I stumbled upon Commisso's last night completely by mistake when I couldn't find any of my regular grocery stores.. I saw "Fresh" in the name and figured what the hay, it can't be that bad! Oh my word. This is foodie HEAVEN! Fresh food galore. I wanted EVERYTHING. I wish I lived next door! I'm headed back today before my trek home (many hours away). Will be returning every chance I get!

A local supermarket favourite! Best priced merchandise in the area. The store is very well organised with stocked. A upscale feel with very reasonably price groceries! Well worth your visit and you will stock your cart very willingly!

We come up here friom Toronto. They have a good selection of freshly made food to go daily. Good selection of groceries. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have a larger selection of fresh bread they have in the small store in Toronto. I didn’t expect a huge amount if bread but at least a larger selection.

Excellent friendly service and food selection. Vitamin and health section is well stocked and they will order anything you need. Owners and management team responded to the COVID crisis like champions...I always feel safe while shopping there. My only suggestion would be to add more disabilty parking spots close to the entrance.

I prefer this location for all my grocery purchase rather than going to walmart and other big stores. This is a great Boutique grocery shop. They have a lot of healthier and forward-thinking options that most grocery stores don't carry. The prices are a little bit higher but the quality is second to none. Their fish market is one of the only places I buy fish in Niagara. The gentleman behind the counter is always courteous and answers any of my questions with ease. Great coffee, great ice cream, great pizza and great sandwiches. If you're in a hurry they have plenty of options for breakfast lunch and dinner. Come check it out

I drive from St.Catharines to shop here once a week. I’m obsessed with their sushi and cabbage rolls. They have the freshest produce and such a great variety of organic products. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.

Great selection of baked goods, cheeses, meats and specially foods. Very pleased they are beginning to carry more gluten free and lactose free options. Produce could be a bit fresher though. All in all, one of our favourite grocery stores.

One of my favourite Grocery Stores in Niagara Falls. They carry many organic and speciality items. They have a great in store Deli and their coffee is the best in town. The eating area in store is quite large and bright with lots of windows. I classify Commisso's as a mini Whole Foods.

After moving to Niagara from the Burlington area I was really disappointed by the quality of grocery stores. Everything seemed to be low end, low price driven or owned by the same big company. The selection was the same at every store and the produce was sad. Until I found Commissos. It's great. Quality, fresh produce and meats. I think it's the only store in town with a real butcher shop in it. The staff is very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. If you don't see a cut you like, or need a different size they are always willing to cut a new piece. I like that the majority of staff have been there for years. I frequently go into the butcher shop and ask for recommendations from the tall friendly woman butcher or the gentleman with the nice eyes. Everyone there is excellent but over the last few years those two especially have recommended some fabulous cuts to me that my entire family loved. I also appreciate that they don't just recomend the most expensive cuts and understand if you need to work within a budget. I always find a great, well priced meal for my family at Commissos. I just wish they carried more Denningers products. Especially the cheddar sausages.

One of my favourite specialty grocery stores, they have great overall quality and very friendly staff. I shop here every week for select items. They also have the best pizza here. My only negative feedback is quite a few times I’ve come home to find a product I’ve purchased was expired which can be quite annoying for a consumer. Now I make sure to check the dates before adding things to my cart and if i do see something that's passed the date I always let a staff know at check out so they can remove it from the shelves.

Clean supermarket with fresh vegetables, variety of grocery items. There is a fresh prepared food counter with daily menu items and a large dining area where one can get fresh hot and cold beverages and eat the purchased meals. There is a selection of wines but no other alcoholic beverages. There is a very well stocked health food and supplement area.

I love this grocery store! I go to the Niagara region most weekends with my family. We often go to Commisso's to purchase our groceries for the weekend. The store is always incredibly clean and the produce is fresh, and of the best quality. The store has a fantastic cured meat counter, wonderful cheeses and the best fish store in all of the region and wonderful Italian gourmet products. If you are looking for a good quality grocery store, that would rival any New York City quality grocer, than this is a place you will love. They have a fresh food counter for lunch, and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Lastly, their staff are all very well trained, and helpful whenever you have questions. They go out of their way to be of service.

