These guys are great! They are a 3 generation business (maybe even more!) It's the best Old School traditional experience you'll get! They make amazing house made charcuterie, killer sausages, a great little cafe, bakery, and (the orginal!) In grocery-store wine store! The family is amazing, the products are killer, and service is always good.

Illichmann's is a modest-looking establishment away from the main drag, but they produce some superior products, especially in the meats. You have not had a good pepperoni until you've had Illichmann's! I drove over 200 kms just to have this pepperoni. It is just that good!

Illichmann's has always been one of my go to places for meat, cheese and certain things for recipes that can be hard to find like bakers ammonia. They also have extremely friendly staff and a fantastic selection of Gehringer Brothers wine and more sweets than you can shake a stick at.

This is the only place I shop for all my meats and cheeses. Great selection and amazing staff and the quality of product is always top notch. It is old school butchery at it's finest and everything is made in house including their unbelievable array of sausages; Sweet Italian, Chorizo, Brats,Bison Smokies....to name but a few. My family enjoys the breakfast sausages, or hand sliced bacon every Sunday morning and it is always a hit for guests visiting from out of town. Thanks Illichmann's for being a staple in Kelowna and bringing old world values to young up and coming families.

For the market, great amount of selections and the meat is very fresh. This is the only place I go to get steaks. You can get them to cut whatever thickness you like. Service is very friendly and it's a very good shop. I think they are German but not sure. And for the lunch place, I enjoy eating there they have great selection as well, and the sausage is to die for. Not too much seats are available but they're enough for the place. Highly recommended to check it out.

I walked into the store the first time ever and I was happy with the selection of course some are a bit pricier then i have expected, but hands down I mean you guys are import most of the things so I think in the big talking it is ok. I can’t wait to try everything you guys have to offer, as I haven’t had it forever… best part was actually my favourite mayo and mustard from back home including aromat. ???????? thank you Update I gave you first 5/5 but I have to take two off as 3 of the things I bought at your store were expired (the weisswurst was more then 10days over due and the smell was so off when I opened it…) that’s ????

Good sandwiches, and bakery section on one side and amazing deli and butcher shop on the other side. If I were ever to move away from Kelowna this would be one of the places that I would miss the most.

the food is amazing but i just want y'all to know that working here was a nightmare. i was an employee on the bakery side for a few months back in 2013-14. at the time they were receiving government subsidies for new hires with no previous employment history, ie teenagers looking for their first jobs, and the subsidy would last for the first 90 days of their employment, after which they would have to pay the employees themselves as a business. personally, at pretty much the exact 3 month mark, they set me up to take the fall for their broken breadslicer in the back that probably hadn't been maintenanced since they opened in the 60s and let me go. i met a friend about 6 months later who had a similar expierience; worked for 3 months and then dismissed. so yeah. great food but sleazy business practices, for anyone who cares about that kind of thing. it really is a shame, because i did sincerely enjoy making sandwiches and practicing my german with customers.

Fantastic! One stop shopping. Best place to buy meat and deli items as well as hard to find European goodies. The service is always fantastic. Sometimes there's a bit of a line up but it moves quickly. Always my go-to place for stew beef and Ukrainian ham sausage. The lunch counter has lots of wonderful desserts and the sandwiches can't be beat. Also a great selection of soups and hot dishes for lunch on the go. Ample parking. My family has shopped here since the 80's and as a kid I loved all the candy and chocolates you didn't see anywhere else. Some of the staff could use a little more knowledge on wine parings but they aren't a wine shop, I think the wine is just a convenience item, so I guess you can't really expect the staff to be seasoned sommeliers. I highly recommend stopping in if you haven't already.

Had a terrible experience today. We went in and my dad is physically enable to wear a mask (even has an exemption letter from the doctor) one of the young women said please put on a a mask my dad explained to her he was exempt and proceeded to show her his documents. She grabbed her manager and very loudly announced “oh another antimasker”. The manager then proceeded to tell us if my dad won’t put his mask on she will serve us outside. This business should be ashamed of their employees and their “rules” I will NEVER support this business again!!

They apparently don’t check the due dates on the cooler items in front of the till. I bought sausage that had expired a week ago. My bad, I should have checked and I usually do but I would expect more diligence on their part as this was not a cheap product. Watch your own due dates because they don’t check.

“Wow”, what a feast. We just had catering service from Illichmann’s Sausage Shop and Chef Bucky rocked it. It was so delicious, from the roasted pork loin, to the chicken schnitzel, and roasted potatoes, veggies and slaw. Beautifully prepared ready to eat. To top it off the pork gravy was amazing, so flavourful. Easily one of the best catered sit down dinners I’ve had in a long time. The finish was a bounty of baked sweets for dessert. The positive comments from those attending the feast were plentiful with many asking again where we got the feast and where Illichmann’s is located. Bravo.

I had a small service for my father beginning of Octorber and Illichmanns put together open face sandwiches and pasteries, they were well put together and everyone enjoyed them and it was more then enough, and being from a Danish heritage we like our open face sandwiches. What a delightful deli and a great Kelowna staple! I forgot to take a number today when I ventured in and missed spots being called until I figured that out as I did not know the process but that did not matter really. There were so many good quality foods to check out and quite the nice variety offered. Prices were not awful either! Left with many treats and meats! After being a customer for at least 15 years, Feb 11 held the only bad experience we have ever had and it made me feel enough anger and disappointment to write about it. My husband and I wanted to buy just over $50.00 of wonderful wine and the thin/tall/overly tanned looking woman who is usually there was trying to ring it in but could not find one of the bottles in the computer. It was a little busy but she made us wait at least 5-10 minutes while she mucked around in the computer looking for it, the other two staff(oriental lady and tall caucasian man) also tried to ring in sales around us while trying to help her find it. She never made any apologies and finally gave it up to the tall gentleman after accidentally erasing our entire sale. We were patient but I started to worry about my getting to work on time, as she is walking away I gently asked what their time was and she laughingly stated "it's time to take your money!" Instantly I was offended at her lack of appreciation for our time and patience waiting and quietly asked my husband if we could just leave but he wanted to proceed with the sale as the tall gentleman was still trying his best. Illichmann's must get enough business now to treat regular customers this way, this woman recognizes me in there frequently over the years and could have found a way to properly take our money in a proper amount of time. It makes me a little sad to feel the need to write about something negative instead of about all the positives but now we have been made to feel as though you would never know the difference without this letter as you clearly have enough business to promote such an attitude as the one this woman had. My husband and I both agreed that we have no real need to go here any more.

Second year that I have brought in my bear meat for processing and will keep coming back! Last year just had cheese smokies made up, this year cheese and jalapeno smokies, garlic sausage, and medium pepperoni. Everything turned out awesome, can't believe how good it all tastes!! I definately recommend bringing your game meat here, you wont regret it!
