Great neighborhood Market! I love the selection here. There is a butcher shop and a nice deli section with hot and cold foods. Nice place to pick up a quick lunch. There's always 2 pots of hot soup waiting for you in the winter. There's also fresh baked items available, too. The produce area is small, but it is well stocked with fresh and organic staples. There's also a variety of different ethnic seasonings and condiments available here. There is a liquor store on premise, as well. It's really a good place to stop in to pick up last minute needs for dinner. There is never a long line, but it's always buzzing with energy.

Ordered a cubano, got a some brie sandwich. Morenos has started hiring employees from labor ready. Also, the portion size of the sandwich, particularly the turkey cranberry pumpkin has been reduced by 25%, however the price is the same. LOVE Moreno’s, this market really is a gem! It’s honestly pretty awesome the amount of cool things you can find at this small store! I’ve found stuff here I haven’t been able to find elsewhere very easily (oatly barista blend oat milk!!) and highly recommend taking a look! Also their sandwiches are out of this world.

A hidden gem, as the saying goes. A unique, family run grocery and deli with many surprises. Lots of foreign foods, prepared meats etc, and the best sandwiches within several hundred miles. Very hard to go back to any other sandwiches.

Been coming here for years and it seems to get worse and worse. Maybe its the new staff they hire or the fact they have loyal shoppers. Prices aren't competitive at all and I've seen 2x-3x price markup for the same items in other stores. Staff can be inattentive at times where they just walk past you or look straight through you while you're waiting for service (even when its slow). Sandwiches are good, however, I have had unpleasant sandwiches ranging from, sandwiches that arent heated up because they want you out faster, burnt bits stuck the sandwich because they rarely clean the grill, and TOOTHPICKS IN THE SANDWICH. Only reason to shop here is if you like their deli or wish to shop local but even then there's better local options out here in Langley.

I'm not a fan of the new, smaller venue and their prices are a bit high. But the deli and butcher are top quality. Get there early for the best selection there and for their fresh baked goods. If your claustrophobic stay to the edges of the store. The few isles are scary cramped. The fresh produce is also quite good and usually features decent prices on local stuff.

Absolutely phenomenal panini sandwhiches. I stopped by here for lunch and got a cheesesteak sandwich for$ 7.99. It had tonnes of actual steak. The meat was cooked to perfection while grilling the steak. Decent amount of cheese too. I can honestly say that for the price it is, I wondered if I could make that sandwich myself for that price. There was a lot of variety to choose from here to. The bread is always fresh and amazing. Will definitely be coming here more often.

Great market with really tasty sandwiches. Produce is always fresh and the meats look really great. It's a little on the expensive side (a touch more expensive than save on or Safeway), but really seems worth it. Staff are always friendly and there's always a great atmosphere when you're there.

Smaller grocery store with some quality products and wicked deli sandwiches. Produce can be a little bit pricier than the big box stores but has always been of better quality. Some great import products add good variety. The highlight for me is the sandwich selection. Cold or grilled on the press there are some delicious combinations that make for a filling, tasty lunch. Try the roast beef and pickle; simple but awesome.

This review is very specific with my last experience in the store and regarding social distancing. They have tape lines, signs, and Plexiglass which are all wonderful and helpful but I was highly disappointed in an employee's s conduct. I am not sure if this employee was talking to customers who were friends/families or maybe two employees that were off shift but they openly joked about standing too close and hugged. While these interactions were happening they were blocking a walk way which then made it impossible for me to social distance properly. This place offers amazing sandwiches and I love supporting a local business but during these times this employee's behaviour made me very uncomfortable.

FALSE ADVERTISING. I went in to the store today hoping to find something to eat at the deli counter. I was in the process of buying some cooked meatballs (in a sauce) that were tagged as Moreno's Meatballs. In the process of buying them I learned that they were actually Costco's meatballs. I asked what made them Moreno's. Apparently Moreno's adds the sauce. I didn't ask if the sauce came from Costco too. Makes one wonder about everything else in that deli case. I really used to like this place...

Staff are busy and friendly. The sandwiches are very tasty, and I really enjoy their selection for both sandwiches, and other items you can pick-up on the go (mac and cheese, pastas, samosas, perogies, salads, ribs, and plenty more). Great place for a quick lunch stop, and they will grill / heat up your food as well.

I ordered 3 party platters for a bridal shower yesterday. I was blown away, the quality and time that was put Into these was amazing. Not only were they beautiful and of course delicious, all the guests were so surprised at how much variety was on each platter. I will only use Morenos from now on if I need any kind of platter. I highly recommend!

I bought - cooked chicken skewers $5 each (super dry and hard), pulled pork (again super dry and hard), lemon & garlic potatoes (they were expired), cabbage rolls ( although crunchy cabbage is nice these were disgusting). I tried everything but had to throw everything away after a bite. This store is expensive for anything, very similar to an organic local store but not organic at all. The steaks I bought there were mostly fat and although they were juicy and thick they are super overpriced. I personally like supporting little stores even if it costs a bit more money but this place is not worth it. I’ve been disappointed countless times and I’m finally done.

I come here more than once a week to get most of my groceries as I try to support small local businesses especially after the pandemic hit. Never had a problem before but I was disappointed today after I was discriminated against and lied to by some of the staff. Most of the staff know me as I come in a lot and spend a lot of money here even though most things are overpriced. And I did happily so because like I said I want to be supportive. But I’m saddened to say I won’t be coming back after my experience today.

This small grocer and deli is a hidden gem. It's small size doesn't reflect how good their sandwiches are. They have a large variety that tapers off closer to closing, but every single one (Save for ones containing breaded chicken, skip those) is worth trying, as are the salads. While it is a bit pricier, $13 for a sandwich and salad, it is worth every single cent. On the grocery side they have a good selection of local foods and baked goods prepared in-store. While the location's parking lot entrances leave something to be desired, should you find yourself in the area checking this place is a must.

After getting some sour cream, that had curdled and gotten brown spots, I will not likely shop here again. Sour cream doesn't turn easily. I called the store, and they did offer a refund, but they had already received some other returns with the same issue. I find this to be an exceptionally bad decision. Unsafe to continue shopping there.
