Finally found a store that sells andouille, and it's so delicious and smoky that you need to store it in an airtight container. Seriously, store it in an airtight container or your entire fridge will literally smell like smoke, wafting out to you every time you open the door. That is how incredibly delicious their andouille is.

Brought in some wild game meat to get processed by these guys, they did a very good job on the pepperoni sticks, breakfast sausage and salami we asked for. Pretty short turnaround time and high quality end product. This is our new go-to butcher shop for processing. They are true masters of their craft ????

Fantastic place. And great prices. I'm lost as to the people saying expensive. Imported mustard in a glass jar as cheap as grocery stores. Sausage and cold cuts cheaper then the competition ( tenderloin, canters etc). I hate to assume but think people arent educated in current meat pricing. Great staff with no pressure attention to my needs. Everyone that was in the store found what the wanted and had a smile on their face( it's Wolseley so everyone is polite and happy). It was 1st time there and won't be my last.

If your looking for an authentic German butcher this is the place to go. They have tons of things that really hit me with nostalgia. Thier sausages and cold cuts are simply amazing. There is even a small German candy section along with an isle full of all the mustards, jams and sauces you'd ever need to make a great lunch or supper. I always go here for 3 things, thier Hungarian sausage, black cat licorice and meat packages. This place has it all and with great customer service on top.

Absolutely great deli with a vast selection of quality imported goods in all categories including baking items, toiletries, decorative items, seasonal, CDs and DVDs. The meat department is first class with assorted cuts of raw meat and a vast array of cold cuts and smoked items including in-house ones. There is a cheese counter, a large assortment of candies, chocolates and condiments. If looking for a German deli with friendly helpful staff, this Winnipeg establishment is Superb!

A lovely and charming shop! Hand sanitizer is at the door, a max of 5 customers allowed at once, and the staff is ALL wearing masks. Physical distancing signs are prominent. I can’t believe I live in Wolseley and have never been here before! I will be back

Do not go hungry! It smells so amazing in there, it's very hard not to shop with your stomach lol Great service, very friendly staff. Got a dry Hungarian sausage, sooooo good. Has a bit of heat to it so if you don't like spicy, not for you. They have the best metwurst ever! Love all the different European foods, hats and flags. Lots to remind me of when I was a kid. Very nice store that feels like 'the good old day's' when walking in. Gone many times for the dried sausage at the back, and for the $2 ish dollars each, it's a nice treat to enjoy from younger days, and it's so much cheaper than beef jerky in a bag from big companies. So nice to see that a decent small business is doing okay, and selling good food.

This is the only place I go for Authentic German meat and sausage. Their weißwurst and smoked ribs are outstanding. This is a family run business. My mother took me here as a kid in the 60s and the quality has not changed. I highly recommend this place if you want a little taste of Europe.

German deli grocery and butcher sausage maker serving everything German including groceries soups condiments bread and a whole assortment of other stuff. Watch the on-street parking after 3:30 during the week tow away Zone. Park on the residential street that right angles to Portage Avenue ( store is street corner Portage Frontage) and you can walk a little ways and get some exercise to work off some of that weisswurst! ;-)

The staff never uses rubber gloves to serve after they handle the cash machine. They handle meat products for customers with bare hands including cold cuts without even washing their hands let alone putting on rubber gloves, as required by law. It's been going for a long time as well. Grosse and disgusting. Health inspector alert !!