Awesome place to shop for health and organic foods - a massive selection of organic foods and food you can't find anywhere else. It's also owned by a local family, which is awesome. They also have a partnership with a local foodbank, Project Share, which is great.

I always check out at customer service and 3 times cashiers charged wrong and always bring benefits for them...2 last times I had to come back from parking lot to get my money back and this time I checked receip when I got home and I bought only 1 broccoli and how they could count 2...really? Everybody should check your receip

Very expensive, but if you can afford it it is well worth it. Amazingly fresh produce. Lots of meats and cheeses to choose from. A huge selection of vegan and organic products. Milks in glass jars can be found here, along with goats milk. Definitely one of my favorite grocery stores.

First time there and the place is pretty amazing. Great selection of meat, charcuterie, desserts, etc. We had a couple of their sandwiches which were fantastic. Can't wait to try the bread pudding with cherries for dessert tonight.

This is by far the greatest grocery store in the entire Niagara Region! The bakery makes wonderful items from desserts to breads to cakes. Awesome breakfast scones as well! The deli has great meats and cheeses, and the seafood is always top notch! Commisso's pizza is alot more tasty than most pizza places around. I can eat their pizza every day and not get tired of it! Fresh sandwiches made daily are great when toasted, and even their cappuccinos are good! Nothing bad to say about Commisso's in the least! All of their staff are very friendly and helpful, and always have a smile on their face. Great place to shop!

Poor produce, I find the hot deli pretty over-priced and not worth it. I've also found the staff to be impolite often; I saw them treating another customer quite vulgarly the other day and it was disturbing to witness. Won't be going here again, ever.

The food selection is very good. The prepared food is insanely good. This store is known for its pizzas and to be honest it betters it rivals any pizza parlour in Niagara. The staff are very friendly. The service is wonderful. The management are proactive. They can be seen on the floor and working. Involvement differentiates a great run store from a poorly run one. This one is excellently run.

It is a bit on the expensive side compared to other grocery stores....but so much more fresher and way more variety of items. This is a speciality health conscious grocery store. Many vegan and gluten free offerings. Has fresh prepared take out tables. It's in a busy strip mall. Has a supplements and vitamins area. Never have waited long to be cashed out. Bathrooms are very clean.

Unimpressed with the customer service and the overall selection and price of food. I don't mind paying more for quality produce and and deli meats/cheeses. However this place isn't worth it; The clerks are unhelpful and off-putting and the parking lot is treacherous. Not worth it. Zehrs and Farm Boy are better.

I appreciate an employee escorting my 6 year old son and I out of the store today rudely for not wearing a mask. With an exemption and medical issues, it's nice to see a local business be inclusive during these times. My son was looking forward to your pizza and gelato. Sad to say that we'll never be back. Ordered curb side pick-up and when I looked at the price and compared it to the flyer I was ordering from, I found that the cost was more than $16 over the price in the flyer. I understand I am ordering pickup for convenience but this to me is robbery plain and simple. They aren’t delivering to my home. I am picking it up. I will think twice from now on.

I am disappointed to say the least. I was denied entry into the store even after I told the store manager that I had an exemption from wearing a mask. When a business obtains a business license they are open to the public and they are not permitted to discriminate against anyone who decides not to wear a mask. I was discriminated against! My human rights was violated! I am informing Commisso's that I will be filing a complaint to the Ontario Human's Rights Tribunal.

They have sushi on sale for 25 percent off on Thursdays so I picked up a couple of trays.expecting them to be 25 percent off the price on the tag but when I checked out I found that the price on the tags are the discounted prices. Good sushi but the prices are high even at the discounted price.

Love the bakery. I would not recommend doing your regular shopping there though. The prices are outrageous. For example, $10 for 1kg Kraft peanut butter, double what most other stores charge.

