Bought beer here. Went to return the (20) empties a few days later and was told "We don't take bottles" as I watched a guy loading empties on a pallet outside the store. Avoid this place and just go to Soares across the street. Much nicer people, better selection, and a much much cleaner store. Wish I hadn't made the mistake of shopping here.

I find it worth the trip to get there plus the sausage I bought was so good. The best "non-homemade" chouriço and morcela in the region. They make morcela á moda Açoriana the way it should be made. Just enough fat. Lots of flavour and the perfect amount of heat to taste. Almost better than the one my mom used to make! The chouriço is great also. Mild and hotter. I recomment the "piquante" chouriço as it packs more spices and flavours. Everything is fresh. People there are nice and friendly. You'll also find some imported Portuguese goods like cheeses, olive oils, olives and much more. No wonder many restaurants in Montreal get their stuff from here. Great place! Do go and you won't regret it.
