I am using this facility for last few years mainly for buying beef. One of the best store for halal meat. Recently they added grocery facility, that I like too. Clean, they could improve the quality of the customer service.

I could not get good experience while visiting this place. Though many people have good experience and reviews but unfortunately, i could not because of following reason. And it was my second experience. Last week, i went to this place on Sunday and store was open before its closing time 5pm. Even there were still 10-15 min to 5pm, when i ask the guy to buy some chicken, the guy said we are close. I totally understand it will be ok if they close meet shop about 10 min before. Today (Sunday) again i was there and it was about 45min before closing time 5pm, the guy said again they are close even i did not see any closing sign there up the counter. Even there is way to handle customer if cannot provide the services not only enough to say they are close. It is not professional way. After that i went to Noor Food Market, They had good place, clean and friendly service too. If some one wants no rush and quick friendly service, i ll recommend them to go to Noor Food Market.

Ordered meet from them and called them again in 2 minutes asking them to add more meat to the order and what they quoted “ I don’t have time for your call and change the order as I called already “ When I said I am not cancelling the order and I am giving more order the arragont lunatic was like “ok cancelling the order for you” If there was 0 reviews I would have given them that. Such a painful and worst experience from someone who been loyal to them. Hopefully they will understand what does it mean by Customer care.

Cleanliness: Very clean & organized. Quality of items: I bought meat and grocery. The meat was fresh. Pricing: OK. Yet, not the best as I still find another store less expensive. Customer Service: Very good. The butcher was friendly and very helpful. He served me with a smile, asked for any help I might need, and got the weight I requested. The cashier was friendly and fast. She answered my questions politely. I'd have given it a 5-star rate, if not because of one of the butchers, perhaps one the owners, who looked at me suspiciously more than once while I was served by the friendly butcher. There was no reason for him to assume that I was a shoplifter, so it might just be the way he always looked at people with darker skin. The guy lives in one of the most racist countries in the world, and he will get that taste sooner or later. This is a good Halal store, and it's absolutely nothing like that terrible place on Highland Road West.

The best Halal Meats store in KW area. Very nice staff and the butchers are always patient and courteous and know their meat. They make sure you're content and satisfied with your meat and never rush you even when they're super busy. Have always found their facility clean and sanitary. Plus, they are always bringing in new halal products (frozen item)... If you want halal deli meats, they've some amazing options. I've seen this store grow from 2008 to now and I pray for nothing but the best for them. They've come a long way and have become a staple grocery store for me. You won't be disappointed.

We were a customer for them more than 3 years. We had trusted them till the last purchase today. After several times of unusual quality, it seems that they are not straight forward with their customers. We bought some ground beef. They put lots of fat behind the visible area and in the picture you can see the difference. We never had the same experience with Zehrs or Walmart or any other Canadian shops.

Yesterday I watched 3 butchers surround and assault an old man out front, who they said “took a photo in their store.” When some other men stepped in to help the poor man, they yelled at them too and told them to get off the property. What I want to know is, what sketchy thing were you guys doing inside your store that warranted an assault on a helpless old man when he took a photo of it? It is clean meat shop. The meat is good. How ever,I used to shop from them but not anymore because i have been onetime before it is closed 30 min. and when I opened the door , i faced the owner. He was organizing the fruit. Weh i get in , he yelled at me and said I won’t cut the meat for you I’ve already cleaned everything, before I spoke even one word. Great friendly service. Well staffed so you usually get service quickly. All butcher meats are clean and of the utmost quality. They carry beef, chicken, lamb, and goat (lamb and goat is slightly more limited in quantity) as well as a selection of fresh produce, dairy, non-perishable canned goods, frozen meats and vegetables, rice, honey, nuts, and a bunch of tasty ethic foods and beverages most Canadians haven't heard of which might be worth trying. I definitely recommend this store, if for no other reason than being an excellent butcher shop.

We went to buy meat for iftar one day, we purchased meat ,which we are very impressed with the meat quality.At the cash we saw Helva (Turkish dessert) with a prices $2.99, which we wanted to get 3 of them, they told us it's $5.99, but it was priced $2.99, so they started to argue with us saying let the guy was playing with a price gun. So, if this would happen in other stores like Zehr's, Sobey's or Food Basic's they would give us free or for the price that it was priced.

