Convenient store to go to. BUT...... Why check everyone's bags at the exit (like Costco). If you are concerned about shoplifting, then give customers your bags so that you know they went through check-out and not just leaving with some stolen items in our own carry-in bags. I will not shop there again. Wait in line, then wait again at the door.... If I wanted that, then off to Costco I go.

Lacks east Indian groceries. Considering the number of east Indian that live here, this walmart doesn't offer much. We have put in multiple requests on items that are available in other locations but they don't bring it. They also don't have much variety of fruits and vegetables. Some workers are incompetent, they mumble back at customers alot, even the self check out is barely any help. Maybe it's time for the company to have managers and employees to read the guide books again or have some employees be Retrained. Make your store better. Take initiative. Worst walmart in the city. Whoever is in charge of their stock needs to be let go. They have been out of basic items on many trips: milk, ice cream, allen keys, thank you cards. Save yourself some time and drive the extra 5 minutes to deerfoot meadows, where you know you'll find what you need.

A bit messy and found that their price matching policy is different than all the other Walmarts that I've been to. The excuse was that different stores and different budgets so they choose what to match? Not sure where that came from but the Walmart at MacLeod and Southland, Detroit meadows and McKensie Towne never hesitate to price match. I think I recommend to skip this location. The staff seem like they want to help bit the managers do not.

Definitely not the best Walmart I've visited, but a great relaxed Walmart perfect for a visit if you live near by. People visiting are almost always friendly, and employees are always there when you need help. If you're coming here for fresh produce and meat products, I will warn you this location is not a Walmart superstore which means it does not carry those products. Relatively clean and empty.

A Wal-Mart that actually has staff that can usually answer questions/ help. Parking is nearby & other customers are reasonably polite (unlike many Kamloops Wal-Mart: parking can be a miles away & customers are just rude!!) I just wish management would stop putting people in the electronics area that clear no nothing about electronics... or create a "TECH CHALLENGED" button for those staff... so I don't waste either of our time.

Walmart does have some of the lowest prices online! One of the things I love most about Walmart is the top-notch selection of unique professional vendors, you honestly get more selection from their online stores than their bricks and mortar. Walmart stays true to traditon with low and matching comparable prices, and the delivery is very quick. I have always gotten my order exactly has promised, and sometimes before I expect it! Its a great website with all the bells and whistles. It offers a tried and true shopping experience.

If I could rate this Walmart at a 0 I would. The staff are completely oblivious as to what they sell, or where anything is. Everyone is just standing around chatting. I spent a half an hour looking for a staff member, found two chit chatting, to be sent the wrong direction twice. Finally went to the staff member and asked them to walk me there, the staff walked me too two other staff members chit chatting on the side and they had no idea where anything was.

I love our Walmart. I wish it was a supercentre but being not one has it's advantages as well. Being smaller it's not very busy but a great place to easily drop into and pickup items needed that are far more expensive at convenient stores. It also has a pharmacy and it is actually quicker to buy from than the 7-11 nearby

Dingy, small and uninviting...all they did was change the color scheme and take out the restaurant when they took over from Zellers. Most of the time the hair salon is closed and the nail salon is always empty. Better to drive 5 minutes north or south on Deerfoot and shop at one of the Supercentres.

This Walmart serving cottage country is amazing! The employees are friendly and the store is clean from what I saw. The store is the old Walmart design, giving it that old school vibe. It wasn't as busy as the Walmarts in Toronto, ironically. It is located right off of the Highway 11.

It's a Wal-Mart with a small selection for a small town. Staff is generally very nice, love the greeters. Downside is that products are usually not very organized, and there are often palettes of goods in the middle of high-traffic walkways. Weird perpetual fart smell that kicks up in some aisles, which is weird??? Prices are usually reasonable as well.

Worst selection of merchandise I have *ever* seen in a Walmart for a city that size! Staff are sort of available but only at the till. I have never seen anyone at the customer desk. Change rooms take twenty minutes to get someone to open them. HO and HR really need to look at this location and make some changes. The store smells funny and looks like a garage sale warehouse half the time.

I am utterly disgusted with the customer service I received at the McDonalds in this Walmart. Not only did the front counter employee not acknowledge the line up of people, she didn’t have any customer service qualities! I asked if I could order a sausage McMuffin in a meal...her response in a montone didn’t wanna be there voice “ the sausage McMuffins don’t come in meals” upon research on the McDonalds website I come to find that in fact they do come in a meal, and this employee needs to be re-trained on the menu and also in how to deal with customers.

I like this Walmart more than other because it is NOT a supercentre. It has everything but not a huge selection of food. It has the basics like milk, bread and pantry items. The only downside is that it was never really updated from the old Zellers that was there. You can tell they did bare minimum to convert it to a Walmart.

Prices seem to be different from Walmarts in bigger towns on a lot of items; the three star is because the only department that has an inkling of customer service is electronics. I shop there weekly, multiple times most months, get followed around depending on how I am dressed, whether my tattoos on my arms show or not, and have NEVER stolen a thing. I always pay, am always friendly and polite, and even worked there years ago as an independent contractor with no negative issues. Very discriminatory towards people of colour; especially first nations shoppers.

This Wal-Mart location is never busy and pretty well stocked. It doesn't have a produce section like the super centres do, but on Black Friday I walked in with no line and was able to get all the deals I wanted. If you want to go to a Wal-Mart and not seal with the hassle of crowded aisles and huge lines, this is a secret gem.

Walmart is Walmart; it's familiar and mostly reliable. Having said that, both the mall and Walmart signage look so ghetto and run-down from the path along the water (where people are taking walks all day long in an effort to take in the view and get some fresh air). Honestly, a little bit of upkeep would go a long way in making the Walmart brand look better in the Prince Rupert location; as it stands, it's slowly working its way to becoming the next Highliner Inn (the ghastly post-apocalyptic looking hotel nearby).

Nothing is labelled correctly. There are different products even if they're in the same row. Customer service will not even consider an exchange on some items because of "covid rules" but that's false as other walmarts exchanged them with no problem. Always double check items you put in your cart.

Bought a box of power bars. Didn't realize that the box was opened. Cashier said oh the box is open. I said oh a didn't realize that and asked her if they were all there. She quickly looked. Yes they are. Only to realize later that I was missing one. I live out of town and was only passing thru. Could not get credit unless I returned the entire box. This place is bad even for a Wal-Mart. Not allot of selection and staff can be unfriendly and useless. On a good note you can usually get in and out quick and if something is sold out at another Wal-Mart, things move slow enough you get another chance to get them here. It would get a higher score of they could manage to stay in stock position regularly.
