Fantastic! Great prices on meat, and really good sales. They have a ridiculous selection of salami in the deli!! Everytime I go there I leave happy. Very friendly staff, clean, organized store. And such a wonderful location! So close to home very convenient bus access.

this kid named max blonde hair scruffy looking guy helped me find the Bakery, Bread, Meat, Seafood, Pasta, Rice, Oils, Sauces, Salad, Dressings, Condiments, Cereals, Breakfast Foods, Soups, Canned Goods, Frozen Foods, Dairy, Cheese, and Eggs.Really great guy i borrowed him for like half an hour we really hit it off.

Great market with lots of foreign and harder to find foods, but this fairway doesn't carry as much selection as the one on Mckenzie. Has a larger selection of European and British fair, but less Eastern foods which a little disappointing. Overall pretty great though.

For me, preferable to save on or thrifty's. Comparable prices, choice, lines, produce--but much more pleasant to be in. Doesn't have obtrusive music. Less crowded...so maybe I shouldn't be writing this.

This is our closest Fairway and it's very friendly with lots of fresh produce and great prices, but it needs to be MUCH BIGGER to fit in all the fans. The Oak Bay Rec hot tub friends all agree, "we'd like you to please take over the Safeway."

Good local supermarket. Customer service could be improved. Would be nice if shelf stacking staff said hello and smiled or asked if you need help as they walk past. Checkout staff are great. Overall its a good experience.

Won't pay their staff a fair wage and don't treat them very well so they are constantly hiring new employees. Don't trust their deli or their produce, I've seen rotten stuff on the shelves before. Employees usually don't last longer than 6 months so nobody knows what they are doing. I avoid this place.

Used to go here all the time when I lived closer. It has good prices and generally very good produce. The store is smallish though and the selection for some items is limited.

It’s... a grocery store. Quality and product range is sub par. The place has had multiple issues with it, including faulty management over the years. Majority of cashiers are great - same with the stock clerks yet the cleanliness of the store varies.

Fairway market is my number one go to grocery store. If you are a neighborhood client they often make you feel like family. My only complaint is with using ministry food vouchers meant for use without I.D. . The more inexperienced may turn you away if they have no confidence, or understanding of using these (which in my experience was a little embarrassing and upsetting).

A great selection of foods from the Netherlands and the UK, including pickled onions, treacle and a nice assortment of British Sweets. They also carry a nice selection of curry sauces, pastes and powders, a small assortment of various foods from Korea Japan, Indonesia and China. The store also carries an excellent selection of fresh fruitcabd vegetables, a wide assortment of baked goods and a deli counter carrying salads, a wide array of meats and cheeses that can be sliced to your desired thickness as well as an array of prepared goods like sandwiches and assorted fresh salads.

I was stunned when I did my shopping yesterday for the first time in a long time, that none of the staff other than the cashiers were wearing face masks. There was no crowd control. And no cleaning of the carts or the baskets. What are you thinking? I am truly disappointed. There are many people at risks in this community and for some reason you've chosen to ignore the most basic requirements.

The worst market/grocery store ive ever been too. Completely over priced , 6 employees standing around and 1 of the slowest cashiers working ive ever seen. The most painful, cringiest experience ive ever had in a grocery store. Payed 8$ for cookies that will crack your teeth. -6/10

The checkout was dreadful. The poor cashier had to deal with a gentleman and it was time consuming. There were 2 folks ahead of me who were exasperated. There was staff around. It would have been polite if they had opened another desk. I was worried my bananas would be ripe before I got to the check out desk
