This place is a valuable lesson in not judging a book by its cover. The small unassuming shop is easily passed, but once you make your way to the counter at back you'll be glad you stayed. Great steaks and seafood, sliced and preserved meat, and wonderful cold smoked salmon are available here for fairly reasonable prices. Every time we visit the area we go to this great spot.

Our local meat market...Sobey is always friendly and helpful. This is a relic of days gone by that has an old country atmosphere. However, I have learned to check the expiry dates on shelf items.
