Without a doubt the best meat shop in SE Alberta. Their death row steak is literally the last thing I would want to eat before I die. Mike, Mark, and crew are very knowledgeable about their craft. Their is a reason so many local restaurants use them as their supplier. The proof is in the pudding.....yorkshire pudding.

While I was closing the doors on my semi trailer outside Mike's I was offered some beer bites by a guy ! I said I didn't know what he was talking about and he told me to wait a minute, he ran inside the shop and came back with a bag of beef jerky chunks and said have a nice day! That was a memorable and rare experience for a truck driver, and the beer bites were excellent. They are quite chunky, not like strips of jerky these are bite sized. Really flavorful, surprisingly very tender, next time I pass I'll be a paying customer, I hope you have all the success an excellent product and being nice people can bring you.

We live in Cochrane and we love their meats so much....in particular the tri tip infused roasts, that we Will make the trip there or ask a friend to pick them up for us who happens to be passing through Medicine Hat. The service is friendly and efficient and the meats superior!!

#1 meat shop that I've ever been to. The death row tenderloin is a request from every guest at my home. My kids love the death row marinade as well. Aside from the steak, I like the variety of food and road snacks.
