Racist so very racist I speak a little polish as my husband is polish and have taught my some polish,even say thank you in polish since i work upstairs i try to keep a good relarionship with them but they are so rude and unkind. Also the food is made a well before not freg unless they happen to run out peirogies go.for.days until there hard and there beans are microwaved and then put out on the steamer.....disgusting. speildali

I travel out of my way [20 minutes ride] to get some of their meat products which they manufacture themselves [and I do have another Polish deli right across the street from me, but their deli cuts are not as great, so it is worth the trip for me]. Try their veal wieners (cielece parowki) or frankfurter wieners (frankfuterki) which are served boiled - and they are DELICIOUS!!!! So is : chlopska, wroclawska, kabanosy, piwna - ALL THEIR OWN made in house. Racist? No, definitely NOT! Try to be a good observer and see that persons who work there have a language barrier and their English tone might come across as rude, but believe me - this is just the accent. I believe it would be more obvious for people if they were dealing with someone from e.g. India... So cut those girls some slack please. And if You do not like their hot plate and/or salad bar - You do have other choices in the area. Hot plate is not my thing but a few times that I tries some - it was quite delicious.

Good choice of food, place smells bad...they don't air it I guess...after 10 min. you and your hair smell like kolbasa.

I love many of the deli cuts which are made in house by the owner. I also travel from far away, because their stuff tastes great. Veal wieners ? YES!!!!!!!!! Just for those - the trip is worth my travel time. And whatever the Gonzo guy wrote - I would agree. Also they carry some other stuff (like sweets, fresh baked buns) that are delicious as well... It is a small store, but I like personal service. This is the only place for me to shop for European tasting deli meats.

The food is good but if you re not polish or "white enough" you re not gonna feel very welcome. They really give you attitude.

Absolutely fabulous food! They make their own meats, sausages, etc right at the back of the store. I live 180 kms away but whenever I'm in Mississauga, I have to shop here ????