What a great find! We recently moved to the area and fortunately found this grocer. This establishment brings back the spirit, flavour and good cheer I experienced in Arab supermarkets in the Middle East. Practically all what you need can be found here. There are all sorts of good healthy snacks that our children like. The home made snacks are true to word home made and you can tell they have momma’s touch. For example, the stuffed grape leaves are absolutely delicious as are their fatayer and their manakiskh. I’m so glad that they put up with my limited Arabic speaking skills. Horrible customer service... Came to this place entered the store before 6:00pm buying other stuffs before reaching the meat section to be told that they close at 6:00pm. My wife and I had an almost full cart of groceries. One butcher tried to help us, while two other hooligans told us in a very rude way that it's closed. They have Closing at 7:00pm on the website as well as posted on their door. Let me know how I can post pictures with this review. We travelled for 30 minutes to come to this place, NEVER coming back.

I love the Arabic sweets and pre prepared snacks. They gave us a rice sample that was really generous and of very fine quality and I'm surely returning to buy a big bag of the same. I bought some meat and thought it wasn't the best quality as it was mostly bones and very little flesh but I'd not completely give up on the idea of buying it again just to be sure that it's not always the case before writing this place off of my meat shopping destination. It's a very spacious shop and everything is arranged in a neat and tidy manner. The staff is polite and very helpful too.

This is for online orders only. There is no number to call and a very slow email response with no useful help. When you order online it asks you for a local delivery date and then accepts and confirms you order. BUT Once you are charged it takes "At Least" a week as they say to deliver!!! like it can take a month???? So very unhappy with this. You call the store and they say online orders are managed by a separate company. Not helpful AT ALL! I am still waiting for my order! Already ordered and received my needed items a week ago through other stores!

The butcher hours are different from the general store hours, which is misleading. To their credit, the butcher and store hours are clearly indicated on their website. However, given that the store name is Ammar Halal *MEATS* (the store name is revolved around meats), I inferred that the hours indicated on Google are the one reflecting the store AND the butcher, without distinction. I would suggest creating two pages: `Ammar Stores' and `Ammar Halal Meats/Butcher' displaying the proper hours of the store and butcher. The store and the butcher area are very clean so I would've loved to try out their meat. Unfortunately, as you can probably infer from the comment, I did not get to actually try their meat since the butcher closed before the store did, which is disappointing. I hope they find a solution to the displayed operating hours. Best

For long time used to be the best. Recently the customer service is decreasing everytime we visit the store. The prices are not competitive as before specially there are many new stores competing with the same products. My honest feedback should be a motivation to develop and fill the gaps. Unless you just need meat and you live walking distance from this place, don't waste your time. I went in for the first time there and will probably never bother again. They have English cucumbers advertised 2 for $1 when they should have been sitting right in the compost unless these people think people will buy rotten veggies haha. Green sour plums $10 for 540 grams. This is is a real rip off. Save your time and money

My first experience with Kefta was very positive It was fresh and subtly spiced. It's fantastic with harissa sauce. I live in Guelph and am happy to take the time to go to Ammar. It has a very friendly atmosphere a great place to explore!!

Nice place to buy Halal meat, cooperative staff, speaks English and Arabic. Grocery store is also good but with limited option for vegetables. Overall its a good place.

We buy nuts, dates, figs and tahini here. The variety of dates and figs is amazing and changes regularly. The fresh walnuts have an amazing taste. The mixed nuts are unique and a good price.

I am ashamed to have shopped in this racists store for over 5 years. A few months ago I was shopping here when I over heard the owner bad mouthing the Shia religion with another customer. I felt like I was unwelcomed at that moment and also scared cause I was a Shia. Ever since I have stoped shopping there and switched to Kishiki halal. I have told all my Shia friends and families and community of the type of store this is and also not to shop in this racist store. Shame on you guys. And don’t worry is won’t be the end of it I promise you that.
