If you're an ex Brit you've got to shop here. There are items here I haven't seen since I left the UK fifty years ago. You won't be disappointed.

Black Pudding has a wonderful selection of UK and Irish goodies including some items I have been unable to find elsewhere and they have always been helpful when I have enquired about them getting stuff in, too. Delicious fresh scones, and baking like meat pies, bakewell tarts etc. They also sell refrigerated sausages, haggis, meat pies, black pudding etc. Great spot to pick up some things to make you a feel a little less homesick!

This is a very good little store with great people. The pies are a great meal and the goodies will keep you in the store for a while. Wide selection of good stuff. Worth a look if you are in the area.

Loads of British food and other items (glassware, football stuff, etc.). Prices are of course a little high but as expected with any specialty store.

Great place for everything British

Fantastic pies! Always buy a bunch to toss in the freezer.

Great place to shop for British goods.

Great Britain imports. Yummy!

Personable staff, wide variety of British specialties, both food and memorabilia

Great place. The imported goods are pricy but importing small quantities is expensive so it's understandable, and prices are lower than other similar stores. The freshly baked pies and stuff are amazing and well worth a go.

Reasonable prices for imported goods, and a good selection of my childhood favourites. Definitely worth a visit for any British expats in the area, and for anyone else with an interest in some fantastic Stilton, good chocolates and crisps, and UK kitsch. Nice pies, too.

Best UK import store I've been to. Their Black Pudding is really good. Great selection.

Best British & Irish shop in the Vancouver area

Love this place!!

Best UK import store in the area! Tons of selection of pubware, food - fresh/frozen/grocery, Royals memorabilia, football hats/scarves/etc. Excellent black pudding too!

We absolutely love this store. Customer Service was great. The Homemade scones were fabulous. So many item from the UK

This store has lots of British imports for very decent prices. Orders can be made online or in store.

Friendly and very helpful. Great stock of Brit candies..and much more .love it ????

Try the cheese and onion pastry. Sausage rolls are the best. Bring your own bag!

All the UK stuff fun to see

This is my favorite store, me and the lads went down here. We got some chocolate. A grand time

My go to place for British sweets.

Don't be fooled by other UK shops, BPI is the BEST. Every time I shop here I am always pleased. Memories of Britain will be brought back to everyone who eat their pies, candies & puddings. Love this chunk of the UK in the valley. They have been doing business for over 25 years. They know what they are doing.

Enormous selection at reasonable import prices, and nice, friendly staff.

All sorts of yummy UK treats and English themed housewares, clothing, team wear and snacks. Found all our favourite gummy candies, Cadbury chocolates and other canned and jarred sauces, condiments and prepared foods. Locally produced frozen pies looked delish and were highly recommended by my uncle. Note the hours of operation before you go as I was there early in the week and they were closed.

This is a terrible store. They carry racist merchandise and when confronted they simply took the items off the shelves but they are still available for purchase. They have made no attempt to apologize to the community or to educate themselves or their staff on the history of these racist toys. It is sad that in this day and age companies like this don’t take these opportunities to do better and have some dialogue around their mistakes. Instead they went on the defensive and still don’t believe they did anything wrong. I will never be shopping in there again.

Great people & a great place for anything Celtic. They have awesome Haggis!????

Large selection of treats and paraphernalia. I particularly like that the shop carries some modern British food items that people in UK have access to, rather than just the classic brands. My only issue is that this store carries Golliwog dolls. While being a nostalgic part of British culture from years gone by, the dolls represent a pretty inappropriate approach in these days. Toss the dolls - we don't need them.

Really friendly staff and owners. Lots of British products available.

Fair price for imported Scottish delacacies. Hot sausage rolls and steak bakes. Two litres of irn Bru. Can't beat it.

Lots of selection. Friendly staff

Best British shop in the area

This was a great find. Not cheap but worth every cent.

So much good British stuff in a small space. Food, cards, trinkets, footie souvenirs, pies! Free parking too!

A great little shop with a very helpful staff!!

Finally was able to make it out to the shop the staff were friendly and helpful good selection and was able to get many black currant items (hard to find) next trip will be trying some of the wonderful smelling meat pies and such

Owners were friendly and helpfull. LOVED the home made minced meat pie things. And best the ketchup chips i ever had. Only wish they had bigger bags.

