was great - can’t pass that up! came looking for cape breton oat cakes after hunting them down for days all over the island. barykin did not disappoint. :)

Wow!! The food is amazing!!! Fresh, crisp ingredients and big chunks of meat on the freshest bread ever!! Fast, friendly service at very reasonable prices. Do yourself a favor and eat there!! I'll be back for sure!!

We got curbside pick up for some seafood chowder and scones. The chowder came frozen but once heated up on the stove does not taste frozen, but is absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned! The scones are perfectly cooked and not dry. The lady who helped us was also extremely friendly and helpful. We are definitely going to be regulars ! Thank you Barykin!
