It's a really great little grocery store with a fresh meat deli section that has a wide selection of meats and cheese the only fault I have with this store is that on multiple occasions I bought spoiled milk when the date clearly marks it fresh

Best neighbourhood grocery store in Elmwood. They almost always have whatever I need during the week. Friendly staff. I feed 5 kids and they have the best prices on sandwich meat. I almost always buy my ground beef and steaks here - always fresh and at a great price! Only think I don't like is the smell of cigarette smoke in the produce area of the store.

I have been a long time customer, but I am very upset that a woman there accused me of stealing something! I gave her no reason to think I did anything wrong, and I was purchasing stuff too, but if this is how you treat paying customers I am done! I can go to a big box store, but thought I would do you guys a favor. By the way, you are not allowed to accuse people of stealing unless you see them taking something as I have worked in retail too. It hurts that an honest person would be treated like a thief. No wonder your store is empty!

Place is well lit but building is old good pricing on meats and some produce But canned goods pricey. I realize it's hard to compete big boys ie: freashco or no frills. But maybe not try to pay the mortgage with every sale.

The family who runs this place are beyond amazing & kind. I love going to the deli as well, the ladies who work the counter are so kind and patient. I refuse to get my meat from anywhere else and the lady who grows the plants make them last a lifetime. A wonderful part of our community!

Be very careful of expiry dates here, especially if it is on sale they often put expired items on sale and state "that is why it's on sale".

Been going here for years and meats are good but some prices are too high. There produce is always catchy when I check it out either it's really good or really bad and when it's bad they put it on sale. I swear I saw stock from when there so called dollarstore was next door on the shelves of miscellaneous items.

Quark cheese and various frozen take home burek flavors that I can't find anywhere else in the city! Very good pricing in the meat and deli section. Wonderful selection of imported European goods along with Canadian too ☺ This place is unique but the meat burek sells fast ????

Everything's extremely expensive like $15 for toilet paper 15 $20 for small container of laundry detergent everything is just extremely too high and it feels like you're under surveillance when you're in there who's more workers than people and the store closes randomly

I like to support local and shop here when I need a couple items for dinner. The selection is good for a small grocer but twice I've purchased produce without looking it over thoroughly only to realize some of the items had gone bad. Staff are very friendly.

Excellent butcher and meat counter. I find the quality is better and the price lower for chicken and pork especially. They also sell a really good homemade potato salad and pre-marinaded steaks.

Meat is very sketchy looking, sometimes green. Thats why meat prices are lower. Spend the bus fare and go to Walmart or Regent area to shop. You will get more for your money. The prices are almost triple here. You can shop at this store everyday and pay. They will still question you what you want in the store and follow you down every aisle. Lots of the food is expired, or have bin still on the shelf for years because the prices are high.

Not very accessible for those whom are handicapped. If your in a wheelchair you can’t get in cause inside the store there are metal posts and you must walk through, and they don’t move, I am guessing about 12-16 inches apart. I can’t get in with my walker (they are about 24-28 inches wide most walkers)so I had to leave the store, and the girl at the till said oh well it’s your loss (rude girl)and made NO effort to see if she could help me, and at the time I was leaving I seen a mom with a child in a stroller and the child was sleeping and she could not get into the store with the stroller so very sad she had to take out the sleeping child and leave her stroller at the door and hoping that no one takes it and by this time the child was woken up and crying. I said to her they fine seem to care about making it accessible for handicapped or parents with children in strollers so very very sad. Not at all accommodating for parents with strollers or for those on wheelchairs or that must use walkers to get around. People who live near by and are disabled don’t waste your time and money with this store cause if you have a walker you can’t get in their he metal poles inside the store. Zero stars for this place But it forces you to give a star before you are able to post
