Halal meats available fresh and at reasonable costs, they also have variety of rice, flour and all sorts of desi stuff available. Excellent customer service, ample parking in front of store. Frozen vegetables plus spices which you cannot get in Walmart etc. At economical prices. You also get Utensils and other items, overall a complete one stop desi store!

Called to day to find out if they have beef paya and they said they do have some frozen i send my wife right away and once she got there, they said sorry we don't have any ready to sell. plus store was open but he could not use the machine. Not sure why they have to cut when the product comes in frozen condition and already cleaned. I did ask him specifically if the pays are cut and clean with no skin and hair and he stated - YES. I wish they educate their staff better so we are not driving down for nothing.

A good variety of Pakistani and Indian foodstuffs. Hand slaughtered halal meat is also available. A pretty big store with a lot of variety. I wished a store with this size they can carry other merchandise like clothing or decor, then it would have been a perfect rating. Although in close proximity to other halal stores, it is still good to have more option available.

Overall an un-organized shop. But they sell variety of items. That's why I tried them again. But this time, out of 5 Employees only one of them was using the facemask properly (couple of them in meat section were not wearing them at all).Not going back there...again.

Good store for halal and pakistani grocery but sometimes their goat meat has smell even though they say it doesn't smell if u take from the big piece. Also when u buy beef with bone their ratio is not good, they put more bones than meat. I have had bad experience 3 times, so i dont buy meat from here. Other than that u will find all spices at this store.

I have gone for Indian mutton. They had both lamb and goat. I bought goat from there. It was frozen only. I was little hesitant because I am very particular about taste. Many places People say goat and sell lamb or sheep. Really frustrated with taste. But here perfect goat. No disappointment after cooking. Double Thumbs up.. I aksed for keema.. But they told that we need to order it before 2 days.. So that they can make it separately while slicing. You can give a try. By the way price is not much. I got it for 16.5$ per kg.. Really worth.

I popped in yesterday as I was on the hunt for some different ingredients. They had them! They also have one way aisles (although some customers don't think those rules apply...always a bad apple ???? somewhere), but, they have arrows and lines...so they are doing their part. Customer service is great. I made a detailed meat order and I was helped by one butcher who took care of the whole order and cut/prepared to specifications. The cashier was helpful when it came to locating an item (these days you just want to be in and out without browsing...so communication is key!) Overall great experience. I haven't been in a while... it looks like they are expanding! #supportlocal

This is one of the big halal food store in Winnipeg. They have verities of product from several countries. The checkout counter can be more clean and organized. So far I have only one bad experience in this store. They were selling "Desi Chicken or Organic Chicken" which is actually soup chicken or hard chicken. This is wrong. Soup or hard chicken is old chicken not desi chicken.

This store has an extensive stock of Pakastani and Indian food. It is refreshing in a way to wander through aisles that have a corner store feel. The day I shopped there I was the only Caucasian in the place which added to the adventure and authenticity of this market tucked away in St. Vital. While there is hallal meat, I was there as a plant - based eater and it is a vegan treasure trove of amazing and fairly priced spices, dried beans and legumes. I managed to walk away with a large tub of fengreek seeds which I plant to sprout, as well as powdered Amla, a spice that I have been looking for months and would have cost triple in a health food store. As other reviewers have said, it's hard to find someone to help you but the cashier hesitantly helped me last minute when I was ready to pay. I feel this is not a bad trade off if you know this before you come. (Like this review if you found it helpful).

Great place for meat and other ethnic stuffs. Too many stuffs and choices though, can be overwhelming. Seems like they are overstocking products. Who needs 4 or 5 choices for Garlic or ginger pastes? Staffs are not very helpful. Sometimes they charge different than what is actually advertised or if there is sales going on. Sometimes there are no people at the checkout, literally anybody can pick up things and walk out. Not a good experience!

I really like the meat I purchase from here - chicken and mutton. What I don't like is their customer service and how almost every time they put more meat in the weighing machine than I asked for. Many a times it's more than 10-15% of what I asked for. The person at the billing counter most of the time is unfriendly. Many a time, I had to wait at the billing counter for someone to arrive. The detailing on the bill is absent: how much I bought was missing from the bill. The owner seems really nice, though. I wish they could be little more friendly.

We normally buy in bulk from them at a bulk rate, however this time we were told to “stop eating so much” by the owner. As a PAYING customer, this kind of insulting treatment is unacceptable. Tbh the store is great you will find everything you want mostly the owner of the store and meat section employees are really nice and welcoming but i am giving 2star because there is serious problem with the front cashier they should change their cashier. Few days before i face an incident that broke my heart me and by brother were shopping together and i was at the line waiting and my brother joined me with 3 grocery items and from the back there was a guy saying you can’t do that blah blah i replied he is my brother and he is with me so we went to checkout and that guy from the back saying to that female cashier not to scan our product and she didn’t scan which is really disgusting and she really don’t deserve the position.

Great store especially for muslim community in winnipeg. Everything is halal and fresh. And i looove their kabob section. I usually go to "GROCERY BAZAR" for halal kabob and meat item and now that i discovered this place i will visit them more than grocery bazar (it nearer and has more product variety and most importantly cheaper price for kabob ). I noticed they have all sorts of desi snacks, pots, drinks etc. Check this store if you haven't done it yet!

I work down the strip mall from this shop and I stop in at least once a week for snacks, the staff are so friendly. I always find something new to try and some old favorites. There are many gluten free options as well. I highly recommend that folks check this shop out and explore flavors and foods, I know I sure am happy I did. Oh and they have the best mangoes I have ever had! I am very grateful to have had the chance to experience foods my anglo self may never had if I had never come in, so thanks for having such a great shop with friendly staff.
