Good spot for a sandwich and a brew. Window ordering and table delivery with COVID precautions. Bike racks available as its just off the trail. Sit on the deck or on the assorted tables around the deck and enjoy the summer sun with a pint.

Love love this place! Awesome meats, healthy cruelty free alternatives- free range eggs and free range chicken available to purchase. Pepperoni, sausage, steaks, all high quality. Family run business, all very friendly. They even have ice cream and places to sit outside.

So many good things to say about this place and the lovely employees who always have a smile. Sausages are amazing, as is the seafood chowder mix and don't get me started on the incredible made fresh donuts. We buy routinely buy their fresh eggs, ground meat, back bacon and pepperettes. They also have lots of preserves (mustard pickles & beets). They even have scoop icecream and a great outdoor family friendly area to enjoy it (picnics benches on a beautiful grassy lawn under huge graceful trees). These guys stayed open during the pandemic and morphed the way they did business to allow you to order in advance and pickup contact free. I'm such a fan!!

Lovely outdoor view on the new deck while enjoying a variety of kitchen prepared meal offerings thanks to locally sourced meat. Super friendly service. You can get meat to go, along with a few choice pastries, coffee and even Ice Cream. Fully Licensed with local craft brews on hand as well. Enjoyed out lil' stop after a visit to Peggy's Cove.

Great service? YUP. Great food? YUP. Great place for kids? YUP. What more could you ask for? We rely on Cavicchi's for a break from cooking, a treat for the kids after a long week, bones to keep the pups happy and so many great options for keeping the fridge and freezer stocked. We will be back soon.

Cavicchi's has the best BACON around! I always grab some for my Caesar salad! Their sausages are a staple in our house, and they have peanut free ice cream on hand for our children who are allergic. Their patio is a great place to stop for a cold drink or ice cream after a walk or bike ride!

Nice little store. Not what I expected but staff friendly enough. Lots of good quality food and top knotch sausage. Only reason that i gave 1 less star is that when i came in i wasnt sure what was what and when I looked around the corner the lady jumped on me like i was doing something wrong but there was either no signs or i missed it. I dont know. That put me off but the quality of product makes up for it for me.

Great spot, we had the Reuben and Smoked Meat. Both were excellent, the smoked meat sandwich at Cavicchi's is definitely a new favorite for us. The soup was delicious, service was awesome, the space was very clean, tidy and neatly decorated. Definitely a gem in Tantallon!

A guest brought us a box of your gourmet donuts tonight .. I had a vanilla dip with a ginger cookie and caramel drizzle , my kids who don’t typical enjoy many sweets each had one and loved every bite ! So so fresh , fantastic flavour combos … we will be in for more SOON ! Delicious !!

If you are out in the Tantallon area - and even if you're not - head down St Margaret's Bay Rd to this gorgeous home-turned-shop for fresh veggies, gluten and MSG free meats, and sausages! Enjoy an ice cream seated in the shade of their spacious side yard and don't forget to grab your pup a frozen raw bone to chew on! Wonderful family-run business, fantastic prices, and a great way to support local.

We stopped in to see what they had after tasting their sausages we bought at Sobeys which were lean & delicious. We were very impressed at their product offerings & stayed for lunch, sampling their delicious reuben sandwich. The atmosphere is very quaint & warm & the service was friendly & helpful as well as knowledgeable. We will definitely return & try another menu item. We left with some Greek sausage which we look forward to trying!

I went there because they offered a convenient time and helpful suggestion for hanging my deer. However, they are very expensive to get a deer cut and they do not take a lot of care with the cuts and flimsy wrapping. Definitely not worth the money and will not go back in future years.

Took our deer here and what we received back was awful. Not sure what we paid for….dirt and leaves in the meat, thrown through a saw and put in loose bags. We had to re-do all the meat once we got it home and try to salvage what we could. Not butchered properly at all. Asked for ground and roasts and received the deer sawed up into random pieces. In 20 plus years combined hunting experience have never seen anything like it. If your looking for someone to run it through a saw, that’s all they do.