Lovely place with some great things from the UK and Ireland. Because they're imports, they're pretty pricey!!

The product selection of sweet and treats is nice, but I was very disappointed to see Golliwogs for sale. Those toys are a piece of racist history that should stay history! Carrying those is in very poor taste. Really disappointed in ownership's attitude towards this issue.

I wish I'd known about this place earlier! I've gone 8 long years without black pudding or square sausage, and I've always had to get friends to send "care packages" so I could get some Scottish blend, toffee crisps, and, my favorite, Sports Mix. It may be a near 2 hour round trip for me, but it's faster and cheaper than a plane to Glasgow. Will definitely be back! Just remember that imported stuff obviously costs more, but it's not ridiculously expensive. Plus there's a clearance section that's worth a swatch!

We love their meaty pies. Always come in for a walk about. Nice friendly people.

A great store to buy any British nick nacks or snacks! Lots of sportswear and not crazy expensive for an import store.

Awesome little British shop!

Awesome selection of British imports

The pies and pastries here are amazing. Steak pies are full of tender chunks of beef, not just gravy and potato.

This place is such a gem! It was super confusing to find at first, given that it was tucked in the back of an office building. But when you get in brace yourselves...and your wallet! They have such a wide selection of British imports. Sauces, dessert and Yorkshire kits, tinned goods, sweets, frozen goods and even a fresh case with CORNISH PASTIES! All for reasonable prices, and unlike most import stores, the expiry dates aren't atrocious!

Always very helpful

Friendly helpful staff. Grt selection for imported British goods.

Nice British Import store located in Canada. Prices were reasonable to most import stores. Soon to expire dates on majority of items, seems to be a standard for most/all import stores that offer visits while in Canada. I really liked the store employees at Black Pudding!

Great assortment of UK items. Unfortunately you can't browse in store. Check out their web site and preorder.

great place lots of neat british foods but holy moly their frozen meat pies are expensive!

A great store with great products and service! I see the snowflakes tried to shut them up and down but I will continue support despite the nonsense from the perpetually offended..

So many good things!! Horribly far from New Westminster

Really neat store. The square slice was perfect.

Awesome selection of stuff, well priced.

One of our favorite shops, best of all the British stores hands down

Great place for British imports and paraphernalia. Sometimes food is expired already.

What niche shopping is supposed to be!

If you're looking for a taste of Great Britain this is a good bet. They have a little of everything. Clean store, well lit and well kept, easy parking.

English candy!

Excellent store and very good customer service

All the favourites from back home! ????

GREAT toffee

Such a friendly place with an amazing selection of goods from the UK but also fresh Black & White Puddings, cheeses, local made pies and in house baking. You have missed out on the best British Shoppe around if you haven't been here yet. Footy hats, scarves and barware too!

Having lived in England for two years, I was very excited to learn of your British imports shop, and did not notice the Golliwog dolls the last time I was in. However, I am deeply saddened and disappointed to learn that you have been selling them for so long. This is in no way acceptable given that this type of doll was inspired by blackface minstrels - a highly offensive form of entertainment that has long since been recognized as racist. Please take the time to educate yourselves - these dolls are not okay and I will not be stepping foot in your shop again until they are removed. UPDATED: Thank you for responding to the feedback you received regarding the Golliwog dolls you were selling. In order to move forward, we must continue to educate ourselves and do better. Your quick action in response to the public's outcry is very much appreciated, and I look forward to visiting your store again soon.

friendly staff, great british food and sweets

Best place to my British goods and all ways have excellent service and a good place fo go for a chat and the resent news on dolls if you are British you grew up with the book etc yes times have changed history is history

For British people that's the place to go to

Best British shop around the lower mainland. All imported goods but the back pudding is made locally and is terrific.

Pricey but good if you're looking for a UK treat/reminder of home

Best steak and kidney pie ever. It had a really nice flavor to it. Enjoyed my Carmel Logs too!

Love this place

Great place for British imports, great staff , very friendly and helpful, highly recommended ????????

Our little taste of England. Love the shop and the staff. Good selection of fresh pasties.

I bought a sausage roll from the store and it has a sausage in the pastry instead of sausage meat ???????????????????? that was poorly done and they don't have half the stuff i use to buy every time i went in. That was disappointing no more visits.

