This is a great place to get high quality meat. The staff is always ready to answer your question. Many times there are lineups but that's because of the popularity of Tarini's. I would highly recommend.

Excellent quality and selection. SOOOO much selection and even rare ingredients meats. I recommend the bacon, porketta and smoke salmon. It's a hidden gem of place. Price is a touch higher then most places, but actually very good for the quality, which as I said is excellently excellent. I never got a single bad or even so-so item. It has always been top notch. Staff is quite serious in tone, but not rude. They are helpful, and very quick and efficient. During Covid there is a strict policy of in and out customers, so if it is your first time visiting, you may feel quite rushed, and its very busy there.

Not happy with my experience! Spoke to someone in charge on September 25 th, told them I wanted 3 lbs of lamb fat to make a Lebanese meat preserve, I asked if they could grind it for me and was told their machine was too big for such a small order. He then told me “ don’t worry about it come in and we will fix you up.” On September 27 th my friend and I drove to Sudbury from near Blind River, only to be told they didn’t have any and haven’t had an order of lamb in for awhile. DON’T FIB TO CUSTOMERS… NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS!

This is easily the best meat shop in Sudbury. They have the widest selection of meats, and they are very high quality as well. You can taste the difference. The prices are good, and beat other competitors in town. The customer service is top notch.

Meat that can compete with the fancy steak houses in Montreal. Everyone in Sudbury knows about the porketta. The frozen sausage patties are great to stick in the freezer and fry up on low if you're ever caught with nothing to cook. Giacomo's down the street is my preferred Italian sausage, but the pork chops and t-bones here are summer time musts.

The Tarinis helped create the folk-lore that surrounds Sudbury porketta. They certainly have one of the best in the world and if you want a smaller taste try their porketta double cut pork chops. For that matter, try everything in their shop because it is all amongst the best you will find anywhere. The quality of their food exceeded only by their friendliness and attentive service. I still drive 6 to fill my freezer with their quality meats.

We purchased 3 Filet Mignon, they were pretty small and it cost us $60! When we ate them they didn’t seem to be filets. The meat did not fall apart like it would normally! Not impressed for my first visit there!

See my daughter in law’s below. My parents bought a beautiful prime rib roast from Tarini Brothers Meat Market (a VERY expensive roast to be exact) to celebrate Father's Day this past weekend. It was purchased Friday to be cooked on Sunday. It went straight from the shop to their fridge. When we went to prepare it Sunday, the minute we unrolled the paper it was clear the meat was off. It stunk and was slimy. It was incredibly disappointing but we grilled up some sausage (also from Tarinis) and said we would return it on Monday. My dad called ahead to let them know he was coming in. What followed was the most unprofessional and frankly disgusting behavior from one of the owners. My father was verbally assaulted and told never to return just for returning the bad meat. Our family has supported this business for years. What a shame. We will never set foot in this business again or any of its subsidiaries. Shame on you for not treating your customers better!

The atmosphere itself is scintillating and once you get inside the hall you will see a display of different varieties of meat and fish from different regions. The staff are cooperative and very helpful . The sausages and other meat products take prominent place in the display. Salmon, cod , tail of lobster , king crab etc are prominent in the group of seafood.

Best bacon, fresh or frozen. Awesome steaks. Fresh shrimp and scallops mmmm mm good! Cans of escargot. The kabobs are deelish. Need fish cut fresh because you have family that has crustacean allergies and can't risk an allergy reaction, they'll cut it fresh for you! Always fun with the staff. Fantastic job to all of you!

Been buying meat here for few decades mostly because of proximity. What's disappointing is the quality of the meat specifically the cuts of steak.(although not consistently but enough to warrant this review) You pay a premium price and looks good at the butcher and when comes time to BBQ and enjoy the majority of your steak is gristle and its thrown in garbage. Recently called as thought if you don't bring it forward then won't improve but was met with an employee who really gave me the impression they were to busy. I think we owe to ourselves to start to treat food like we treat other consumer goods and return it if its not acceptable especially now a good steak is more than double a good bottle of wine!

Paul Tarini, his son and the entire team are the best there is. Bought fresh London broils and a frozen, stuffed, boneless turkey tight which were both out of this world! Every time we are in Sudbury, we stop in. Totally worth it.