Recently relocated to this area. Have been to Commisso's twice. Not willing to return. Last visit was Mother's Day. First Visit: At the deli counter I asked for regular sliced (thickness) of a salami - perfect. Asked for the same thickness in the ham (regular slice) - she shaved it!! Why? When she packaged it, I couldn't see the product so had no idea until I opened the package to make sandwiches. Nice. Simple ask....my 10-year old would have gotten it right. There was ZERO discussion about shaved product. How could someone of her advanced age and experience screw that up? Second, and Last Visit: Mother's Day I bought a Death By Chocolate cake. During the ordering and discussion of what was available, I was having difficulty hearing her speak due to my lifetime of hearing challenges; her response to my hearing issues she began literally yelling and exclaiming that no one was hearing her today. Her voice was loud enough that others including my wife were alarmed by her attitude. Not coming back. Never been so insulted by an employee at a supermarket in my life. If this is an example of how individuals conduct business in Niagara Falls, I'll be shopping out of town. Not a problem. I will never give Commisso's five cents my hard earned after tax money. Unacceptable, both visits. Bye-bye! P.S. Your fresh bread products are moldy within three days. Brutal and its not even summer!!

Purchased a cake for Father's Day, but cake was stale and had clearly been sitting out for a while. You would think that they would have put out fresh desserts that morning, given I'm sure many people were buying desserts to celebrate Father's Day. The cake was "Death by Chocolate", more like "disappointed by chocolate"...

I'm a regular customer, love the store! Two comments: I prefer face masks to flimsy plastic shields for the Deli staff. Your frozen gelato sold in containers should list ingredients, amount of sugar in particular.

First of all, do not try to find an employee to guide you or explain something. That will be a daunting action. The management is not existent, and the costumer care is not existent obviously. After you step in the store you will have a sensation of being lost into a place where if you step into something will be stinky. The employees are interested in having conversations with eachother and when you ask them of some informations about what is in the store or where in the store is located, they consider that you confronted them.

Great store with lots of organic items. I love shopping here. I appreciate that they have a tent outside for customers, protecting us from sun and rain while we stand in line to social distance due to the pandemic. One complaint is that the mini cannoli’s are not tasty at all, the filling did not taste like a true authentic cannoli, so I wouldn’t recommend that.

Commisso's is a little upper scale.I say that because it has a food court/bistro area included in it's store along with a health food store area. I do travel to the falls sometimes.Simply because their sales are so good.Then do my shopping at other stores that I have in the city that I live in that are also in Niagara Fall Ontario.

Always a pleasure to shop at Commisso's!!!! At this time of year the prices are good with many Items on sale! I love the store made Gelato and all the ready to eat foods available!!!. The Store can be a little pricier around the Holidays but always has those harder to find Items. Whether it's Gourmet items or specialty products for food sensitivities Commisso's will have it!!! Awesome store that is always clean!!

"Canadian Wegmans"... excellent. Coming from US, we wanted a Canadian grocery store to buy Canadian snacks, maple syrup, European chocolates and savory foods. It was so much fun walking around, very jealous of the Canadians that get access to these bakeries and delies every day! If you want healthy eating in Niagara falls, you can get plenty here. Sandwiches ???? are delicious...excellent meats and cheeses and breads. Also get a toasted croissant from the Cafe, imported from France and final baked here. Yum! Our new favorite stop food wise in Niagara falls.

I love certain things about this store but don't like others. I am on a specific diet so I began coming here for health foods and certain foods I can't find elsewhere and I think that it's great that they have stuff I can't find at other stores. They have a great selection of meats in the deli and cheeses as well although the lighting on there meat is the worst. I dislike how expensive it can get buying things there and sometimes you are looking for a simple item that is common and they just don't have it. I don't mind paying more for the select food items that are hard to find but their produce and meat is sometimes over priced and I find I have to go to a different store to get deals. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Waited over five minutes to be helped at the deli counter, there were no other customers In line and we had our number, there were two staff members there completely ignoring us but helping others, when we finally asked for help the girl was extremely rude and giving us dirty looks. This is the third time I’ve had issues with the staff there for simply wanting them to do their job, won’t be returning.

Love...Love...Love Commisso's Fresh Foods. I love the italian ice cream the meals to go and the bakery. As a semi-retired person and a widow dropping in to eat or pick up meals are very handy, delicious and I feel I'm eating something that is a healthier meal option. The staff are exceptional. The offering very good. I send my guests here to shop because many are looking for Organic options and Commisso's has the best offering in the area.