Good items from Britian. Just have to be careful when you buy crisp as some of them are out of date or close to expire date. They usually sell them cheap. Once we bought some without checking and they didn't taste right but the shop replaced them without any hassle. We always go there when we need some memories of home.

Fabulous selection of British foods, especially vegetarian haggis and IrnBru.

Poor customer service. I rather order online than support this business.

Has alot of soccer memorabilia.

Lots of British treats! From Chrisps, Jam, pies, to scarfs, shirts, mugs etc. If you're longing for a taste of home this is a great place to visit.

Fun products and fun people

Best sausage rolls

Best black pudding! Inventory is always restocked and lots of new and fun items coming in. This is hands down the best British specialty shop. Also prices are a small bit more reasonable

Outstanding product and the owners are brilliant!

Staff have been friendly and helpful every time I have gone in. Unfortunately with COVID, browsing is a problem, but the product is still there. I have to keep myself on a budget when I make my purchases as there are too many great UK products to choose from. Definitely get my fix of crisps and sweets!

Fun products

Love them so much !!!!

Friendly service with great variety of food and merchandise from the UK and Ireland.

Excellent selection of goods piled high as can be. They do not shy away from variety. Certain items are pricey due to import fees, but most are reasonable.

A taste of home.

Absolutely disgusting management and the selection is awful. I’m very disappointed.

Yummy Cadbury Chocs!

Fantastic selection of imported British chocolates, cheeses, bacon, football (soccer) memorabilia, and more!

Extremely friendly. Would totally recommend!

Great selection of food products and novelties.

We were looking for the regular sized Battenberg, which they didn't have, but they did have the mini ones. They had lots of English goods and it brought back lots of memories for my wife.

At little bit of Britain in our back yard. Great staff

Great store!! Great selection....lots of Irish stuff as well...try the Batchelors baked beans!

Great place for British foods

Great products and services,,,,especially those black blood pudding sausages,,,,definitely will be here again

All the sweets you will ever need, a huge selection of British and Scottish food and there homemade pies and sausage rolls are delectable. The staff are friendly and the owners will even try to bring in goods if there is something you want and they don't normally stock it.

Great services & always smile & great British selection and strongly recommended.

Great place for English products. Love their pot pies. Yummy. Wish they would bring the lamb one back. All good.

Very nice staff

Lovely folks, good service, good selection of items.

Very charming and unique shop

Great place for British food items

Probably the best British goods store in the Lower mainland

Hot sausage rolls for sale!!

Expensive for UK produce.

The inventory these guys keep is simply outstanding. The shop is well lit well laid out and their service is like a quality Swiss made chronometer. One small note regarding some rather negative comments on “ gollywogs”, those people aligning words like racism with the term “ gollywog”; should really spend more of their time researching its origins before making comments on here.it has absolutely nothing to do with anything remotely connect to racism. Keep up the fantastic work guys.

Great services and staffs!

Absolutely Love this Store!!! First off, Black Pudding and Real Potato Bread is Not Easy to Find!! Actually; most have never heard of it, nor would they give it a try. (Those people people don't know what they're missing! ????) This store is full of wonderful new things to explore & try such as dinner dishes, deserts, chocolates and candies, as well as little trinkets like beautiful celtic jewelry, bags, mugs, teas, decals, key chains, clothes & so much more!! You could easily spend an hour exploring all the wonderful goodies they carry. And a big shout out to the owners; they are so warm & welcoming, and very knowledgeable! If you have questions don't hesitate to ask, you are in very good hands. When you come to Black Pudding Imports you are treated like family & that my friends is a beautiful thing! Xoxo

Staff are very helpful and l love to browse as it is a trip down memory lane! From pies to pickles everything is very tasty and just as l remember growing up in England.

Awesome. Like it a lot.

Good store. Lots of British food choices. A little expensive, but genuine food

They carry several products from the UK. Concerns with the fact that some of the refrigerated items were set to expire within days. Cheese usually has long expiry dates so either there is a low turn over or someone bought it on a deal. When asking staff if they had any fresher cheese we were confronted with rude attitudes. I understand that the cheese is perfectly edible but not in the time frame we desired. Prices are quite high compared some other local UK importer stores.
