I didn't experience a dirty grocery store. Is it above and beyond par during Covid-19 ...nope What I must respect is their knowledge of foods, medicinal herbs ???? natural inexpensive incense, which they can and personally can create for each client. Non-aggressive owners and trust, I usually take the front door the minute I notice arrogance or forming similarity. I really felt in the herbal section which is in the semi-basement floor. They were educating me and to boot: I was looking for specific Indian products and they had them plus a great tin more that I ended purchasing some. It is a store I have no doubt in my mind, I'll will return to.

Always come for olive oil, always leave with bags full of treats, soaps and spices. It's a cramped store but it makes it all the more fun to dig around. Lots of great imported things for a good price.

Bref ça fait bien au moral ????

Friendly service, but incredibly dirty. There are loaves of bread laying out uncovered at floor level. The same spices and olives are out left open and uncovered. Very unsanitary... I would recommend visiting the Boucherie al Khair (5 min away) instead. Clean and well-organized. This place could do with an overhaul.

IF i could leave a ZERO I would. NEVER even bother wasting your time with this place. Never met anyone so rude as the owners of this place. They sell you cheap tajines (still 70$) that break the first time you use it and when you tell them about it they say "well I can't do anything if you want I sell you another one". Really tried to support them despite the terrible attitude towards clients, but if you're looking for an authentic maghreb place to get your products go right next door to Boucherie Al-Khair. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT L'OLIVIER.

Pas besoin d'aller loin pour trouver mieux, ce commerce continue d'exister uniquement à cause de son emplacement privilégié dans le Marché Jean-Talon.
