Tomleys market has a special place in my heart. Iv been shopping here for 14 years and in the last 2 years they have come under new ownership and it's been the best yet. Iv Always been treated like family. Love the selection of Korean food as well as fresh snacks made daily. Highly recommended.

I was expecting a corner store. To my surprise the selection and prices were wow. Even gluten free choices (I'm celiac). I was popping in hoping for a couple veggies to add to a stir fry -- prices and selection, will be making this store a weekly regular spot.

Very nice place! A local business where you can buy an assortment of Korean products on the shelves, such as pre-packaged soups, noodles, etc., as well as the ingredients for well-known Korean dishes such as kimbap. Ask the staff and they can help you to the right ingredients. But more importantly, they have hot-food, like bulgogi and jeyuk-bokkeum (meats), as well as excellent cold products: radish kimchi (spicy and not), for a great price in large quanities, pickled eggs, etc. They also have a growing take-out and delivery menu, with some Korean dishes that I'm not sure you can get anywhere else in town (in addition to stapples like bulgogi and tteokbokki). Highly recommend for your specialty grocery needs, although they do have a selection of vegetables and regular products, too.

Further update: I visited tonight to pick up some great items like Korean seaweed and noodles. The owner and her son explained how to cook the noodles, what base to use, and the owner even gave me some homemade sauce to put over the soup. They have taken my noodle game to a whole new level. I can't wait to try cooking these Korean noodles. I love visiting this store. It is my favourite corner store in Victoria. What wonderful and kind people! Thank you for making my day. Update: I visited again tonight and was able to obtain everything from seaweed salad to delicious oranges, Portofino bread, free range eggs, and ice cream and brownies. The owner is delightful and the store has so much to offer. I hadn't been into this corner store for a while. It looks freshened up. They have an amazing section with homemade Korean food now. There are lots of different items that one can take away to eat. There are even sandwich and pop combos that are very reasonable. This would be a great place to grab a meal if one were working in the area or for students on the way to the university or college. Plus a lot of people don't even cook much now so it's a great asset for the neighbourhood. They have quite a large produce section for a corner store, lots of interesting dry goods including international items, and they have Portofino baked goods including bread and cakes. I was really impressed. They are friendly and kind. I will definitely be back.

Sweetest staff and delicious homemade Korean food! I stopped by to pick up some ramen and was informed I picked the spiciest one. The store clerk brought me a Melona popsicle and told me this would help if it was too spicy and gave it to me on the house!

Tomley's Market has been a literal god-send for my roommate and I. We moved into the neighbourhood not too long ago and dreaded having to walk all the way to Save-on for groceries. Tomley's Market has literally everything you could need: Snacks, ground coffee, veggies, homemade Korean food (which is absolutely delicious by the way), dairy, toiletries. You name it, they probably have it. Even though they are located in such a quiet neighbourhood Tomley's is always busy. The owner is the kindest human on the planet and treats us with kindness that has more than once brought a tear to my eye. I studied abroad in Korea last year and having this little piece of it so close to my home now is more than I could have ever asked for. Thank you 감사합니다! 노무, 노무 감사합니다! 당신이 최고 입니다!
