This meant I only bought what I could carry in a small hand held basket. Most rolling baskets were at the Exit side on the very opposite end of their entryway. Grab one there before you enter.

Check your receipt EVERY TIME BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS STORE! There’s at least one wrong price on 75% of my visits. Seriously. That’s not including the ridiculously high chance that no shelf price is visible (especially in Produce - and none of the produce staff will know the prices). Prepare for surprises. But aside from this kind of very shoddy management and hidden gouging, it’s not a terrible store.

The produce is great, prices are pretty good. But there are no price tags on so many items. Also the cashiers do not pay attention to the 50% stickers. And everytime we shop, there is a price discrepancy on the items that are priced. It's a grocery store. Prices should be clearly marked and reflecting in the system! Best location in town for grocery shopping. Typically they have the largest and best selection. Typically very few issues with running out of stock. Good deli, boxed lunch and sushi sections as well. Trips can get a little expensive, but that's part of living this far north.

I've called and explained the situation. Nancy was the person I talked to, she was very nice and helpful. Same as when I was in the shop for the refund, the person was patient and helpful even though there was a problem with the system while she's helping me. I like my experience with this shop.

Of the three grocery stores in Yellowknife, this is by far the most superior. The staff is always so friendly and extremely helpful, the produce is the freshest, and the prices are extremely reasonable considering we are in the North. They have Joe Fresh products which is always a hit for my family and their deli has excellent selection. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owner Trevor and he is an extremely kind and knowledgeable person who is always there to help when needed. I recommend this grocery store to all my friends and family in Yellowknife as well as any visitors that come to Yellowknife to visit. A+++ for Trevor's! Keep up the excellent work!

As far as grocery shopping goes I really enjoy coming here. The staff are always helpful and friendly which I especially appreciate since I usually shop with an infant in tow. I had some confusion and frustration with the PC Plus card converting to PC Optimum but the staff were really helpful with helping me get that fiasco all sorted out!
