Definitely my favourite butcher in Toronto. If you want a nice cut of meat or if you want a different cut, you will surprised how much those guys like their job. Cooking tips, meal suggestions or simply to order something in advance.. You won’t be disappointed. Everything they do they do it with passion. Once you find a butcher like that in Toronto, you won’t go anywhere else. If you have a chance, try their tomato sauce. I was extremely sceptical when they offered it to me but now that I tried, I won’t have to make my own anymore. Cheers to all their team!

This little butcher shop is a hidden a gem. It's just south on Pape off the Danforth. Only locals know about it. All the staff knows their stuff and the customer service is outstanding. If you live off the Danforth I highly recommend supporting this family run butcher shop by getting your meats there. Often when we have a large party I'll pre-order ka-boobs for the BBQ to save time and hassle.

Additionally, the fact that the price is extremely fair makes Ellas a no brainer. Goodbye grocery store meat, you have been replaced for good! If you're anywhere near the area, this has got to be your go-to.

Best butcher ever point. Our go to for almost everything. You can call in advance for special orders. The lamb chops are a bit pricey but out of this world and beefs cuts are good value. Plus, the staff is always welcoming and of good advice :)

They will all go out of there way with that extra little bit of old fashioned service to answer your questions, cut/grind your meat precisely to how you like it, and offer suggestions if needed. My visits are always relaxed and stress free . I look forward to going there, and have hosted many small and large gatherings using Ella's products. Everyone loves the food. Grab the homemade tzatziki and some delicious feta when you are there! ????.

Read and heard good things about Ellas so decided to place an order for Christmas Eve pick-up. Simple order solution online, and luckily they suggested I call ahead for my pick-up so they could bring it out to me, because there was a line up about 20 people deep today! Reluctantly went in today to avoid a trip to my fav GRK place. The staff was slow, I asked for 2 lamb sticks and a half dozen chicken. Was charged for 4 lamb sticks and the meat head only put 3 in the pack. Apart from that the 6 chicken sticks were practically gray and smelled like rotten fish. Lesson learned - I've never been a fan of this spot and will certainly not go back. Giving them one star too many.

When I go into Ella’s it’s the only time that I regret that we don’t eat more meat! The staff takes such care to made sure that the product you buy is perfect. I bought pork for weiner schnitzel and the care that the owner’s brother took, taking off the extra fat, slicing the meat thinly than putting the meat through a tenderizing machine ... was amazing. I have bought the best lamb I have ever tasted from this store and their osso bucco was fantastic. I highly recommend this store.
