The best meat shop I've been to! The staff is super helpful and friendly, everything is made in house, ground beef is fresh to order, steaks cut right from the strip. The products are just such high quality I can't shop for meat elsewhere! Heres a picture of a brisket I got from them, always amazing!

Amazing spot, only problem is the hours. Why meat stores unanimously decided to go with bankers hours is beyond me. Every butcher would double, triple or even quadruple their profit from fixing this major mistake in functionality. Why would you be open all day and close when everyone gets off of their day jobs? To serve people that dont work? How much can someone who doesn't work afford? It is a backwards and ,frankly, idiotic marketing strategy that every butcher adheres to. Makes about as much sense as Karen canceling her order because of an exposed nose.

I've been a few times. fine place, nothing exceptionally bad or good until today. Went in and ordered and while I was waiting I saw that 3/5 staff were barely wearing their masks, noses hanging out while hanging the meat and leaning over in the glass cases. I asked to cancel my order and the man nearest me with his nose hanging out demanded to know why so I told him "because many of you aren't wearing your masks properly while handling and leaning over food" and he started to yell at me. I get that he was mad at me and my beliefs but I am allowed to cancel my order and I did so respectfully - you did not respond the same. Very disappointed in professionalism and lack of caring for public safety.

Used to go for the meat packages. They don't give them anymore and they price things twice what I can get at miller's. Will not go back again after 6 years of patronage.

Can't rave about this place enough. I tried their meats at a friend's place and noticed how lean and good tasting they were. I also love that most of their meat is packaged in butcher paper, eliminating all that foam waste! The cherry on the cake was that upon requesting ground beef the butcher proceeded to freshly grind the meat for me on the spot! Wow! Lots of delicious looking European products here, ready to make meals like meat pies, pizzas, soup etc. Great prices. I definitely see myself shopping here for meat exclusively from now on.

Excellent place for European meats and products. The only place I could find in Winnipeg with the Univer brand Hungarian pastes. I used to have to stock up at one of my yearly trips to Toronto, so I'm glad to have found this place.

So glad I found this hidden Jem, I spent few weeks hunting for Farmer sausage that equalled Steinbach's. Some how missed it was 2 minutes away and drove all over the city. Now I'm in there twice a week getting both German and Hungarian sausage. My family is Hungarian so this was Bonus I can't stop ordering LOL.

My favorite butcher shop. The Hungarian sausage is amazing. Their cuts of meat always look (and taste!) divine and I love the selection of frozen and ready made foods available. Photo is a perfect medium sirloin roast from Springfield, butter soft and melt in your mouth.

My old close friend had shown me this place a good while ago. From that point on, whenever it came to getting steaks at a reasonable price, I would ALWAYS come here. Best cut steaks with little fat on them, very professional, asked how thick and how many. Typically we bought 1in steaks ranging from 5-8 steaks. Best place to buy steaks and that ever so heavenly hickory smoked bacon. If you are ever looking for a good amount of bacon, that when cooked gives very little grease left in the pan, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. We managed to cook a full pound of bacon with maybe 2-3 tablespoons of grease total. (Compared to superstore's half a bowl for 8 slices)

Looks like no one has posted much since they have done renovation's. The place is way bigger now. More eye appealing and staff is always welcoming. I purchased probably the best 1' Prime rib steaks today. I even asked for bone in, heard nothing, other than "sure,what size and how many". Down right professionals. Price's on par, for the area. Keep it up

The first time we went the staff was super. We pre-ordered prime rib steaks, the taste was fantastic, but the rib of fat left on the steaks was a bit much. The second time must of been an off day as the staff wasn't very friendly at all.....Asked for x3 sirloin steaks individual wrapped and wanted to see what I was being given, I was meet with attitude. I was given 3 totally different sized steaks only shown 1 steak. I wish they had their advertised specials cut showing them in the show case so I could of had pick of what I wanted to purchase not just given what ever. I don't think we'll be making that special trip again.

I have been coming here for years, and I can honestly say I wont go anywhere else. The staff is excellent, fast and friendly. They'll get you whatever you want, all custom cut any time. Custom ground, cut, weight, whatever you want. The dried pepperoni and sausage are to die for. They have expanded thier selection and offer more and more of what you come to expect. Everything is sourced locally, locally owned and operated. If you live in the north east of the city, you have to try this place out.
