The best fresh Beef Jerk and Corned Beef in Winnipeg. Their Deli Meats are so cheap compared to the super markets. They have a great selection of made in house deli meats and numerous cuts of meat to choose from at a very good price. I have not been disappointed whenever i have been there other then the long lines of people queuing up when they have 5 people helping out. Its just that good and popular.

Great value for your meat needs. Homemade luncheon meats. We bought 400 grams of luncheon meat, four marinated pork kabobs, and loaf of rye bread for $16! $1.69 per 100g of turkey breast. We've been here twice and the staff have been very friendly/helpful.

Awesome place. The meat is so fresh. It doesn't keep long like meats from the big stores and that's a good thing! They stock quite a few condiments for bbq or tapas. I would like to see them stock a nice blue cheese dressing for a filet mignon or maybe advertise some other pairings. With the very reasonable prices on the meat I wouldn't think twice about purchasing horse radish for my prime rib or blue cheese...you get the idea. Great job guys and gals.

Finally, a meat store arrived to our neighbourhood after Keller Meats closed its doors a year ago. It is a fourth location for the Miller's Meats in Winnipeg in addition to it's stores on Grant, Pembina, and St.Mary's. I was very impressed with the store. It is not big, but looks modern and spacious. The meat is from local producers, it is fresh and delicious. I have tried their store made sausages and deli meats and really enjoyed them. I usually have trouble finding deli meats that are not too salty and have a lot of flavour. Their garlic sausage, smokies, and onion meat loaf are what I was looking for. Hungarian sausages were very popular among many customers I have seen during my visit, but I did not have a chance to try it this time. The store also has aisles with pasta and BBQ sauces, condiments, and a frozen section with pies. Great store, hard-working staff, come and check it out!

Was here just before Christmas stopped i to get some meaty snacks which are always so good. As i was getting ready yo leave I noticed they were now selling Lumber Jack smoker pellets so i had a lengthy converstion with the manager and he was very patient with all my questions which led to me purchasing a bag to try. Well im sold I tried the Char Hickory and love it and will go back and thy the others. For the gang at Millers keep up the good work you all just keep getting better all the time!

All of the quality of their meat is really great. I picked up a few strip steaks to throw on the barbeque on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. They did not disappoint! Even the three young kids dining with us devoured all of their meat. I also picked up the vacuum packed marinated potatoes for an easy side dish, they were alright. Also grabbed a couple of samosas for a snack the next day. The samosas were good, I just wish that they had some of the hot sauce to go with it.

Bought two strip loin steaks and they were nice. Bavarian sausage, breakfast sausages were nasty. Breakfast sausage smelled sour while cooking and were definitely spoiled ( we bought them frozen) . Bavarian sausage similar. Beef jerky was tough and flavorless. So, we do not recommend this place.

A great meat market, close to the middle of nowhere. Location: as a non Winnipeg resident, the location is excellent. It's on my way out of the city, I can grab what I need on my way home so my goods aren't sitting in a hot car all day. The parking lot, while somewhat busy, is never really packed to capacity, easy to get to, and easy to get back onto a main route. I could however understand that a Winnipeg resident may find the location a bit out of the way. Facility: clean, organized, and operates quick & efficiently. Products are well marked, prices are always visible. Staff: friendly, eager to help, there's always enough bodies to help everyone as the customers pass by the counters. Staff are always presentable, and clean considering they work in a meat shop. I do find the staff in general seen knowledgeable about three product as well. Product: product is good, and consistent. Many places I find a cut of meat one week will differ greatly from your previous visit. I don't find that here. Prices are a little higher than what I'm used to paying, but I can justify it given the facility, product and convenience as a whole. There are also many other shelf type products in the main area of the store. Suggested product: I'm a beef advocate so... -rib roasts and steaks -grilling steaks -burger. Can be purchased prepacked and pre frozen in 10 lbs boxes. As we buy meat for a household this is great. The 10 lbs box has been broken down into 10 x 1lbs individuality wrapped packages. I don't get the impression that the frozen meat I've purchased has sat in a counter unsold for days or weeks prior to freezing. Most other places you will need to buy a bulk pack, take it home, break it down, and re-wrap it for the freezer. No need for that here, and who really wants to do that. And might I add the packaging and wrapping it very tidy. If this isn't what you're looking for, they will custom package fresh ground beef as required. I do not care for the meat sticks however, they seem weird somehow, but I'm sure that's just my own preference. I highly recommend Miller's meats. I do find you get what you pay for in this instance.

The pork belly I got was crazy expensive (double what it was worth) and was of mediocre quality. Most of the fat was trimmed off for no apparent reason which affected my ability to cook it how I had planned. I recommend ordering exactly what you want ahead of time so what happened to me doesn't happen to you. Also purchased what we thought was an interesting drink mixer in a black bottle. Very expensive. It was terrible. Actually intended to be an alcohol replacement and not a mixer. Confusing labeling. Would have appreciated a warning we were about to buy a small bottle of apple cider vinegar with some herbs in it for $25. Terrible.

It’s always busy, make sure you grab a number. We get beef jerky here regularly however today the jerky we got tasted overcooked/burnt, the flavour and texture were both off. Really disappointed as we got quite a lot. Got a couple rings of garlic sausage which is delicious. I wouldn’t get deli meat here though, had a bad case of food poisoning a few months ago from some.

New costumer with them. We had to change our Christmas gathering because they couldn't deliver the Turkey when they said they would. My daughter used them for new years social. Cold cuts platter. The ham was bad. Informed them about the problem and they wouldn't believe me and just said the ham was fine. If your planning anything special wouldn't recommend them at all.

I needed 2 thick tenderloin steaks so went to Miller Meats on Headmaster. They package their tenderloin in cellophane for some reason so I picked out 2 thick steaks for a total of $20. When I got them home one was two thin pieces tied together with string and one was two thin pieces piled on top of one another. They were both packaged so you could not see this. If you buy tenderloin there I would suggest you have them cut you one don't buy the packaged stuff. I will not be going back.

Due to limited hours during covid I am currently unable to make it down myself, so I sent someone to pick up a 12lb brisket for me. I have been shopping at Miller's for years, but only the one on St Mary's, where I have never had a bad experience. I have to express how disappointed with the quality of the product I received from this location. This brisket was over trimmed, leaving almost no fat on the bottom at all, big chunks cut in to the meat, and half of the piece of meat had turned grey, and I'm not just talking about surface level... I had to cut a lot of meat off to remove this. I checked it the evening that it was purchased, so I know this didn't happen during the ~4 hours in my fridge. When purchasing such a large and expensive piece of meat I try to shop at somewhere I trust to give me high quality meat, and at $120 this was not a cheap piece of meat. Needless to say I will not be returning here, and I would suggest that before purchasing anything from this store to inspect the meat, as they are clearly not concerned with the quality of the product that is leaving the store.
