I come in 2-3 times a month. The service is really great! Someone usually says hi to me when I walk in. When I go to pay they are very polite and chatty. I don’t know anyone’s names but there are a few staff members who have been working there longer and are super cheerful and it’s really nice to have that kind of experience! I've been shopping here for 2 years. The regular staff is always amazing however the female owner/manager is not. I regularly come in to buy Country Perogy Shop products and I noticed they were all frosted over and had white freezer burn. I asked very politely about a discount and she said "no, your wrong. There's no discount" I was shocked at her tone and abruptness.... And explained why it was freezer burned. In the end she said "if you don't like it buy it somewhere else". I left feeling really insulted. Outside of the store she approached me again and repeated "if you don't like it shop somewhere else!" So I called around and I'm happy I did.... Because Harvest Bakery actually sells them cheaper! So thank-you to the owner for helping me find a better deal!

Best place in Winnipeg. Drove by hundreds of times without stopping until a friend from work recommended it. Haven't shopped for my meats anywhere else since. The service/quality is awesome. We have a few butcher choices in the south part of Winnipeg, but I don't think any others come close. They're nice, energetic, knowledgeable and have great product. They close at 6. I called them in a panic at 5:50 leaving work one Friday night. Was having the lads over for steak. The fellow answered, I told him I was on my way, he asked how long I'd be, I said I'd be there by 6:20. He says "No worries man. I'll stay here and wait". Sure enough, they're all closed up, but he'd wrapped up 6 14oz baseball tenderloins and was ready to go. They go the extra mile, and it's extremely rare I find these days. If you haven't tried them, give them a shot. Order your Thanksgiving Turkey, Haggis for Burns Night, or Beef for Steak Night.

Best Place to buy meats, and also bone marrow bones for dogs to chew on. Love coming here, the workers are all super nice, and it's great seeing the same people working there all the time. The Bison sausage is great, as is the bacon and the steaks. Also love getting the short ribs they sell. Definitely a staple for summer time, or if we need something for a special occasion.

Need a special steak? Ask for a 2 inch Certified Angus ribeye. Try a double bone end cut pork chop. Maui ribs that you can't stop eating. Dog bones! So many great things at Marcello's.

Marcello and his staff are absolutely fantastic and the product is second to none. Gotta try his beef brisket. Wow I did a smoked sous vide version for 36 hours and finished on the BBQ for 2 hours and it was the best flavour and texture I have ever tried. The process has to be there for cooking but quality meat is essential and Marcello over disappoints.

Marcello's always has the best and most friendly customer service in the business. They have a number of great choices of all kinds of meats, and a very nice selection of specialty foods. From their choice to carry the delicious (frozen) garlic shrimp, to the way they beautifully spice their pork tenderloin, and to the house recipe bacon which doesn't completely disappear when cooked, unlike most other bacon out there, Marcello and his staff care, and it shows.

not much to choose from really small shop and whatever you do don't ask for a custom cut of meat...asked for 3 3/4 inch ribeyes and they just gave me three 1 inch steaks. You would think this would be an easy thing to do but its clearly beyond their grasp. even the kid working the till said they looked thick......?

Wide selection of meats. You name it, Marcello has it. Whether it's hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, skewers, lunch meat, he has it all. One stop shopping as well as he has all the fixings to go with your BBQ. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
