Western Meats and Deli is great! I've only been to the Hamilton Road location, so I can't speak to any other locations, but the staff are always friendly, the prices are fair, they answer all my questions, and they even let me bring my own containers to reduce waste. I actually look forward to going to the butcher because I've always had good experiences there. I definitely recommend them!

Very disappointed in the service at the shop on southdale. Went in at 5:45 to order two cheese burgers. Was told they were closing in 5 minutes and wouldn’t do it. Meanwhile their hours are posted as closely by at 5:30. Was a good customer here but now I’ll never be back.

Was expecting a great experience and basically had the opposite. I asked a pretty simple question, “do you have 80/20 ground beef?” Was pretty much looked at like I had ten heads and then the kid says “no..welllll, I mean, kind of... our medium is 70/30 or maybe 60/40 or something” so you guys are a butcher shop but don’t know what your products consist of? Scary stuff. I’ll go to the market instead where the butcher knows what they’re selling. What a joke.

Excellent, I've been going to Western for my meat for a long time, and it's always been top notch, and now with the food truck, one word, Amazing. Great food with fantastic value, really, you cannot get a bad meal here. Everything is done to the highest quality, and you really won't be hungry afterwords, I have worked in this area for 3 years and we finally have a place that I can have something different everyday and it's always great. I recommend that you eat here, you won't be disappointed.

What I liked: Service ✅ Quality ✅ Value ✅ Variety✅ A few extra ✅✅✅ for things I can’t think of right now. While the truck is open for the season you would be foolish not to stop here. By far the BEST butcher in the city. I've been going there for 20 years and never had a negative experience. Very friendly staff, very accommodating and they are always there to suggest the perfect cut for any occasion. AND...their Food Truck is second to none. You know the food is fresh, it comes from right next door! Job well done everyone.

Can you guys please use your own driveway on the east side of the building to load/unload trucks instead of parking in front of our house with the engine and reefer running? Please stay off Dreaney ave, your not even allowed to park there, and when you pull into the driveway, please turn off the truck...its not hot out, you dont need to run the reefer. The beeping from reversing is loud, the air brakes are loud, the engine and reefer are too. Just use the huge driveway on the east side of the building.

I just got my order and normally there very good! This time I order 5 pounds rib eye steaks and some burgers (frozen). If you order from a butcher shop you would expect the steaks to be fresh right? No instead I get 4 steaks maybe just vacume sealed, and 3 that are frozen. Not very impressed after spending 140$.

I stop buying meat from the butcher shop last year because the steaks are tough and over price, however the food truck they own outside has some good food. Make sure you tip the young girls who work at the food truck, they kind of expect you to, and if you don't they become very unfriendly. People have spoiled them by over tipping them. (Which is mostly the male customers fault)

Awesome meat market with extremely helpful staff. My wife and I were looking at the frozen section for maybe 30 seconds at the most before a friendly staff member offered to help us. She brought a bag out for us to put the meat we had already picked out and then took time to go over the different kinds of stewing bones they had. This is my meat and deli go-to now. Keep up the great work!

I bought a Tomahawk steak and cooked it up tonight and it was better than anything I have had from a restaurant. Try their sausages too they are amazing. Keep up the good work guys and gals. Went to the food stand outside the market shop today and ordered 2 steak gyro wraps. Hands down without exageration the best steak wraps Ive probably ever had in my life. 10 out of 10. They were so bloody good. Also both the young girls working together were great in every aspect. Fast, kind, efficient and make one hell of a mean wrap. Dont pass it by.

This is a review of their food truck only. And to be clear any geographical based foods ARE NOT AUTHENTIC. If looking for a true shawarma, gyro or Philly cheesesteak and that is your only criteria looking. If you want delicious come here. We went here last Friday after driving past it and always seeing people lined up here We now understand why they line up We were a bit nervous as the prices seemed on the high side with sandwiches and burgers costing 11-15 dollars or so This one of the few times you get what you pay for. As indicated above we ordered the philly sandwich and the shawarma. The server was incredibly helpful and told us everything was made fresh except the gyro and onion rings. When we couldn’t decide on chicken or beef she said she could give us both and offered to cut it for us to share. This was much appreciated. Again, the cheesesteak was not authentic in that it was a thin piece of steak (skirt or flank?) grilled with the toppings of your choice (no processed American cheese here, thank god) . Sharing this would have been enough for us. It was just a good steak sandwich The shawarma wasn’t a true one. But the portion size was huge and it contained large chunks of fresh grilled steak and chicken. It was triple the size of any stuffed pita you can get anywhere else. The meat was charred nicely and it just worked well The meat is clearly from the butchers shop inside. It tasted fresh This is a place to check out looking for good tasty food.

Purchased some Italian sausages/2 pork chops and angus steaks this last week I ate the sausage the day I bought them I put the pork chops and steaks in the freezer the same day after eating the sausages I was very sick today 7 days later I took the pork chops out to bbq and they were bad /sour smelling so everything has gone in the garbage including the steaks I dont even want to bother I did contact them after the sausage they apologized and offered me a store credit but I have decided to decline and we will not return a huge waste of money
