Little store where to buy your eastern European meaty tasty bits. So tasty... as you get in you'll be hit with the smoked garlicky meat smell. Cannot go out without a chunk of bacon or something. Great selection

From the moment you walk in, you know this place is legit as there is a lot of non-English spoken by the workers and the smell of smoked meats permeates the air. Their Kielbasa and Hunter's Sausage were excellent. Well worth going back to for their truly smoky kbuy! The BEST kielbasa in town. If you want some great homemade kielbasa, smokies, etc. from a longtime family operation, this is the place. The deli meat aroma from this place is amazing. Dont leave Winnipeg without having one of their Rings

It can certainly be a bit of a wait to get up to order, but it's certainly worth it. As soon as you get close you can smell the smoked meat and by that alone you know you're in for a treat! Great helpful staff (in English or Ukrainian) and the quality is certainly up there! Would definitely recommend!

Best place in Winnipeg for meat, especially deli meat. Most is made on site. They use fresh real ingredients. I love the brown wax paper wrap, I wish everyone would go back to that instead of plastic. My turkey roll was sooo good, I had it in the fridge for 8 days in the brown wrap and it was still as fresh and tasty as day 1. If the deli meat does start to spoil , it will just dry out around the edge, Nice people as well!

First time visiting this place!! I will be back. The smell of store made garlic sausage lured me in! The bright, well organized store made it easy to shop and take in the variety of packaged mixes, relish, pickles, jams and spreads, chocolates, biscuits and all the other wonderful pieces that contribute to Ukrainian and Polish cooking. I picked up smoked pork ribs for my husband. I have been asked by him to go back and get some more!! For me, it's worth the 25 minute drive from our neighborhood to Karpaty Meats to get great service, great selection and great quality meats.

Very good Eastern European butcher and deli. I have been gping there for close to five years and have fpund the food products to be very consistent. They also make various smoked products like ribs, loins, and chops (etc), that vary. If you like smoked meats this is your place. That being said, for my palette, the smoked taste can be very strong from time to time.

Used to be consistantly great i have been going for 8 years but i have had a fewbad expierences now the double smoked coil and some house made smokies and deli meats that were over smoked and had a really bad flavor. Its really to bad they were my favorite butcher shop and winnipeg only has a few good ones.

I literally dont go anywhere else for my meats they are THEE BEST deli in winnipeg hands down they have exceptional flavor along with some of the nicest staff would definitely recommend if you are polish or Ukrainian as they do cater more towards them meaning they have polish staff along with Polish and Ukrainian foods that are imported but everyone is welcome and they have the best kielbasa ever!

I stopped in the shop hoping to buy a fairly large purchase of a variety of deli meats. At the deli counter I was terribly insulted by a female meat server. She ranted, squirmed and gestured claiming my approved face mask was so ugly she could barely stand to look at me. I had to ask for another server as I was so taken aback. The two brothers(Butchers) or at least one thought the mask was humorous. The other brother just walked away in an unpleasant/unfriendly fashion. I made a small purchase only because of the one friendly butcher attitude. THIS INSIDENT WILL NOT GO UNTOLD.

Seriously a top rate smokerie. If you are a fan of garlic rings, smoked sausage, salami, ham, and so on, you have to give this place a try. They make Smokies in house, all day long I believe, and they are incredible. There are often fresh ones in a bowl on top of the display counter which are still warm. No matter what I'm getting, I always grab at least one fresh warm smoke to eat immediately. If you've never had the privilege of eating a freshly made smokie, you don't know what you're missing. They also have a small selection of quality bread products and an assortment of imported European products as well as various cuts of fresh pork.

10 stars. This place is fantastic albeit a bit pork forward. The smokies are the best in the city. Try the smoked pork loin with eggs for breakfast or on a sandwich. Quick pan sear and you're good to go. Reminded me of a peameal bacon sandwich.

Best coarse kubassa in town! All homemade rings, smokies, meats made with TLC from the family run operation (18years I believe). If your visiting from abroad, you got to get a ring or two and some smokies from bossman Bogdan to consume or take back (vacuum packed) with you.
