Great grocery store. Has a little bit of everything for everyone. Their meat selection has lots of different choices of cuts of beef. Their butcher will also custom cut you something - just ask. Great cannoli's too from their bakery too. They fresh fill them for you.

I received flowers from my friend on my birthday and they were beautiful and she bought them at Stongs! I have been in now three times and bought flowers they are amazing and I have been telling everyone to go and buy flowers from Stongs they are lovely-the people who work in the flower section some of them are florists and it really makes a difference-definitely a "cut above" the other grocery stores and the level of a flower shop. The cut flowers last close to two weeks.

I love the staff, the cleanliness, the way every product especially the meat, deli and produce department does everything with such INTEGRITY...you can turst the rpoducts..and they help you if something isn't in....I have had many laughs, and warm conversations over the years-so THANK YOU!! I live in North Vancouver-however I still shop at the Dunbar Stongs!!! the meat department as far as I am concerned is one of the BEST in this entire city......all areas...and the deli..is awesome...the BBQ chickens...I would fly in from another country to pick them up!!!! You are all amazing! and my daughter grew up in your store-now that she is econd year Broadcast and media...she should do a film on your store!!! and the making of The New Stongs In NV....All the best to you!!!

I've visited twice and must say I'm impressed. I bought a spinach, goat cheese and mushroom pizza that was fantastic. My parents wanted me to grab some naan, Heyder was nice enough to show me where it was and even gave me reccomendations on the second visit, lastly, their Éclairs are very European and well made. I actually think the quality of food is better than Whole Food's, and reasonably priced for the quality I bought.

It is so wonderful to have Stong's in our neighbourhood, I have found this new location to be very clean, the staff are so friendly , knowledgable and go out of their way to help . The pizza is delicious we have stopped ordering from panago which is next door now! the organics selection could still be improved upon but they do carry some harder to find items , I would however like to see some truffle salt become available :) overall this is a really great addition to the district and look forward to my shops there !

This is a lovely place to shop! There is a really interesting selection of products to buy and wonderful specialty items. The flower and gift department is awesome! I love the take home pizza’s. The egg salad sandwiches from the deli are the next best thing other than having my Mom’s...and she makes the best! The bakery is delightful with a ton of delicious offerings. The staff are all very friendly and helpful! I always have a pleasant experience here.

Many thanks to Stong Market Express delivery service. It was first time for us to have their delivery service. We are pleased for their excellent service. We received the goods that we ordered. Every item was of good quality. Driver was very friendly and came on time. As seniors (we are in 80 – and 80+) we were not good for on line shopping. Mr. Tyler, who is in charge of delivery service, was very friendly accepting the order by phone and email. It is very convenient to seniors especially during this pandemic time. We will continue to have our daily grocery shopping with Stong Express Delivery service.

I do believe they will have to implement some new strategies in order to maintain a competitive advantage or else will get crushed by amazon.

Great smaller supermarket with all the essentials that you need. The best is that its easily navigatable and perfect for a fast efficient shopping visit. Good meats and produce, great selection of pastries and cheese and a cute coffee shop, Replenish, within the store with seating if you want to take a breather during your busy day or want to hook up with a friend. I love the tuna sandwiches that are ready to go....perfect quick lunch!

This is the first time at the new store location. Wow, very well laid out, and being so close to The Real Canadian Super Store, their prices are competive. I find it way easier to shop here than the "big stores" were you need a GPS tracker to find your car, and forgot that item in isle 34(d) a football field away! Lol. You get what I mean.

Nice shop with very busy staff. All is average “ok” but… I tried several times to order a salad from the salad bar. Every single time it’s a problem. There is always a big group of people behind the salad bar, that should reassure you that you will be served quickly and can get on with your lunch….well no, that’s not case here. Why? Who knows, I always order Greek salad and I always get it without the feta cheese (main component of the salad) - when I ask the staff to include the feta cheese I’m being spoken down to….”it’s all mixed” “ you can’t pick what you want” - I thought that was the reason of a salad bar …that you can choose the salad you like :O it’s just very AKWARD service here. Spoke to the “manager” several times, same rude staff same negative comments. All products are higher prices comparing to Safeway or save on foods. At least there you don’t have to stress out to get lunch..so disappointing. Have a look at the “Greek salad” according to Stongs. Feta equals gold here (####)

They have great locally sourced / organic groceries. Most of it is very pricey but the lack of competition in the area means it remains a mainstay. Biscuits often have good sales, as do baked goods late night.The meat is higher quality than most massive foodstores and is worth the price increase.

