First order was brilliant! We ordered a sous vide ready steak, some bacon, a pork roast, and some bacon. Two of four have been sampled so far, the bacon is slated for tomorrow, and the pork butt is on the smoker the following day, and if these two follow the trend, then the Meat Company is going to see a lot more business from us! Excellent cuts, flavorful, worth every penny. The garlic sausage is had a beautiful smoke undertone, and was a magnificent chunk size. Well done Meat Company, thank you for bringing meat and good butchering back!

You have to try this! Found this site and ordered a brisket and two New York steaks to try! Amazing! Steak's were the best had for as long as I can remember. Received praises all around. Brisket was the first I have ever cooked and after a 5 hours smoke and a total cook and rest of 9 hours low and slow, AMAZING! These guy's just became my go to meat provider, best service from cut to delivery hand's down! See photos below. Sorry, no photos of the steaks cooked and cut as they were consumed before I could get a shot!

I just want to share what a great experience The Meat Company has been. Easy delivery, Easy ordering, and a great deal on the Premium Meat Box. Thanks for throwing in the two bonus garlic rings and promo perogies. The meat looks fantastic, nicely wrapped ready for the freezer. We grilled the Ribeyes last night and they were melt in your mouth tender! So Good! Great company I highly recommend. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I found out about the meat company after a coworker recommended them. I placed an order online for some jerky meat, the process was quick and easy. The order was ready for pick up the next day. Pick up was very easy and I was in and out in less than a minute. The beef I got was great quality, was already trimmed and had very little fat. I order 5lbs of meat and got 5lbs of meat, not 4lbs of meat and 1lb of fat like I have gotten from other butcher shops. The jerky meat I got from them turned into some amazing jerky. I definitely will be buying from here again.

I went to inquire about potential BBQ options, and I had the best conversation with some of the nicest butchers in town. A family run business that serves some of the best local beef. I bought shrimp skewers and devoured them. The cherry on top, they offer most selections on their website and even offer delivery! We are now in the future. Don’t let the plain façade fool you. There’s some good stuff inside.

I could say the pork belly was too thin, so I gave one star. However, I got a call from the owner and it helped me to understand why I got that pork belly. They asked me to refund it, but the pork belly was fresh! Please, just check the pork belly well next time. If you got too thin one, please ask me to delay to pick up my order.... Love this company. During the pandemic I felt strained because my local place where I'd get meat, the quality had dropped to the point where most of the meat was rotting on the shelves.... Found this place on Facebook, ordered their Spirit of Hope Box. They threw in a couple extra seasoned patties I think, which was nice. They have sales so often it's worth the price of the delivery and tip. Tried Wagyu patties one time because the ground beef was cheap enough I had enough left over and it was delicious! I like the way the meat is packed it's always fresh looking and tasty. Editing to add: also love the varieties they have of meat cuts, packaging styles (bulk or individual with no extra cost for individual packaging) and other foods as well. Looking forward to ordering more from them soon

Recently ordered for the first time. Steaks look beautiful; perfect marbling, the lean ground beef is the best I have had in a very long time; very good grind. Was very pleasantly surprised that meats came well wrapped in good quality freezer paper. Love that most meat is locally sourced.

Excellent butcher. Every cut of steak Ive got from here has been absolutely excellent. More so, the bacon and homemade sausage, which I feel is really the mark of a good butcher, are superb. The bacon is just the right amount of salty, cut thick from quality pork belly. The sausage has a great texture with the juicy snap all good sausages have. Highly recommend.

If you love meat this is the place for you. Affordable prices. Very well packaged and labeled. Quality meat and very easy to use website. I ordered brisket, pork belly , pork loin and the meat box #1 on my first order and let me tell you, nothing disappointed. I also ordered 2 wagyu steak but I have not made those yet. Hat off to this company, it is exactly what meat lovers need. I just placed my second order which included some pre cut beef Jerky.

Major disappointment. The Greek chicken skewers were so salty they were inedible. Chucked them in the garbage. The shaved ham is also overly salted and I’m probably going to trash that too. I am hoping that the pineapple pork chops and perogies are ok. We’ll see. Would not buy from them again. UPDATE: Got a prompt reply from the company and received a refund which I appreciate. However, I still have concerns. 1 pkg had only 3 skewers and the second 4. There was no label indicating the date these were packaged, the ingredients or the weight. The only product with complete info on the label were the perogies. The ham label just says “shaved ham” and the pineapple porkchop label identifies the product and says to slow cook it for a specified time. Proper labelling is important consumer information as it will influence my decision on future purchases, if any.

Offers the best quality and authentic Wagyu beef in the city. And even though there was a little issue with my order when I came to pick up, they made sure to make up for it and came through for me. Their online ordering and pick up system is hassle free at themeatcompany.ca and I will definitely order again.
