I’ve been going to this store ever since it opened, and have not had very many issues. Today I noticed that the lady at the front counter seemed and looked angry, or stern. She did not greet any of the shoppers. When I was at the cashier, she did not say hello, or thank you at all. She didn’t talk to anyone, and she was very stern. She was very aggressive with the bags, and receipts. She should be more educated in terms of customer service. Please inform her about how to interact with customers more politely. This is Canada, not India.

Availability of goods of Indian origin is fairly good. Prices are higher than Superstore or Walmart. Some of the green vegetables are not of good quality e.g. Rupini & Methi leaves were not good at all and resulted in a lot of wastage.

Most of the times it's been good experience but last visit just ruined my day. They should teach their cashiers about the products they have, and be honest to the customers when they need any information. And also a good positive attitude instead of realizing customer that it's their fault, even though customer confirmed with cashier while paying for their stuff. Successful running business it's all about being honest. And also stop selling the expired stuff . Your current rakhi sweets are already expired...

Once in a week visited there to get Indian groceries. This is a place where one can get all indian stuff n spices. But once i had a bad experience when I bought black beans, after a week i cooked them, but the gravy was full of black small insects, this happens only when beans are expired n u can’t see them before cooking as they are found inside of beans. When i went back to store to tell them about it, they said this is not from our store. They asked me for bill because I bought it a week ago, i didn’t have bill. I was not there to return but to tell them beans are not good n expired. After that experience I stopped to go there especially for lentils. I went there now very rare as there are another indian stores.

If u buy any utensils from gill plz careful for return policy. On receipt they mentioned u return with in 14 days with receipt. What when we need to return they said if u washed the utensils u not return the product. I don't understand why not to wash a new utensils if u need to keep in kitchen at this pandemic situation.