Ordered some food from deli and it was packed horribly and half prepared (some samosas microwaved and thrown into a plastic bag ) it was a pretty nasty sight to uncover an oily bag, two Samoas smooshed together..the training for the staff seems to be a bit sparatic. Always receive things packed differently and usually not well.. falling apart, unappetizing.

Nothing compares to the feel of a local grocery! You can just feel the good vibes at Stongs with staff liking their jobs rubbing off on me. While aisles are a tad narrow and require manners and passing skills, the product variety is excellent, produce area is large and I saw at least 3 eco Friendly/ natural products( i bought JackN Jill Kids toothpaste) in dog poo bags and candy section at the till.Stongs is thinking about the environment and going to paper/natural bags. Parking is no problem so get over there and support local! Nice place.

First time I ordered online they said they "couldn't charge my credit card" but for some reason decided to not email me or inform me in any way. I had to call them on the day they were supposed to deliver to find out. Three days later I checked my card statement and they did in fact charge my card. So they took money from me and told me they didn't. After eventually getting my money back, I placed another order just to try them out. The substitutions they use are ridiculous. They will try to substitute your items with the most expensive versions. Originally I ordered 3kg of oranges for $2.40/kg. They substituted this with 1kg of oranges at $8.00/kg from another brand. Seriously?

Superb selection of quality meats and cheeses, great selection of fresh produce, good selection of prepared foods, and an appealing variety of jams and teas -- to name but a few of Stong's pluses. They carry many natural and organic products too. I also appreciate the diversity of flora offered by the floral department. The store almost feels Whole Foodsesque, but instead of being a large impersonal chain, it's a family run local business. I love Stong's.

This is a really complete grocery with a large selection of excellent quality goods. You'll find unique gourmet items with deli, a great coffee bar, fresh pizza. You'll find vegan, keto and gluten-free food that a carnivore would eat. That staff are always so helpful and nice. Anytime I'm near Dollarton, this is my happy place.

I popped in here to pick up a few groceries while on the North Shore and was blown away by their thoughtful selection, friendly staff and cleanliness. Only a few blocks away is the crazy stress-inducing Superstore which I also occasionally visit—I will not go back now that I know there is a calm and sane alternative nearby. Well done, Stongs! I wish we had one in East Van! Does it cost more? Negligibly. But they offer some far superior quality product alternatives.

Sunday, Nov. 1st, I walked into Stong’s for the first time. First of all, the young lady at the coffee bar nicely directed me to the loo. I bought 2 small cups of medium roasted coffee, cheese scone & chocolate muffin which I shared with my daughter who was queuing at Arcteryx. We both agreed the coffee was really, really good. The cheese scone was deelish, the choc muffin , not so much. If I ever happen to come by this area I will most certainly buy the coffee beans/ grind of medium roasted coffee.

Decent selection of vegan and organic foods - can't speak to the meat dept, avoid it for obvious reasons...The produce selection is good for a smaller store. Good selection of bread. Not a huge store, which is nice compared to those massive warehouse type stores. Very tidy and nice, friendly staff. Doing good COVID-19 protocols ie cleaning shopping carts and baskets, sanitizer available for customers. Have store card so you can collect points for future discount, similar to Choices Markets. Prices are high but that's pretty much the norm everywhere. Buying when they have specials helps. Plenty of free parking.

Pretty average. I don't think I would choose it over Superstore. For exceptional service I will shop at Whole Foods. Some people were really friendly, but the cashier when asked if they had a certain product said she didn't know, and didn't take the time to find out either. Not a very friendly cashier, but maybe that was an exception. To me, that's important - staff knowledge or willingness to find out, and genuine friendliness.

Came to Stong's for the first time and it was a very nice store lovey staff. Had an amazing cashier named Sareena help me and we had a great conversation and she had great customer service skills. Would definitely come back and shop here and hope to have Sareena help me out again.

Over priced and over hyped is the only way to describe this new Stongs. Bought fresh fish that wasn't even close to the quality and freshness of Thrifty's (another supermarket chain). At the suggestion of the person making their roasted organic chickens, I bought one on the way home ($15.90) only to discover one of the toughest, bland and most dry chickens I've ever had. The only thing we could do to salvage it, was to turn it into a bunch of chicken salad. When I returned to complain, I was told that their oven wasn't functioning properly, though that doesn't explain the lack of taste. My advice, plan ahead and shop at Costco or the brand name stores within a few Kms of this place and save some money. Save this place for emergencies if you live close by.
